Pc dont recognizing phone, usb cable is good because when i connecting the charging icon appears. I checked in other pc (in both there is windows 7), I download the last version of usb drivers from official site, i download the last version of Kies3 and it still no connecting. Before upgrade i havent this issue, i also checked other usb cable (both cables are original). I searching for hour any solution, activate developer options and check "usb debugging", also i wrote *#0808# and check mtp (i also tried other options, no result) or I tried launch vol down + power + home, also dont help. So i give up and now i`m hope some hi-tech wizard will tell where i making mistake...
After hours spending on wasting time with this usb connect i started to think about change soft, but here appears another issue... I havent root, and superuser. That is not a finish of trouble! I noticed that i have recovery 3e with some kind of error "e: signature verification failure" when i trying to flash any other soft or custom recovery! I searching for some tips on web, but in all options i allways impended whatever i try: when i try use Rom Manager there is error i havent su, when i try activate SuperSu there is error i havent root, when i try install CWM by MobileOdin there is error i am not su... when i try other aps like Framaroot there is error #5, also in Rom Manager i have info that my Rom doesnt support OTA, when i try change recovery file in System/bin folder by RootExplorer there is again error "u havent root"! I'll go crazy by this trap!
Anyone have any ideas? Please help me :crying:

I see the problems are in Windows 7. The USB Conector seems ok. Untick "usb debugging" in ur phone and take a look this page. If dont appears nothing in the device manager, tell me it and i will give ya other solution
EDIT: Other option is:
- Uninstall completely Kies and Kies 3
- Reboot ur pc
- Download the latest version of Kies 3 (drivers are included, only tc what u select in the installation -> dont untick them)
- Conect ur phone to the pc with the USB conector and wait coz the drivers have to be installed. Till Windows dont finish of install them u dont need touch nothing. Good luck
I'm suprised that three peoples trying to help me, thats charming, thank you.
But...
Repulsa I've done what u wrote, I tried plugging s4 to another usb port, one port usb 2.0 and another usb 3.0, always was the same situation, the charging start coming but nothing more, there is no notification on phone screeon or on the pc. Also I tried do this in second pc, in 3 usb ports, but always was the same. After that I tried that what Repulsa and jaswinsky says, i re-install kies. First I uninstall in both pc kies, and i install the kies 3, I reboot my pc and I reboot my s4. Nothing new happens, only charging. Here i want to turn your attention that, I checked in both pc's my younger brothers Galaxy s2, and it havent any problems with connecting! If I plugging Galaxy s2 in this usb ports in both pc, windows 7 havent any problem to recognize phone! Kies and "My Computer" shows the device memory and its working. When I after that disconect s2 and plug in my s4 the same situation happens. Only charging icon, and nothing appears about connection.
After that i tried that what Joku1981 wrote, I untisck "usb debugging" in developer options and i checked the device manager, but there doesnt appears anything. There is not "other device" warning or anything like that. Charging icon appears but pc dont recognizing s4. I would also like to point out that, yesterday I've done with younger brother the format on one of this pc's with hope that will helps but, we format pc, reinstall windows7, reinstall all drivers, and the situation is still the same.
Please help me!
PS. I'm starting think about that the official OTA update do 4.4 will solve the issue..
Hi Everyone, In an attempt to fix my bricked device with all necessary flash files and drivers installed perfectly, my device is being detected under 'HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE' as a 'USB INPUT DEVICE' in device manager, according to what i read, my device is suppose to display or be detected as "qulacom HS-USB qloader 9008" under com port. but that isn't happening, i repaired the drivers, re-installed them, formatted my pc and tried it on fresh windows installation. but still the problem is there. i even tried it on several computers but it still detects as USB INPUT DEVICE under Human Interface Devices in device manager. Now i am stuck here with my device dead for the past two weeks. please any one with an idea how to fix this issue?
i will be deeply grateful. Thanks!!

Actually my device doesn't even come on for me to do all that you said, i tried repairing drivers and all that but it still detects as USB INPUT DEVICE under HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICES. i need my device to detect as qualcomm device before GNQC downloader can detect it. my issue is very different here. because GNQC can't see my device since my device is not being detected the rightful way after all. i will deeply appreciate the solution. Thanks

MSM8994DownloadTool.exe Won't Work For Me
I need help.
My phone is stuck on the fastboot screen, meaning I can only Power if off and into Fastboot (using the Vol+ and Power buttons). Other than that, it does nothing. I cannot get into the OS at all, which means I can't enable USB debugging or anything. Fastboot recognizes my device, which is a OnePlus Two), but ADB won't, nor will my Windows 7 PC as a USB device. With that in mind, I followed all the steps in the posted guide. I get all the way to running the "MSM8994DownloadTool.exe" and nothing happens. Its as if the Recovery Tool doesn't even see my device. So, I'm really stuck and don't know what to do.
For clarity, here's exactly what I did (see below). I get all the way to Section B, Step 2 and that's where it breaks down. There's no different line, and no process ever runs, even after waiting 30 minutes. I ran the tool as Administrator, but still no luck. Can anyone help me? Just as additional info, my Mac also does not recognize my OPT as a USB device. Also, I tried my backup USB-C cable from the OEM, with the same results.
A. Install the Certificates followed by the Qualcomm drivers.
1. Restart your computer with Driver Signature Enforcement Disabled (Advanced Startup) Let me Google it For You
2. Open the folder "qc" and install the Test Certificate in the following Stores: Trusted Root, Trusted Publisher, Third-Party Root and Personal
3. Run the Qualcomm setup wizard (also located in the qc folder)
4. When completed, restart your PC again with Driver Signature Enforcement Disabled (Advanced Startup)
5. Turn off your phone and disconnect the USB cable from the phone.
6. Hold vol-up and plug in the USB(Do not press Power button). The screen will stay black but you will hear a sound from windows that a device is attached.
7. The driver should now automatically install. If not, go to device manager and right click "Unknown Device" and click "Update Driver" Search up the QC folder and press ok. The driver should now install. (Got the RELINK issue? Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1&postcount=46)
B. Flashing Process
1. Open the OnePlus2_14_A.11_151211 folder and open "MSM8994DownloadTool.exe"
2. Look if your phone is detected in the list. everything is Chinese but you will see one row with different chinese text from the rest within the list. If not, recheck if driver is detected in Device Manager (If not, go back to Step A - Line 4).
I think you have a bad download, try downloading it again and download the 3.0.2 version if you can.

I've bricked my op2 a while ago. I'm a real noob so I don't know if it will work but have you installed the adb mac drivers or try "fastboot continue" while in fastboot. Just don't give up and keep try. You have absolutely nothing to lose.

Thank you very much. I have the latest version, but still nothing. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but my OPT wasn't being recognized as a USB device even before I screwed up. That leads me to believe my OPT USB is maybe not functional. ADB doesn't recognize it at, nor will the MP...DownloadTool.exe. I'm guessing it is just hard-bricked since I have no other way (besides USB) to interface with the device.

Try connecting your OPT to some other guys pc and see, it may be because of your pc's end that its not getting connected.
And if the same thing happens with a different pc then yeah your usb port or something is fried. Try going to service center if the same thing happens again.
I've come across so many posts on the internet for drivers for this phone and yet none of them seem to work. My phone keeps coming up as CDC Serial.
I haven't given up on it yet, but while my phone responds under fastboot, while plugged in and booted into Download mode, under regular connection with both USB debugging enabled as per directions, no driver I have used recognizes it under regular ADB mode.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help.
I do have a clean machine I can install on if necessary but most links review to Huawei's website for the drivers and that page is gone and replaced with the current Huawei software which doesn't seem to work with this phone.
If anyone wants that files lemme know i will upload it.
My first thread hope this helps anyone having problems with Adb and Fastboot drivers or even just getting the phone to connect, any way to the point...
Razer phone 2 -
First download Samsung drivers -
Developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows
This should fix most issues (if your phone never connected; it will now and most importantly show up in Windows device manager[win+x] ), however you may still have trouble with Fastboot, so to fix this just
Simply install the razer recommended drivers on top of the Samsung drivers( do this with phone plugged in so it shows in device manager [win+x] )
Razer drivers - and installation instructions -
s3.amazonaws.com/cheryl-factory-images/How_to_Install_Android_Fastboot_Drivers_on_Windows.pdf
you will have to do this while phone is onto get adb driver working. Once thats done "adb reboot bootloader" and you will have to go to windows device manager (win+x) and install Bootloader interface driver for fastboot to then work.
Hope this helped :highfive:
EDIT: please leave a comment if this helps ,as I've noticed not many people like to say if they were helped, rather just comment if they have a problem... I would appreciate both and would like to help if I can .
