System, data, cache partition unable to mount - Spice Dream Uno

system, data, cache partition is unable to mount. Also erased twrp recovery while trying to fix it by reinstalling recovery. No OS but fastboot is working. Not able to install recovery from fastboot but was able to temporarily boot into twrp by using "fastboot boot twrp.img". From there i was able to see the internal storage files. I tried repairing system partition from the twrp repair option. But didn't worked.
I also tried flashing using sp flash tool but phone is not detected by the tool.
Plz help!!!
anyone any suggestion to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

I can't understand what you mean. If you want to install stock rom from TWRP recovery, you have to modify updater-skript.
Why do you can install only the twrp recovery 2.8.7.7, when we have the twrp recovery 3.0.0.2
File img you can flash from fastboot mode. Commands:
fastboot flash system file.img
fastboot flash recovery file.img
fastboot flash boot file.img
or
fastboot boot file.img for example twrp recovery img or stock recovery img. This is command for once booting.
I want to return to original firmware , i download it from the site of asus. So, i booted twrp in fastboot mode (i tried different version of twrp, but the only that starts is the 2.8.7.7 version) using adb.
Now i am in recovery with twrp 2.8.7.7. I can push using .zip files or img files on internal storage.
But i have different problems with this recovery:
IF i use wipe function: error opening sys, could not mount, enabe to mount, ... (failed)
If i install rom or firmware with zip files: error unable to mount, unable to find partition for path.... (failed)
Adb sideload goes failed too.
What should i do???
I think that the problem is in the internal partition... I have to install using a min usb ext storage? or what????? thanks :fingers-crossed:

Easiest way to fix your phone is flash stock rom from stock recovery. Stock rom put to sd card. Reboot to stock recovery and choose flash rom from sd card. New version number system must be the same or higher than installed in the phone.
Do you want to return to the lower version of Android.

Stock recovery doesn't work man. The only recovery that works is the twrp 2.8.7.7. But it has problems.

Do you have Lollipop or Marshmallow and what is your version number.
For Marshmallow you need to this working twrp recovery.

If you haven't installed stock recovery, it's not no problem. You can it flash from fastboot mode.
i had mawshmallow. i tried but failed...

How did you flash the file twrp.img.
OK guys I've solved the problem. I moved in this way:
1) Volume up + power to go in fastboot mode
2) after installing adb and the other drivers, i've insered these commands:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase system
3) after downloading twrp version 3.0.0 (for the zenfone 2 laser), I load it using the command "fastboot boot (name file twrp).zip"
4) the recovery starts automatically. Now i downloaded the file "back2stock.zip" and the original firmware (WW, worldwide) form the official site of the Asus
5) this passage is the most important:using 7zip I've extracted the file zip of the firmware and the backtostock, then i created a new file using 7zip : in this new zip i've loaded the files inside back2stock and the files file_contentexts, system.new.dat, system.patch.dat, boot.img e system.trasfer.list inside the zip of the official firmware
6) I've loaded this new file on the phone using the command "adb push (new file name).zip /"
7) at last i have installed this file on the phone ENJOY it

Hard Bricked!

Hi,
My devices is stuck on Mi logo, it was not Bootloop, it cant reboot to EDL, sometimes my devices can go to Fasboot mode but sometimes cant, while in fastboot mode I check in the Device drivers section theres no Qualcomm blablabla but the only available is Android Bootloader Interface and when I try to flash my phone via Mi Flash Tool I cant because my devices is not detected, What should I do? :crying:
1. My device is already unlocked
2. Before this I was flashing RR, and it was just fine, then I try to boot to my TWRp but it seems I cant, then I install TWRP and it just works fine, then I want to flash new rom, then I qipe dalvik cache, cache, system, and data then it shows error "partitions blablabla" then I try to factory reset in TWRP, its done its job, then I try to flash the new rom but when I pick "sdcard" (internal storage) it was blank! then I check "sdcard1" (external memory) it was blank too! then I just reboot (it says no OS installed, I just swipe then it stuck on MI Logo).
3. I have tried some tricks to recover it but It cant! (I still didn't tries deep flash cable or either test point method because I don't know how to do that)
4. My devices Is Detected when I typed "fastboot devices" in cmd but not detected in MiFlash Tool.
Please how do I fix this problem?? please help me as soon as possible!!
Thanks.
Help me!
Please someone answers me! :crying:
Since your device is showing in fastboot, flash TWRP again from fastboot. Copy ROM and GApps to external SD card and boot into TWRP. Wipe dalvik, cache, data, system, and internal storage. Flash new ROM, GApps reboot.
If you get any errors while wiping partitions then format the partitions to f2fs or anything then again back to ext4.
Hope this helps!!!
Cheers ?

Yeah. This is not a hard brick. You can also reflash miui from fastboot. Extract that tgz file of miui and click on one of the batch files.

[ZE550KL] Can't Unlock bootloader/ install twrp/ install any rom

Hi,
My ZE550KL was locked in boot with this message: "Security Error: This phone has been flashed with an unauthorized software & is locked", so i followed some tutorials and was able to install TWRP recovery (i had bootloader already unlocked). Then when trying to reinstall stock rom, i realized i had to reinstall the stock recovery. I did it and installed the stock rom with version matching with the stock recovery i installed(UL-Z00L-WW-1.17.40.1531-user). Everything was going ok, but when my newly installed stock rom was popping multiple apps stopped working an i was unable to basically do anything. So i tried reinstalling stock rom again, but this is when things collapsed. As i entered recovery to reinstall the rom, it has lots of errors from partition cache
Code:
E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
. This same errors happens when i try to wipe it from the recovery, but when i erase the cache partition on fastboot it says "OK". I also tried to reinstall twrp, but apparently my bootloader was blocked again, and it says it is flashed when i try, but when rebooting it boots again on stock recovery.
So i tried just booting twrp, but then it says my bootloader is blocked and can't boot twrp. Also tried sideloading stock rom from adb, but it gets the same cache partition errors. I tried
Code:
fastboot -w
and it says OK but the cache partition errors are still there. I also tried
Code:
fastboot erase ASDF
and i get some errors.
TLDR; I'm stuck at a cycle where i have to remount cache and all other partitions via TWRP, but i can't install TWRP because my bootloader got locked again and i can't unlock it because i need to install some rom to do it, but since my cache partition is destroyed i can't install anything, neither via fastboot on pc nor from recovery on the phone.
Did you tried the unoffical unlock way? It can done via PC in fastboot mode. Also did you tried `fastboot format system` kind of commands?

Damn! I just noticed that you will need to be in system to gain root access. I guess then it won't work. I suggest to try `fastboot format system/userdata/cache` way as it fixed my issues with partitions multiple times.
Here you go for unoffical guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ze...de-unlock-bootloader-asus-unlock-app-t3405850

It's because you don't have any recovery or ROM on your device. Try flashing stock recovery.

How to use edl mode to flash Mi A1 that was already treblized

I recently used ported Treble Android P Rom by JoeyHuab.
One day, the phone hung. I hard reset it
Boom, the phone got stuck in Google Splash Screen.
Then I tried going to TWRP, and it also stuck in TWRP Splash screen.
Then I tried to flash in edl using Miflash
- sometimes it succeeds but the nothing is changed after I boot and the condition is the same
- sometimes when I flash in edl in a different computer, it fails with ACK count don't match.
When I took partition information in fastboot, the treble partitioning is still seen.
I sometimes succeed in booting to TWRP but internal storage is 0mb. No mounting or formating success.
Is my eMMC busted???
Just flash a rom when u can access TWRP

Cannot Load TWRP. Sometimes when TWRP eventually loads (normal TWRP not the one supporting treble), internal partition is 0mb size. Cannot mount or format either.
All the partitions from ported android P rom are detected in fastboot. Just there is no option to remove the vendor partitions.
I think the vendor partitions are causing errors when using miflash

Use adb side load when you boot into twrp keep the ROM in your PC and then open cmd , connect your phone to USB and then go to advanced - adb side load . after that type adb side load ROM name . zip and then ROM will flash and then flash twrp in we ways . adb side load twrp installer name .zip and then reboot . and then 0 mb problem should go . flash gapps and magisk and then boot
