No, it's Marshmallow 6.0.1.

Why full rom is still unavailable for Fastboot mode ?

How can i install this with TWRP and keep TWRP and keep root and keep my unencrypted internal storage?

Is it rooted or my Mi Max root will be gone, thanks

Well, full ROM is not rooted, that's for sure. If you want to install it, do a backup before with TWRP on Micro SD. It is very recomended. If something goes wrong then you can restore your system.
For CLEAN INSTALL, on Mi Max 3/32 GB, I followed theese steps. By doing this, you will loose all your previously apps and data:
1. Download and Copy full ROM from first post on Micro SD (miui_MIMAXGlobal_V8.1.6.0.MBCMIDI_1e6706b520_6.0.zip).
2. Download and Copy SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip on Micro SD. Can be found here: download.chainfire.eu/1021/SuperSU/SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip?retrieve_file=1
3. Download and Copy Install lazyflasher-no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip (a script to disable dm-verity and forced encryption) on Micro SD. Can be found here: en.miui.com/thread-310923-1-1.html
4. Boot into TWRP.
5. Mount System, Data, Cache, Internal Storage, Micro SD.
6. Advanced WIPE -> Select Dalvik/ART Cache, System, Data, Cache, Internal Storage. Swipe to WIPE.
7. Install miui_MIMAXGlobal_V8.1.6.0.MBCMIDI_1e6706b520_6.0.zip from Micro SD.
8. Install SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip from Micro SD.
9. Install lazyflasher-no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip from Micro SD.
10. WIPE DALVIK & CACHE.
11. Reboot to System.
If device automatically reboot after step 8, reboot again in TWRP (by continuously pressing Power + Volume Up until vibrate and then release and wait for TWRP) and continue with step 9, 10 and 11.
Wait 10-20 min for first boot and continue with system setup. You will have SuperSU installed.
This worked for me, but I'm NOT responsible for your actions.

Tried it, still on Android 6. Not much different.
Will try the beta 7.2.16.

Hi there,
I can not install any version of MultiRom.me ROM, except this one v8.0.1.0 Global Stable. Here is the detail of my weird issue.
A. What do you have?
Mimax 3/32GB with working TWRP 3.0.3-0
https://dl.twrp.me/hydrogen/twrp-3.0.3-0-hydrogen.img
v8.0.1.0 Global Stable ROM flashable .zip file (1)
http://ua.multirom.me/MROTA/STABLE/V8/V8.0/multirom_MIMAX_V8.0.1.0.MBCCNDG_v6.0.1_b13_e685363f8e.zip
v8.2.2.0 Global Stable ROM flashable .zip file (2)
https://vroms2fe7lh.multirom.me/MRO...AX_V8.2.2.0.MBCCNDL_v6.0.1_b24_8c9ad51076.zip
SuperSU 2.79 flashable .zip file (3)
https://download.chainfire.eu/1021/SuperSU/SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip
B. What process did you use?
Booted to TWRP
Wiped fully (system, data, cache, davik cache)
Installed ROM (saved in USB OTG)
Installed SuperSU (saved in USB OTG)
Wiped Cache & Davik Cache
Rebooted
C. What is your issue?
If I used the combo (1), (3) and process (B), everything worked well w/o any problem. But,
If I used the combo (2), (3) and process (B), it could not boot up. The Mi logo lighted on in 1s and shutdown immediately later whenever I pressed power button.
In addition, I could not boot into TWRP too.
Now I've been in rom (1) with working TWRP, and still could not flash rom (2).
Kindly help me explain it and show me how to solve this issue.
Thanks and Best Regards,
[email protected]

Hello,
I tried to download v8.2.2.0 Global Stable ROM flashable .zip (2) but I could not access the file (forbidden). So I have no way to test the installation.
Try this:
1. Boot into TWRP.
2. Wipe (system, data, cache, davik cache and internal storage).
3. Install ROM.
4. Go to Mount -> Select , Deselect and Select againSystem. Let it selected.
5. Go to Advanced -> File Manager -> Go to System folder. In root of System it's a file: recovery-from-boot.p. Delete it. In this way, you will not loose TWRP.
6. Go back and install SuperSU.
7. Wipe Cache & Davik Cache.
8. Reboot.
It is possible for the device to auto reboot 2-3 times until the system will load.
See if this will help you.

Not possible to do a complete backup under Recovery TWRP

Hello everyone.
I am new owner of an S7 Edge and so I root it is ok!
I have installed a recovery version 3.0.2.4 this is ok too but I have a concern to make a full backup.
1 - When starting recovery I have a screen that says "Installing zips or operations via adb may change the system partition".
2 - When I want to do a backup I have these 03 options that are checked.
Booting
System
Data
But when I drag to make this backup I have error messages
Here are the images to better understand.
I think I have forgotten something, could you orient me please?
Thank you for your help.
encrypted data...... so if you want do a backup try out flashfire......
Working fine with flashfire !!
But there is still the solution of real recovery?
How to decrypt the data?
To make a backup?
Thanx !
1. Reboot to TWRP, Wipe > Format Data > Type 'yes'. This will wipe all the data on your phone including internal storage.
2. Don't reboot, and flash either SuperSU or one of the zips from here (latest version would be preferred). Since you have to wipe your internal storage in the previous step, put the zip in your external sdcard beforehand or flash it through adb sideload if you know how to.
Be careful when flashing stock firmware with odin, as it will automatically encrypt your device again. After you flash stock firmware, reboot directly into download mode again, flash TWRP, reboot to TWRP, and then follow step 2.
Hi !
I will download a stock rom in case of problem and I come back to give the results.
Big thanks !!! :good: :good:

Boot loop op5 after oos 5.0.1 flash through twrp.

I followed the following steps to flash oos 5.0.1 :
1. Update TWRP to the latest Codeworkx TWRP from the link posted
2. Reboot Recovery and Take a Nandroid of your existing ROM just in case you need it
3. Wipe > Advance Wipe > Select Dalvik & Cache > Swipe to Wipe
4. Install Menu > Select OOS 5.0.1 Full Rom Zip > Swipe to Flash
5. Flash Magisk 15.2 (Recommended for Root)
6. Wipe Dalvik & Cache
7. Reboot Recovery to make sure TWRP stays
8. Reboot System once recovery boots again.
i did this on my op5 rooted and encrypted .
so i followed all the steps precisely but in the end when i tried to boot into system it bootlooped (waited for hours to see if it really takes time on first boot). also when i open file manager in twrp it just shows weird long file names .
Yes I experienced the same thing too. I presume it's a problem with decryption after the update. I had removed all lockscreen security before updating (for nandroid). Maybe it was due to that? Would like someone to elaborate too.

As your device is encrypted so first you need to decrypt it so for that just boot into twrp select wipe and select format data and type yes as it will for format your entire data including internal storage... the most first step is to backup your internal storage in pc and apps through titanium backup and save that in pc and later decrypt it once your device is decrypted just enable MTP in twrp and copy files in storage and flash it.

Here is the simplest one for you
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/official-oxygen-os-5-0-problems-rooted-t3724616
Format data is must required for booting.
I was also rooted and encrypted using 4.5.15 and this is the method I followed and it worked:
Downloaded OnePlus5Oxygen_23_OTA_028_all_1801031502_04d7cc5. zip, twrp-3.2.1-0-universal-codeworkx-cheeseburger.img and Magisk-v15.3.zip.
Rebooted to TWRP and installed the Codeworkx TWRP using the Install->Image option inside TWRP.
Rebooted to TWRP again to make sure that my TWRP was updated.
Entered WIPE from TWRP main menu and used the 'Format' option to Format the Data and typed 'Yes'
This deleted my Internal Storage so I had to backup everything beforehand.
Then used advanced wipe to wipe Cache and Dalvik.
Mounted the internal storage by using the Mount option from TWRP main menu.
I was having problem copying files to the internal storage so I rebooted TWRP and the problem was fixed.
Copied the OnePlus full update and Magisk zip file.
Installed the OnePlus full update and Wiped Cache and Dalvik and rebooted the device to make sure that the OS boots.
Then rebooted the device to fastboot to flash Codeworkx TWRP again because it was unavailable.
Booted into TWRP and flashed Magisk.
I am now on Oreo and I hate the way Ambient Display looks right now.

Im not sure what instructions are you talking about but this isnt the first time i root my device.
Im using TWRP 3.2.1 since the last version giving me a little problems when trying to root. Im using the last magisk version.
About dirty or clean.. I first tried just flashing nornal from the OTA and then after it worked (no wifi or LTE) i tried to do factory reset and root again

Try flashing this first https://sourceforge.net/projects/cheeseburgerdumplings/files/16.0/cheeseburger/recovery/
Download ota again and clean flash it from the recovery.
It might be because your TWRP isn't compatible to Pie. Most people here including me tried codework's TWRP and it solved any of our issues.
Edit: after flashing magisk reboot your phone once more. (i didn't knew it before. I booted into my os and checked magisk app to see if root was successfull but it didn't show me. I wiped everything down and flashed magisk again. Same thing happened. Rebooted my phone and saw root was on )

I would suggest do a complete clean install (wiping everything but USB OTG) and making sure you got the latest TWRP from blu_spark or codeworkx. Also flash it following these instructions:
[Clean Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery:
- Download the full ROM zip from the downloads section above
- Transfer the zip to the root of your device's internal storage
- Only needed if you are coming from Oreo or if you use an old TWRP recovery that's not the latest and Pie compatible: Remove the compatibility.zip from the downloaded full ROM zip with either MiXplorer or Total Commander (not with any other tool!) on your device itself
- Reboot to TWRP recovery (make sure you're using siankatabg's TWRP if you're on Oreo or codework's TWRP/blu_spark TWRP if you're on Pie) and take a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
- Flash Magisk Uninstaller (recommended)
- From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache, cache, system, vendor and data> Swipe to wipe
- From the TWRP menu, Install > Select full ROM zip (modified one with compatibility.zip removed, in case you're on Oreo or unmodified one, in case you're on Pie) > Swipe to flash
- Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
- From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache and cache > Swipe to wipe
- Optional: If you wish to decrypt, format data via TWRP (please note that wiping the data partition, which we did in the 5th step above, is not the same as formatting it) and after that flash Disable DM-Verity and ForceEncrypt 2.0 (OP5-5T-Treble).zip from here
- Reboot

i ended up giving up..
im trying to do a clean flash
but the moment i flash the recovery and trying to go into the recovery
boom
black screen
i tried it multiple times both with codework 3.2.3 and blu_spark
Edit: Flash universal codework 3.2.1 does get me into recovery
im gonna restore my backup...for now

No, it wont because all of that is stored in the Internal Storage. So as long as you don't check that, you will still have your data. However, I personally wipe everything including the internal storage when moving to a new rom. I prefer to start with a complete clean slate but it is optional.

How does one go about installing a GSI ROM on the Realme 2 Pro?

Hi!
Could someone please give a step-by-step guide as to how one would go about installing a GSI ROM on the Realme 2 Pro (4GM RAM version)?
And which ROM do I download, A only, or A/B? Is it ARM 64?
I had tried once before, and messed up.
Hoping someone is able to help me out here.
Thanks!

So I decided to try this out. And once I swiped to reboot, it showed "No OS installed. Do you want to continue?". When I restored from my backup, it would boot up, reach the homescreen, and the immediately restart. I have no idea what more I can do now.
Do you flow these script carefully?just extract havoc os zip,you will get havoc system img then just flash image file to system, then install nano gapps, then wipe cache & delvik cache with data just swipe for reboot, you can go perfect.
Get any ARM64 a only GSI rom. Our device only support ARM64 a format.
1 Put system image wherever sutable to you.
2. Take a full system backup.
3. Go to wipe and just swipe to factory reset.
4. Click on install and select system image and flash that image in system partition.
5. After flashing just reboot.
Process is simple.

So I tried this, and still did not manage to get it working. In fact I somehow managed to completely brick my phone, where I could neither access the OS, nor the bootloader. I had to take it to the service centre.
I even tried flashing the vendor zip file. But to no avail.
Is there perhaps a video which show the steps from top to bottom, starting at the bootloader unlock? (I want to make sure I'm not really messing that up either)

[Clean Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery:
Download the full ROM zip from the downloads section above
Transfer the zip to the root of your device's internal storage
Only needed if you are coming from Oreo or if you use an old TWRP recovery that's not the latest and Pie compatible: Remove the compatibility.zip from the downloaded full ROM zip with either MiXplorer or Total Commander (not with any other tool!) on your device itself
Reboot to TWRP recovery (make sure you're using siankatabg's TWRP if you're on Oreo or codework's TWRP/blu_spark TWRP if you're on Pie) and take a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
Flash Magisk Uninstaller (recommended)
From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache, cache, system, vendor and data> Swipe to wipe
From the TWRP menu, Install > Select full ROM zip (modified one with compatibility.zip removed, in case you're on Oreo or unmodified one, in case you're on Pie) > Swipe to flash
Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache and cache > Swipe to wipe
Optional: If you wish to decrypt, format data via TWRP (please note that wiping the data partition, which we did in the 5th step above, is not the same as formatting it) and after that flash Disable DM-Verity and ForceEncrypt 2.0 (OP5-5T-Treble).zip from here
Reboot
