Need Stock N910C TWRP Restore Image - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
As the subject says I need this as I have a phone here with dead USB and it's currently running DN7 but need to restore to stock to do a warranty return.
If anyone knows of one available or could upload one would much appreciate it, thanks.

You would also need to revert to the stock bootloader. Search around on how to factory flash your phone using ODIN. There are a lot of guides here in the forums.

noob, note 8.0 lte, getting back to stock from cwm

Just running this by, to see if i have everything correct.
if i have cwm installed, regardless of model,
to install a stock firmware from samsung, thus basicaly resetting my device back to stock,
i can go into cwm and install this,
http://samsung-updates.com/details/12916/Galaxy_Note_8.0_LTE_Canada/SGH-I467M/RWC/I467MVLAMG2.html
since thats my model,
and it will restore the device to factory settings, correct?
will this wipe out cwm or will cwm stay?
also, can i do this from odin?
if so,
as long as one can get there device into download mode, they can restore the device correct?
and if thats the case, what are the ways that one may wipe out that portion of the device?
is that part of the bootloader?
or is it part of the kernal,
sorry for such noob questions...
i am really new to rom flashing, but really want to get good at it.
thanks everyone in advance,
ths forum is amazing, and all you people are amazing.
Samsung devices are pretty easy to restore and hard to brick, as long as you have some firmware you can flash through Odin. Download mode should remain intact even if you mess up the bootloader/system.
I haven't looked at the link you provided, but assuming the downloads there are in Odin format, flashing back to stock should be easy as pie.
If however, you don't have Odin flashable firmware, and you ahve soemthign that needs to be flashed via fastboot/recovery, then I'm hoping your recovery is still intact and you can boot to it via Volume Up + Home + Power. If you can get into it, you should be able to load firmware onto a MicroSD card and flash from there.

mishap while flashing back to stock.how/where to get original fw. is it bricked?

i had root per odin + cwm + x-note v5.1 rom. had mj1, but knoxed it 01.
since i wanted to return the device, i wanted to get the original branded firmware. instead of reading a lot of pages (took me quite some
reading to flash a different rom as a noob), i thought i take a short cut and went ahead and pressed reset on the regular settings menu
(thinking, that somewhere on the device the original fw should be stored). i wiped everything off. so after that, while booting up only the
x-logo appeared and nothing else happend. i had to take the battery away to stop it spinning perpetually. i have no clue, but i suppose i
took root away while erasing everything and that's why i can't start the device or pass the booting process.
so here's my question: how to get root again? how to start the device w/o it beeing in this perpetual x-note 5.1 cross? and where to get
the original fw? how to proceed to get back to the original fw? is it definitely bricked? things are getting over my head and i have till tomorrow to fix this problem.
hadn't made a backup. the only backup i have is an efs backup (14mb file). how do i proceed to get back to a branded firmware ? and where
to get it.
any help is appreciated. thx

hi jaythenut,
thanx for your answer, i heard of sammobile. is there another place? and i'm still not aware how to solve my prob> reinstall cwm + the rom
or bypass that and go directly to the other original rom? as of right now, there's just a constant boot. any ideas? in case i would be able
to install a new rom and the device is not bricked, how to unroot after installing the original fw? via supersu? it says permanently
unroot. how permanently is that?

Have you got Cwm on the phone if so just flash a new rom if you want stock this one is stock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2461929
hi jaythenut, i hit the thx button this time.
i've got the fw now. not via sammobile since they had a rapidgator link and it wasn't free. i went into cwm recovery mode and re-installed the x-note 5.1 rom, so now the device is alive and running. good. now, that i got the branded mj1 fw, do i install it via odin or via cwm recovery? as a zip or extracted? and afterwards, when the fw branded rom is back on, how do i unroot the device? with supersu? and how do i delete the cwm itself as i don't want to leave a trace or obvious trace when i go into the shop and try to return it? thx for any input

[Q] Need to download/install stock ROM

Hi,
I'm trying to network unlock my phone, and the company handling it says that it's because I'm using a custom ROM.
So I need to install the stock Touchwiz piece of ****. Can someone direct me to where I can find that? I've had a good look and I've not been able :/
Also, would I just need to boot into recovery, do a data/system wipe, then install from ZIP?
Would me doing that remove Clockworkmod?
Thanks for any help given, I've had a real ****ty time finding a ROM that wasn't paywalled >_>

This will provide you with a 100% stock firmware. Be sure to read the post in it's entirety before commencing with the process!
You will lose EVERYTHING with this, including CWP/TWRP ect so back up any images/contacts/files on your pc, and also try and find the CWM/TWRP or whatever before doing so.
It's hard to find a flash-able "Stock" rom, so I'd suggest doing this, then maybe going back to custom.
Good luck!

Thought Id throw you a reply until some proper answers find you, since I have the same phone but model g361f and the lack of support/development atm drives me mad, my old phone was rooted awesomeness but have to use this, its gift from girlfriend:laugh:Anyway, Forgive me if Im wrong here, just a quick suggestion for you, just going through the ordeals of softbricking myself into the early hours until i succeed myself so I stand to be corrected.
backing up firmware rooted is possible easily I know, but for non root, you can install a custom recovery cant you, so id look into path of using that for some online backup nandroid etc. If you cant get custom recovery forgive me,just my 2 cents edit* just read there having unlocked bootloader may be factor and CWM recovery may not be able to backup fully non rooted, no help at all I know Im sure someone will have a concise option for you,
Personally Id jus titanium backup my data and go for the root head on, but Im here bootlooping because my recovery is not seandroid enforcing,if it had a throat id enforce its seandroid alright and strangle it until it boots, so be safe rather than sorry right?, Im sure its easily done, backing up stock firmware compared to backing up your phones data, if there isnt much difference in terms of what you want to preserve, then just go for it if you mess up just install clean stock rom and restore backup. Good luck anyway

Help flashing and rooting Chinese S5 SM-G9006V

Ok guys, I'm really confused. I got this phone from a friend and the backstory was that it was once rooted and running a custom rom with google play apps, but someone did a hard reset or something and it went back to stock, which is hard to believe, but that's what they're telling me. If the info is correct, that means someone successfully flashed it at some point.
I found this guide https://www.lineageosroms.org/forums/forum/samsung/galaxy-s5-china-sm-g9006v-sm-g9008v-kltechn/ and got stuck right away. I can't get TWRP to work. Odin says it's done, but all I get is the stock recovery.
I found multiple threads about this phone, but it's all very confusing to say the least and I don't know where to begin with. I hope there's someone here using it who can give me some pointers as to how I can flash this thing.
Thanks in advance.
EUREKA! I've done it. All i had to do is uncheck the auto reboot option and use the key combination for entering recovery while still in the download mode. That got me to TWRP and I was able to successfully flash the rom and gapps.
Hope that info is useful to someone else.
