Hello all, like the title says, I saw a lot of root methods for P9 Lite here on XDA, but all of them says it works for L31 and 21 variants.
I want to root mine, and i'd like to know which is the best method to root VNS L23 variant.

The tutorial for L21 and L31 should work on L23, unlock bootloader, flash TWRP and SuperSU

Nope i don't think so
You will also need to unlock your bootloader to get rid of the Balong. It is not a build number, it is a bug related to installing something wrong on your device.

I'm not allowed to post links yet so, search in Google for "Root Honor 8 lite EMUI 5.0 and Install TWRP Recovery - GizDev.com". It worked for me.

I have tried all one click root apk (kingroot, kingoroot, iroot, magisk, flamaroot and etc..)
Non of them are successful, so i go for the traditional way of properly rooting p10 lite.
And i stuck at getting the unlock code which huawei official web no longer providing the codes anymore.
Is there any solution or successful cases that i can refer to?
I am unable to unlock the bootloader. I do hope anyone can help me with this.

Is it possible to downgrade using the dload folder and stock recovery or do I need to use adb or some other way?

short answer is: if you have a C432 then yes, if C02 then no, if other have to try
In general, for everything but C432 you need an unlocked BL

Your phone is a Huawei P8 Lite. You should go to that thread and ask the question there.
