Android Random Reboot on recovery TWRP, even when installing a ROM - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I'm experiencing something strange with my S5. I was trying the Resurrection Rom and it had more random reboot, even bootloop for 1 hour, then after taking out the battery and wiping cache it restarted. After that I want to change the ROM with the Lineage. When I try to install it, the gapp installation stop at about 75%. I had reset the phone and restart with wipe, and rom installation, and also now the rom installation stopped. I tryed also to revent to the stock rom but I've always a boot loop. Tryed again to installa Lineage but I've always the installation that stop, and then it reboot and go in boot loop. Also to enter in recovery, I need to try several time, also removing battery. Now always it enter.. Or may be that I see the message, rebooting in recovery, but after a minute the phone restart.. What may be? I never see something like that.

Try to flash a firmware by odin.
Or change your recovery.
Good luck mate

[Q] Please help! Stuck on boot screen!

I attempted to flash a Liquid Smooth rom yesterday. I rebooted into the bootloader, and chose recovery mode. I wiped all cache, then installed the zip. I followed this by installing the gapps zip immediately, which I think I shouldn't have done.
When I rebooted it, it was stuck on the liquid smooth screen for a while, I know this is normal, but when it sat there for an hour and fifteen minutes I knew something was wrong. If I hold down both volume keys and the power button I can reboot into the bootloader again, but when I now choose recovery mode, it gets stuck on the google load screen.
Can anybody help me out?

Plug the N7 into your PC before you boot into the bootloader.
You were correct to flash gapps immediately after flashing the ROM. Maybe the ROM didn't flash correctly because you only wiped caches. If you are coming from a different ROM you will need to do a factory reset. If you didn't back up your apps and don't have a nandroid, then you might want to wipe caches, format system, and reflash the previous ROM and try to boot in and backup your apps. Might not work but worth a shot if you got stuck where you are now with no app backups.

Wow, that didn't even cross my mind, I did this and I've got the rom up and running now. Thanks a lot.

Bootloop after first restart with multiple CFWs!

Hi guys,
I have the standard note III 9005 and I had always installed CFWs on it.
I wanted to update to newer 6.0.1 Roms (had 6 roms before) but I seem to have a VERY annoying bug:
I tried to install Temaseks rom and resurrection rom but I had huge issues with it. I got bootloops although I got the newest 3.0.2.0 Team Win Recovery Project
I installed rom, GAPPS (correct version of course 6.0.1) , install rom again then delete cache and then it worked on both roms.
So a simple "install rom, GAPPS, then clean cache" didnt work. I tried to install multiple times until I got the installation! YAY! BUUUT!
Here is the fun part:
If I restarted the phone acidentally or on purpose I got stuck in a bootloop. After that the phone was unuseable again so the installation was useless.
Only solution is to completely wipe and reinstall and experiment with the order of installation until it works!
I did install STOCK rom because I was so freaked out and then went with ODIN the complete rooting guide for clean rooting, but still problem exists.
I tried two other roms but the problem was that while flashing the phone restarted automaticly and then TWRP said no installed rom? ???
Huge thanks for helping me!
New info:
I was able to make the rom work. I restarted and got stuck into bootloop!
I could boot normally after deleting dalvik cache!
But after rebooting I got into bootloop. Tried deleting cache again but this time it never booted properly.
How can I avoid by always deleting dalvik whenever I have to restart my phone (if battery dies or purpose)?
PPS: Stock Rom flash works flavlessly. I am waiting in stock rom until I find a proper solution :"(
Suggest you read the roms faqs and Q&A particularly with regard to TWRP .

Galaxy A5(2015) restarts again and again.

Hello, i wanted to change frequency bands on galaxy a5 and use this thread:https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059, after i restart device, it started but after few seconds it restarted automatically, after started and same.
what can i do, if i install stock rom may it back to normal(after hard reset from twrp, and install custom os nothing changed)?
Can someone help?
Clean wiping and installing stock ROM will obviously fix this issue. If you are on a custom ROM, you can try wiping and reinstalling the system partition only which may fix the issue of boot loop.

Reboot leads to bootloop on every ROM

No matter what ROM I flash, when I reboot, it goes into bootloop. Even if I pull the battery, it stays in bootloop. I have to wipe cache/dalvik just to make it boot again. I'm on latest TWRP and baseband. Any ideas?

You didn't specify your exact phone model, so assuming KLTE
AFAIK aroma does not work well with our TWRP
Can you pull the battery and then boot directly to recovery so you can wipe system/cache/Dalvik and then flash the ROM again?
If recovery is messed up, can you pull battery, then boot to download mode so you can reflash TWRP in Odin/Heimdall, or better yet flash latest stock Rom (caution if you have a g900V/A with stock locked bootloader) in Odin/Heimdall, followed by TWRP?
Post again if you need more help, and try to include as many specifics as possible eg exact phone model, TWRP version, Rom zip filename, Gapps, etc. I'll try to help if I can
I am very sorry for not posting the model number, mine is G900I (KLTEDV), everytime i turn on the phone it just keeps booting onto the recovery and goes to install the viper4android but it fails to do that and reboots again and again, its impossible to do anything basically, not booting onto the rom or anything. Recovery version is TWRP 3.2.2-0, it opens up directly to the zip file which is viper4androidfx-aroma.zip and tries to flash it and crashes and the whole process starts again, pulling the battery didnt break the chain it just keeps rebooting to do that again!
I reflashed a new twrp recovery ver 3.2.3-0, but it still tries to flash that zip file again! Even after deleting the file itself it still tries to flash it and keeps rebooting!
How do i get rid of this twrp loop!? This is so weird!
P.S: After reflashing twrp the phone boots to the rom normally but i cant access recovery anymore, whenever i go to recovery it goes on in an infinite bootloop (cleared cache and dalvik cache using es explorer root), I am also on LineageOs 16.0, tried stock recovery but the stock recovery also keeps bootlooping.
P.S this viper4android is a magisk module!
NVM, solved it by flashing stock rom! Thanks!
