My Samsung E5 with android 5.1
unable to connect wifi at link speed of 135 mbps.
it only connect at 72 mbps, other android phones
1. micromax a110 ( 5 year old phone) connects at 135 mbps at HT40 mhz
2. huawei honor 2 plus also connects at 135 mbps at HT40 mhz
i use TP link 841n v11 router running latest beta DDWRT.
only my Samsung is connecting at 72mbps HT20SGI mhz.
i even tried stock kitkat, but no solution.
i know 72 mbps is good but my internet is 75mbps fibernet, unable to use full potential.
even old phone connect at higher speed, but my new E5 cant.

I have just got a new broadband contract with O2, here in the UK.
I have a wireless Box IV (4 in roman numerals) which supports wireless N.
My phone is connecting to this wireless box at 65mbps. I had expected it to connect significantly faster, because wirelss N supports up to 300mbps.
Can anyone tell me what the fastest wifi N signal available on the phone is?
Thanks!
James
Mine is consistent @ 65Mbps also.
Never seen mine higher than 65 mbps.
Using an AP D-Link DAP 2553 (Wifi N 300 mbps max) at 2.4 GHz
As far as I know the fastest available Wireless N-chip on any phone is 65mbps. If what I've read is correct this is because phones only have 1 WiFi antenna and speeds higher than 65mbps requires multiple antennas (google "MIMO").
is the galaxy s 2 Draft-N or 5.0GHZ N ?
Thanks guys. Ok, it's good to know it's not a problem with something.

I don't understand your question, SGS2 is dual band (2.4GHz N and 5.0 GHz N).
N-draft is gone since a long time ago, the N-draft standard was approved so basically all units sold as N draft is also "pure" N. But support for 5 GHz is always optional.
65mbps also.
Hi all,
I am getting only 86 Mbps near my Router, whatever setting I play with. On 2.4 I am getting 65 Mbps.
My 2x2 Ultrabook [Yoga 900], just besides the phone, gets 866 Mbps.
Anyone getting good speeds using the mate 8 or are we all in this together?
My phone has the latest B320 firmware.
I'm getting 210mbps in Normal mode and 180mbps in Intelligent mode.
Hi there
I own a mate 8 also, l29 varriant, my wifi speed is 200mb on a RT-AC1200G+. Curent room is stock b180. My friend who owns a s6 edge took the same speed test from my router and got 400mb+, so i dont know what is up with that but acording to "anandtech.com/show/9878/the-huawei-mate-8-review/9", with the new broadcom chipset ported to this device the speed should be 300+ . I dont know im not a programer but maybe it is limited by the software.
I always seem to get 65mbps on 2.4GHz regardless what speed the AP is. On 5GHz I normally get about 180mbps (this was connecting to an Apple base station)
Hi.
I am getting 50 to 70 Mbit/s wifi speed with my Le Pro 3 Al.
How come i can't get any faster wifi speed ?
And how fast wifi speed do you get in 2.4 and 5.2 Ghz with your Le Pro 3 ?
90.7 Mbps down and 10.6 Mbps up on my x722 on 5 GHz. Tested with the Amplifi app (for Amplifi routers only). But there are a lot of factors at play when it comes to Internet connectivity. Like the speed testing website or app you're using, as well as your proximity to your router.
My router is about 10 feet away from me. If my router was in the living room (I'm upstairs), I would be at around 30 to 50 Mbps down right now.
Also, add peak times for your ISP to the list of factors. My ISP (Rogers)'s peak times are in the evening. That's when everyone here is streaming Youtube and Netflix in HD. Some ISPs will throttle you during certain times too.
Another factor could be your Mediatek processor and your device's WiFi chipset. When it comes to wireless or LTE, Qualcomm has it down pat. I saw that the Pro3 AI does have MU-MiMO and two-stream WiFi like its Snapdragon counterparts, but I can't find any official specs on it.
Have you tested other Android devices on your WiFi connection? You'll know if it's just your device with those speeds then.
Because of some other Samsung specific WiFi 5 GHz connection problems, I've done some Speedtest.net testing with my current four Android mobile devices.
Devices: SM-T825, SM-T815, Xperia X Compact F5321, LG V30 H930; Network 5 GHz ac; internet 200/20 Mbps;
Comparing tests on the same home network to the same Speedtest.net server I noticed that while the ping was similarly low on all my devices, the SM-T825 had consistently Jitter values of 35 to 60, while all the others had between 1 and 5.
The other WiFi connection problem was with both Samsung tablets: recurring dead link (I think uplink , ??) when the 5 GHz was set to strictly AC. The aging T815, my main gaming device, had dead uplinks on 5 GHz mostly when in standby for a time, but my brand new T825 surprised me with dead link while connected, too. The Sony and LG have no such proplems.
Now I switched my router to 5 GHz mixed (a,n,ac), maybe that helps.
Not sure if anyone else is having the same problem but on my A9 Pro (Android 8.0) the Max speed is 55 Mbps (both Download and Upload). My connection speed is 150 Mbps and I get that on my laptop consistently. It’s been over a year now and so I finally decided to post on this and hoping someone has a solution for this.
Please help!!
Thank you.
