Best places to offer promo codes? - General Marketing & SEO

I have several hundred promo codes to post and I was wondering what the best sites were to send them to. I've used androidDB which was good but are there others?

Want to hire someone to write and app to pull info from my website.

Is anyone interested in writing an app to pull data from my website?
I'm not looking for anything flashy, just something to search or pull
the new entries.
PM me Information
Hi there....I'd like to develop for you. Just send me some further information via PM.
Best Regards,
Hans Moleman
So it's been 3 months since I've looked into this. I've talked to a few people, but no one has gotten back to me more than once or twice. I would still like to have this made. If anyone out there is interested, please let me know. Thanks!
Okay, I know I know nothing more than what you've said above, but to me it sounds like you may just need to add an RSS feed to your site. Then any reader app (Google reader?) can read it.
I understand I may be way off the mark, but that was my first thought.
Sent from my HD2 using XDA App
I've attached a couple images of what I'd like it to look like. The site itself already detects the device being used to access it and configures the page view appropriately. The big thing I guess is the main screen.
I've put a quick app together that uses the rss feed, but it's really ugly and not at all how I'd like the main page to display. I know very little of programming and even less about putting Android apps together. I did get in the Google App Inventor, but was still unable to put anything useful together. Maybe during Christmas break I'll try again...
I will have some free time in the coming weeks if you don't find anyone before Christmas send me a PM.

Have you considered simply putting your website inside of a webview?

or just making a mobile version of the site? It won't then be restricted to only 1 OS.

I've been told that before, but I don't know how to do that.

The site currently has a mobile version. It auto-detects the OS that is accessing it and reconfigures it appropriately. The only problem is that it's kind of limiting. You can't search easily, you can't submit information, etc. It's a really watered down version of the site. At least the main page is.
Ideally I would like people to be able to pull up the app in the movie theater either before or after to see if there is anything they need to know about beforehand or submit information via the multiple ways I provide afterwards.
Hi
This is sofian i have developed many android apps..i m interested to work...
My skype id is: sofian_sunny
hotmail [email protected]
Thanks

I know it's been a while since I've posted this on here and just as long since I've been in contact with anyone. With that being said, I would still like to do this. Here is the major problem: I don't have the cash to pay someone to do this. The site doesn't generate very much income at all right now. Although, about 75% of my traffic is from mobile users as well as the little ad income I get.
With that being said, I am more than willing to enter in a contract with the developer that states something like we will split the income from the app say 60/40 (you/me) until xx day or xx amount of dollars are met. I would like two versions; one ad supported and one ad-free, but paid (.99 or so).
I tried to also get a Kickstarter going for this, but for me to even start a campaign, I need more delepment information like timelines, mock-ups, sketches, etc.
If anyone is seriously interested, please either post back here or send me a PM.
P.S. Please, please only serious developers that can agree to the terms above. I don't need to speak with any more developer houses where we talk and all of a sudden they say it'll cost x amount of dollars. I said above I don't have the cash currently to pay for this, that's not going to change unless I win the lottery!

Good question Omar. I know the famous ones like techcrunch, but it's really hard to get reviewed there as they get a lot of requests everyday.
Any android related small but frequented websites will be welcome
I was looking for the same thing, actually.
Some threads after this one there is the How to Promote Android Apps?, inside a link from the user obscurant1st which describes in my opinion a good steps to follow up in order to promote your app. There are also some websites like bestfreeandroidapps.com and I think they are free
I have a similar problem.. androidappsreview.com is free, but not all the requests are satisfied... it also offers some service with fee...

[Q] Web sites that really review apps

Hi guys!
Do you know any web sites who write real free reviews about android apps? Not payed reviews, not review exchange, but just honest review of my app, its good and bad sides.
I tried submitting my app - play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.triladroid.gps to all websites, posted in this topic - forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2800333
And from most of them I got an e-mail with suggestions to pay money to get positive review and featuring on their websites. From now on, I just starting to think that it is almost impossible for a developer to get a free honest review on some website.
Maybe some of you know websites who are interested in writing real review for free? Maybe your app was even reviewed on some website?
I will appreciate if you share your experience with me.

We have contacts of editors of over 440 websites that post reviews of Android apps, half of them are international, you can try using our database for promoting your app (we will improve the announcement and send it via email and contact forms using your name and email as a sender, and we will send you a zip with screenshots of contact forms filled with your data). If you are interested, google for iSpreadNews (that's the name of our service).

Over last 4 years, a lot of our clients have ordered our services more than once. This is a proof that our service really works.

The question was about free real reviews. What you are proposing is to make a payment for sending proposals to review one's app and then make other payments for those reviews. Maybe your service is really great and saves a lot of time, but one still have to make a great investment.
Unfortunately, i don't know of any site which will make a free real review. There are lots of sites which will post your review for free, but they lack audience who will read it. Others make only paid reviews.

[Q] How to market my paid app further?

Hi guys,
2 weeks ago I published my new paid app on Google Play, and first couple of days I go 25 downloads a day, but last days, I get only 1, 2 or even no download a day. App was 3. in Top selling news in education, now it fell to lower posts. A lot of people like the app, desing and everything. I was putting a lot of work and time in the app, I was happy first days, but now I'm disappointed. I know that downloads will naturaly fall in time, but this? So what am I doing wrong? Do you have any tips to promote the app more?
I discovered this site appszoom.com, you can buy there review for 100$ and they do it in 48 hours and you have your review for 4 days on their homepage. What do you think of that?
Also, what price should I set it on? It was on 0,99$, but I think it's too low and if I set it on 1.99$ people say that it's too expensive...
If you buy my app, coud you please write some nice review? People that like it don't write reviews and then they are just haters, that write just for the fun...
App is called Science in Pocket, just search "Science in Pocket Serpentcorp". I have lite version without ads too.
Thanks for any advice!

How are you marketing your app right now?
I'd advice against spending $100 on stuff like reviews etc unless you know exactly what you're doing, and that you have a killer app. Try free things first and see if you can get something going that way first, and save your money until you know more about where to spend them.

Promote your app for free

One great option that you may not be aware of, is the option to use up to 500 promo codes every three months to offer up to 500 free downloads. This is a great way of getting your app known. Of course, this is only useful if your app has a premium version or if it is a paid app.
To get your app ready for promo codes: https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/billing_promotions.html
Now the difficulty I found was actually finding a number of places to post these promo codes. So I created a site for this. Basically, you can post your promo codes there, and the hope is that this will generate traffic and that both developers and users will benefit. This is entirely free for now. Do feel free to post the codes elsewhere as well if you find good places, they don't have to be exclusive to the site. By the way, if you find good places, please let us know in the thread.
To get you promo codes posted, you can either pm me here on XDA, or contact me through the site: https://androidappspromocodes.wordpress.com/
** Remember not to post links to paid apps in this thread as this is against XDA rules**
