when i click on the Download button, a couple of pop-ups open, and a blank page with the filename in the URL opens, but no download

Yeah this often happens with older files. Those look to be 2012/13. The first one uses DevHost which used to be good but is now a pita an riddled with ads and always offers two links... only one of which is genuine. But even if its the right link it's so long ago some of these files may be removed anyway glad you found some other links.

I see TWO download, one green and one blue (always the same) and one leads my to a watchmovies-link and the other one shows a new window saying "undefiniedundefinefed" etc etc.
Another add showing before was also quite rancid. It made a high pitch sound saying "your computer is locked, do not try to attempt to unlock it.. Call this number to unlock it xxx". Only worked to ctrl+alt+delete and delete the process, very annoying.

If so then this is probably your lucky day!
I remembered helping out a friend of mine with his device (quite a long time ago) and I remembered that this was one of a handful of files for his device.
I took a look at some of my archived files (on my backup drive) and had found it.
You guys/gals are lucky that I didn't delete it yet from my archive "AFH Upload and/or Delete it" event I've been working on recently.
I'm uploading the DextersJB18.zip file to my File Host Account now and it should take 5-15 min +/- to finish.
I'll let you all know when it's done and where to grab it from.

called citibank mobile app support, to download the app i have to use browser from my phone and go to citi.com/mobileapp, should be download link for android there, per customer rep

The version is 4.0 and was updated and put out on Android Market on Feb 10, 2012.
Help I need to make a deposit...
Could someone please post the current APK? It's free on Google Play, but it won't let those of us outside the U.S. download it (even though they have many customers around the world with U.S. accounts). The Verizon model was the first to be supported.
Well, I get a "there was a problem parsing the package" error when I try to install the apk. Unknown sources is ticked, even launching from google drive gives me the same error. I can't get past this step, please help

It sounds like the apk was corrupted during download. Try clearing your browser's cache, etc, and re-download.
Did that. I actually ended up factory resetting and same thing happens

I will post this here in case anyone else were to have this problem: I was getting a parsing error because I was using dolphin browser. Once I used chrome, it will download the file as it should!

Apologies, I didn't think of asking what browser you were using but you are correct. I do recall an issue using Dolphin being mentioned by another user as well.

Hi. Don't panic. It's not hardbricked if you can get to download mode.
I'm just finished downloading A510 firmware. Gonna extract the param and make odin file for you.

I made a mistake, i removed my OS in TWRP and now my tablet will not boot anymore.
Nowhere on the internet is a rom to find, so i will try this: can someone who has also this tablet, make a backup in TWRP and send it to me so i can restore it, then i have a OS again.
I can't do anything with the tablet now.

Can you get into download mode still? I haven't actually done a restore myself but since I got the tablet, I've been reading and getting stuff together for when or if the time ever came. So you can decide on wether to use my advice or wait for someone else to help since I can't say that it has worked for me.
But from what I have gathered you can set your tablet back to stock with MiFlash and a recovery file from a Russian site. Since you have the X304L, you would need the one that corresponds with that. Get it from this forum

Make sure to get the full ROM at the bottom and not one of the OTA files. Then you will need MiFlash from here

In the Qfil flashtool the download button stays 'blank" i can;t click on download.... tried this multiple times and on more computers.

First of all don't panic, the solution has been made on march 2020 so no need to worry!
Solution-
1) Download the files from below links-
To download files search Stock rom for TB-X304L and click on the link which includes firmwarefiles
I can't post links because this is my first post and i can't post links in my first post according to xda
1. Download stock firmware -
2. Download qfil ( to download qfil go to that firmwarefiles and the go to comment section, I have posted the solution over there too,
Qfil will give Sahara error if you don't download it from that link because i faced that problem while doing it!
2) Requirements
1. P.C
2. USB Cord
3. Stock Firmware file( download link is given)
4. Qfil file from above link
3) Follow these steps
1. Download Qfil from above link and extract it, then paste it in "c:/program files" in your pc
2. Now download the stock firware from above link and then copy the firmware file and paste it in c:/program files/Qualcomm/QPST/bin and then open qfil.exe (it's present inside bin folder).
3. Once you have opened Qfil.exe, select flat build then browse your emmc file then load xlm file and load patch0 .
4. After that switch off your device and press and hold volume up and down keys simultaneously then connect your usb cord.
5. Now click download on Qfil.exe and wait untill it finishes, when the firware is flashed disconnect your usb cord and restart the device.
6. Congratulations you have successfully flashed stock firmware in your TB-X304L

As i said i can't provide any links here due to some xda rules as this is very fresh account on xda and xda don't allow me to post any links yet!

To download files search Stock rom for TB-X304L and click on the link which includes firmwarefiles
I can't post links because this is my first post and i can't post links in my first post according to xda
If you face any problem while downloading then comment on this site
And that blogtech is not working.

Your tab will not boot if you will flash its older android version firmware.
Try flashing newer android version firmware
To revive my old device, I was searching for custom roms for Lenovo Tab 4 X304L, but found that the source codes have not been released for this device.
Has anyone tried contacting lenovo on the same ??
P.S. Sorry for bumping on an old thread, didn't know where else to ask. (Since i couldn't find dedicated thread)

But from what I have gathered you can set your tablet back to stock with MiFlash and a recovery file from a Russian site. Since you have the X304L, you would need the one that corresponds with that. Get it from this forum

Make sure to get the full ROM at the bottom and not one of the OTA files. Then you will need MiFlash from here
