You won't get camera problems or any of those bugs because of TWRP those are mostly kernel bugs.
Are talking about the AOSP Roms for S7E? If so yes that would be the reason for the bugs. Yet it's still kernel related.
I've flashed practically every Rom made for the S7E it's no more difficult than any other Samsung device.

Hello, yesterday i bought used samsung galaxy s7 edge dual, sm-g935fd. It was rooted, owner said root was done to flash a rom to let phone see two sims. Went back home, started to install apps, and saw that snapchat doesnt work with rooted phone, so turned superSU, chose full unroot, phone did restart but stuck on bootloop. All I saw, was csc:g935f0xx1bph1 and pda:G935FXXU1BPLB. Could't find matching pda and csc roms, so installed another, for g935f, and everything worked fine, except from network, it only says emergency calls only and no signal, but it finds that my sim is from tele2.
On other thread i saw that i can use home_csc for my csc code, and any other pda, bl, ap, tried that and odin failed to flash it, so now flashed netherlands stock rom that changed my AP:G935FXXU1DQEF CP:G935FXXU1DQD7 CSC:G935FPHN1DQD1 Model: SM-G935F/DS.
Now trying to install custom rom, but cant install twrp, via odin, i put recovery.img in ap section and my odin freezes all the time, tried to flash recovery.img via adb flash recovery but i forgot all commands i knew and that leads to fail again, now i have a phone that only can boot to stock recovery, or if i flash stock rom via odin, i get it working, but still no signal, can you help me?

Alright, now that my n910g is stuck with that I tried installing some nameless rom and the screen doesn't really work. I need to use Spen always even to click on the dial button.
Can you suggest any good rom for Note 4 N910g?
I really need to give my phone a fresh start as this will be my first time to flash my phone.
Please help!!
Listen, Dr. Ketan's note 5 port L12 with S6 edge features is based on android 5.1.1 Australian "COH4" baseband version. So first download and install that stock firmware having COH4 baseband version using odin. Here's the link for that: www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/56424/N910GDTU1COH4_N910GXSA1COH4_XSA/
And after installing this, root your phone, then install CWM recovery and install dr. Ketan's L12 version rom which you have downloaded. Your phone will work fine after that.
Baseband version of your phone plays a very important role in determining which rom you can install on your phone. For example if u liked and downloaded a samsung stock modified custom rom that has baseband version say "PQR" and suppose if your phone has baseband version "XYZ" then you cannot install that rom on your phone. To install that rom you will first need to flash the stock rom of PQR baseband version in Odin. To check which baseband version your phone is running, go to (settings >> about phone/device >> baseband version). Look at the last 3 or 4 alphabets.

Used coh4 baseband which you said. But could not find the proper root file. Please help with the root and cwm files for 910g which work. Then i will try flashing dr.ketan rom
Yes I tried, now I am using the same baseband you have mentioned which is Australian, now the touch doesn't work well but with s pen it works fine. What to do ?>

Downloaded the stock from from sammobile and my phone was able to boot successfully. But the problem is that ever since, I tried flashing twrp recovery to flash dr.ketan rom which did not work. My phone's touch is really not working well. I have enabled touches in developer options and confirm that my s-pen works fine but when I touch the phone, it gets detected 1 cm below where I actually touch. This problem might have been created when I flashed twrp recovery because that was the first time I saw this issue.
Please help how to fix this ?

Flash different region ROM/modem/fw on imported G935(K)

Hi guys,
Just got a S7 Edge G935K from Korea (Exynos) and I was wondering if I could flash a ROM corresponding to my region (G9350 - Hong Kong), however the model sold here is the Snapdragon one. Are the ROMs chip-specific?
Also the current version on my G935K is G935KKTC1APDA while the latest G9350 ROM I want is G9350ZZH1APB9, would it still be possible to "downgrade"? Or is it safe to at least try without hard/soft bricking?
The only reasons I want to do that is to maybe have wifi-calling enabled (I had it working on my previous phone and the S7E is supposed to have it), get rid of the korean operator boot logo, and change the recovery mode language... well, maybe not worth it, but we are on xda after all.

No. Your device is only for Korea (KT Corporation). Anyway you wanna flash one firmware of other phone model that isn't supported for your device. You will brick your device for sure.
Ok. I wasn't sure if the model names were different region naming only or different hardware too (except the chip). Well everything is working fine except the wifi-calling which i dont really need, so i won't try anything stupid.
Thanks !

So you did flash 3 files out of the package excluding the bootloader ?
What would have happened if you included BL in the sync?

It would fail. I did try this hoping it may work.
Didn't brick or do anything negative, just had to reboot the bootloader and flash without bootloader.
I've installed a stock based custom rom for g935f on my g935k through TWRP, everything went very well...
(separately updated BL and CP with correct files with ODIN though)
Still not sure how it will work with ODIN and a complete 100% stock rom.

But I could not flash BL and CP via ODIN. Could you please explain a little bit more on how did you update BL and CP with correct files with ODIN? (Or is it necessary to flash BL and CP even though the stock based custom ROM seems working fine?)

After flashing a G935F rom in TWRP, I've used the BL and CP (Odin) from the FW update specific to my S7E variant, G935K for me, should be G935L in your case.
(updating BL and CP seems to not be a must, but it was recommended in the thread of the custom rom I'm using)

King Rom v7. I'm considering flashing the v8 or a different rom but I don't have any real issues and battery is still acceptable to me as I charge my phone at night. And I'm lazy to set it up again.
Just in case, and to be clear, for the BL and AP I have flashed the ones from the latest stock rom available for my S7E (K variant) from sammobile, not from the custom rom (Wich is based on F variant)

Thanks a lot for the clarification. Can you give me the link to where i can get the BL and AP for the stock rom of the K variant?
Got it from here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G935K/
You will get the full FW, in Odin select BL and CP only. You can flash them after installing the custom rom (custom rom installed using TWRP)
Edit: BL and CP, not BL and AP

s7 edge screen resolution

Hello I recently updated my galaxy s7 edge to nougat and it couldn't read sim anymore all I got was "emergency calls only" a friend of mine helped he rooted it and downgraded it to marshmallow, now I am stuck on marshmallow I can no longer get OTA updates which means I can't change my screen resolution anymore coz this function seems to be in nougat only any help xda saviours??
why did you get that error in the first place? ?
download a nougat rom from http://sammobile.com and flash it on your device.
take note that you must only download the rom for your particular model. for example if you own a g935f, don't flash a g935fd rom.

I flashed that rom from sammobile the particular one for my sm-g935fd and that's wen the error came on so I am downgraded to marshmallow rooted and stuck here, I loved the adjusting screen resolution on nougat but can't have it anymore
try a TouchWiz based custom rom like super stock rom. I hope it'll work fine on your phone. ?

Downgrade S7 Edge to Marshmallow

Hi, I know this isn't the right forum but I can't publish in another one.
I have a SM-G935F (Exynos), and I don't like Nougat's battery life. So I wanna downgrade to marshmallow. But when I was looking how do that sometimes I had read I need to delete all Google accounts, restore the device, turn off the device, and then do wipe data/factory reset and wipe data cache and turn off again the device, to finally go to the download mode. But I too had read I only turn off the device and put the download mode.
Do I have to do all those things or do the second one?
I don't want to brick my phone.
Downgrading to a previous version might corrupt your IMEI stopping your phone from making and receiving calls, I've learned that the hard way..So better do a thorough research before taking any action.
I too don't like Nougat which makes me go back again and again to a Marshmallow build. I haven't experienced any problem going back to MM from Nougat. I just have to factory reset every time to boot up normally after flashing the MM Rom via Odin. I currently have this build on my phone with Xposed:
i have downgraded my grand 2, s7 edge W8 model multiple times. all i do is shut off the phone put it in download mode, open odin select proper files n then simply flash. note i never changed any odin settings just simply choose the right files.
i have done this with both stock n custom rom installed. never had any issues
also y not try a custom 7.0 rom. batman rom is quite good, well so is ambasadii one. haven't tried any other rom so can't say anything about others.
I Also prefer MM to N by far in terms of battery life. Never had any issues downgrading to MM from N using Odin, no special things to do other than going into download mode and flashing the MM firmware.
Only reason i had to go back to Nougat is that the carrier will cut LTE for MM starting from today (due to signal improvement processes that are not compatible with 6.0.1).
I may consider Flashing back MM and keeping the Modem from Nougat if that works.
I downgraded to Marshmallow and athough it does't seems, the battery life is a lot better in 6.0.1.
I do not like the old Emojis, but i can handle it
Howhever, the performance increases too. I'm so happy with Marshmallow.

Currently I'm on Marshmallow and when I try to update using system update it says your device is up to date. So If I flash Nougat using Odin will I be able to downgrade back to Marshmallow If I don't like Nougat ?

I'm confused now what device do you have? You said j500f in your original post and none of them ROMs are available for j500f.
Also j500f stock rom stops at marshmallow 6.0.1
If it is j500f I'm surprised your device still works after flashing all those wrong files
So is it j500f or j530f?
Make sure you have the exact files downloaded for your specific device or you will have sim issues at the very least
J500 is 2015 model
J530 is 2017 model
Completely different SoC so the software is not compatible
