You need the oms commits build into the rom. As the stock rom is stock, you cannot modify it as its source isn't available. So you need to build from an open source. That's why only custom roms can provide additional features like full substratum support.
I dont see it happening.
No, because needs the OMS support and and this is added when the rom is cooking, maybe it can be a custom ROM with this support, but would not be a stock ROM, would be a custom ROM too (based in stock).

Just wondering if there has been any headway on getting Android Pay working with AOSP based ROMs.
I know we can root/unroot, etc the stock ROM to get it working, but has anyone done the process with an AOSP ROM? (like PureNexus, Chroma, etc)
Thanks in advance.

I am also interested in having my android pay working with custom aosp rom
Was about to ask this question, but saw there is already a thread. I presume Android Pay will not work on a Custom ROM due to changes made to the /system partition. Curious if that assumption is correct.
I am planning to build my own custom stock ROM, I need help with a few things..!
1)I want to make a prerooted deodexed stock ROM - So my question is from Base ROM of the latest new build, how and where do i find that. I have an idea of how to deodex the ROM, but suggestions are welcomed. Also, if I make a new ROM, from fully stock, how do i make it prerooted with no bugs at all using the latest TWRP recovery.
a) SO, according to my thinking..I will obviously need a fully stock Marshmallow ROM with the latest build, I will root it and then copy the whole ROM to my folder and edit from that? Is that what has to be done? If no..plz assist.
2)I like to use fonts - so I want my ROM to have it pre-installed with a beautiful font
3)Battery tweak - I need some help in building a build.prop file,
4)Performance - I need to make this ROM as stable as it is stock, so i really don't mind to make the performance a little faster.
5)I wanted to also install some good theme pre-installed in my ROM, so would it be possible? if yes how to do it.
I have a basic idea on how to build a ROM, i just need someone to help me with this and whoever can help, will definitely get all the credits
a) we can definitely work together and keep building this ROM for more performance.
b)We will also try to update it with the latest builds as and when required.
SO, someone who is really willing to help are all welcomed
Hoping someone can help me build a ROM for our beloved Moto X play.
110 views and no one ready to help me make a stock ROM...strange..!!
I want to make a rom too as what u r proposing here but I m totally newbie.I understand the logic how things work but I dont know the process how to make it work.So if I want to help you ,I cant due to lack of my knowledge.Though if u think then we can work together.

I want to (try to) make an AOSP 5.0 ROM to use with stock kernel on my phone, because I can't use custom ROMs (freeze when bootloader is unlocked) and stock Lollipop is a great sh*t, but I don't know what I need to start to build this ROM. Anyone could help me?

I try to use device tree and vendor from this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...w-to-compile-roms-zenfone-5-x86-chip-t3312889
But it's strange, the source seems small... This is all I need to start building?
(I already have Ubuntu with all needed packages)
LineageOS with OMS and Radon kernel integrated
This is not my work, I am just sharing so that more people get to know about these amazing builds.
The legendary kernel dev for Kenzo, @Umang96 has been uploading unofficial builds of LineageOS on a quite regular basis, and they are essential for anyone who wants the stability of LineageOS, but also needs theming support with Substratum OMS, and wouldn't mind amazing performance.
Features
The ROM is same as official LineageOS except it also has the following additions
Integrated Radon kernel
Full OMS support
Improvements for smooth scrolling
Toggleable VoLTE icon
Inbuilt CM root
Faster unlocking
Network meter in status bar
Easy toggle quick tiles and autobrightness toggle
Improved signal strength
Fingerprint unlock after reboot
Camera and video recording fixes
Inbuilt busybox
Ad free hosts file
Faster autorotate
Option to disable screenshot sound
Screen record in power menu
Better automatic brightness tuning
Old LineageOS gallery, which is much faster than newer one
The Radon kernel was the first, and in my humble opinion, remains the best and the most optimized kernel for our device. The developer is extremely experienced with our phone.
I have used all the best Nougat ROMs, but the smoothness, stability, battery life with this are unmatched.
You can download the latest version of Radon kernel and reflash it with any settings of your choice if you don't like the stock settings, but I personally just use the ROM with the default settings out of the box.
Downloads
You can view the changelog and download the latest build at
https://github.com/los-kenzo/downloads
The latest build is from 10/05/2017
The flashing and updating procedure is same as official LineageOS.
Caution
The ROM is a unified build for FPC and Goodix fingerprint, please don't flash any patch.
The latest builds of LineageOS require you to have updated bootloader and firmware, or else, you will face bootloops, and might not even be able to install due to errors while flashing.
To avoid this, please flash the appropriate MIUI firmware for your phone variant by TheStrix in this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70660323&postcount=2
I would love to have your opinion on the builds, and any suggestions for improving this thread.

You can try dirty flash over LineageOS, because this ROM is not modified much, but have a backup of your apps in case you get any issues and have to clean flash.
You should give feedback and suggestions to @Umang96 on the Radon thread.

I can't really say anything about Goodix, because I have FPC and it works perfectly, but the status is the same as official LineageOS, it doesn't work out of the box.
You can try flashing a patch and reflashing Radon kernel, and selecting Goodix.
Though @Umang96 said he'll be implementing unified Goodix and FPC support soon. Maybe you should wait for that, or use a ROM like Nitrogen OS which supports unified FP.

Cool, thanks for your time, I'll be flashing this build now . As for goodix, I have it working with some patches in official LOS so I'll be doing the same with this ROM and hope it's implemented out of the box in the near future. Cheers and thanks again!!
I Flashed the last build(21/04) with goodix patch XOSP then radón Kernel 4.4 but there is a bug with the temperature sensor I guess
Awesome Rom, i have the 2gb version and has a great ram management,
It's the best for me so far.
Thank you very much!!!
Comparison between stock LOS, and Umang96's LOS. Umang96's LOS is just so much better

How to install other kernel?
Hi, as the LOS ROMs do not support the OP 5's camera features (as far as I understood) I will maybe stay on an OOS based ROM. My main problem is the lack of OMS support. Is there any ROM with OMS support or is it even possible to merge OMS into OOS?

From my knowledge its not possible for devs to add OMS to OOS because its not open source. Only oneplus could add OMS.
But it look like with the release of OOS Oreo, which should be within the next month(s), we will get full substratum support on OOS.

Maybe not 100% but good enough for. I'm using it now.
Flux works with
• Android Nougat stock/legacy and custom roms
• Android Oreo stock/legacy and custom roms
• Andromeda stock rootless
• OxygenOS 3/3T/5 with native color accent support (needs root)
- Samsung (currently not working but support will come soon)
? Themed apps
Many system and third party apps are themed.
The list is too big to add it in the description.
? Don't forget to rate and write a review if you like Flux, enjoy!

Try the PureFusionOS :good: based on AOSP, really smooth (sometimes better than OOS), best custom rom for OP5 imho.. and of course has fully working OOS cam, you wont regret
