Hi guys!
Sometimes it seems as if the ring and notification volume remain muted when activating the sound toggle in the quick settings. Anybody else experiencing this problem?

Double check if you have disturb mode on or off

Never ever used this mode. So it shouldn't be the reason.

Is there a way to turn off that annoying sound when you rotate the phone? I don't remember if I have always had it or if it was something I might have messed with by accident. Also is there a reason why notifications don't ring on the headphones when they are plugged in? I though that was just weird. Thanks and I apologize if this question is a bit random haha.

Set the notification sound to silent. To keep getting notification sounds for texts/emails/etc., go into the program and set individual notification options for each one.
Anyone know how to separate notification and ringer volume? It's annoying tiu have to keep hearing notification sounds sy night. I don't want to put the phone on vibrate at night.

hi guys want to ask one question regarding the silent mode.. everytime i turn on the silence mode during class and notification come in like facebook,whatsapp and so on.. after that when i turn off the silent mode.. those volume for system,ringtone and music will be back on normal.. but the notification volume will remain 0 and i have to increase it my own in the setting.. does anyone encounter such problem?
It's weird. I'm not talking about DND. Seems as though every time I put ringer on vibrate it reverts back to sound after a while. Same with the media volume. I don't get it?!?!?
Anyone seen experience same?

you sure you're putting RINGER on vibrate and not NOTIFICATIONS? they changed the volume controls in 5.x to make it "more difficult" to actually put your ringer on vibrate.
this has happened to me too. haven't figure it out yet, though. I'll put it in vibrate and a few minutes later will hear a text msg notification. Really inconvenient while in class and meetings. Ringer and notifications are linked in volume. if you go to sound and notifications settings it only shows media, alarm, and ring volumes.
Is anybody else having a problem where Whatsapp messages still vibrate even though I've switched it off in the apps settings?
Also is there a way to switch all of vibration for notifications off on the phone? On the M9 I could put the phone on silent and choose whether or not I want it to vibrate with notifications or not but on the 6P it seems if I have the volume silent it still vibrates.
Yeah I have this problem but I think it has to do with the favorite contacts, only those ring in priority mode.
