TWRP possible? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

I'm debating buying an AT&T variant and I seen a QC TWRP for S7 but wasn't certain it'd flash to an ATT model

Our bootloaders are locked. No custom recovery or fw available that isn't samsung. If your carrier is att you won't get volte WiFi calling or video calling without the g930a.

Thanks for verifying, a shop broke my s6 and I'm just researching a replacement now, but the only S7 they had was ATT. Other choices was S6, S6 Edge, or a Sprint Note 5
My biggest concern is unbricking if I made a booboo. I wasn't aiming for AOSP roms, but a debloated stock rom would suffice

Package disabler pro works wonders and the 7.0 update is pretty stable, and there is always u firmware

[Q] Does the Unlocked firmware work on the VZW S7?

Hello all,
I am looking at getting the S7. I currently have the s7 edge, but hate the screen. The one thing I love about the edge is that I was able to flash the Unlocked firmware to it, replacing the VZW version and all of its abundance of crap. Does anyone know if there U firmware can be flashed to the stock VZW s7 achieving the same end result?
Thanks!
yes, just google xda at and t forum...U firmware will work superbly...
make sure ...remove sim...format before and after flashing..

7.0 for AT&T?

It's been awhile since I have owned a Samsung and I'm about to get a Note 4 so I was wondering what Android 7.0 Roms are out that will work with the AT&T Snapdragon model. I see Roms for all the international models and even the T-Mobile variants but I don't see anything for the AT&T variant. I will have to brush up on my flashing and Rom'ing skills as it's been too long since I have done it but I am familiar with doing all this. Thanks guys.

There is no custom ROMs for at&t model to be honest. At&t lock there devices down completely so at present there is no root, no twrp and no ROMs. Dont think there ever will be
callumbr1 , yeah, I have been doing allot of research and it's very disappointing. But there is always getting a t mobile device unlocked and still being able to enjoy some Nougat love.....

Where can I find the latest Nougat firmware for unlocked AT&T without the bloatware?

Where can I find the latest Nougat firmware for unlocked AT&T without the bloatware?
I ordered a manufacturer refurbished S7 Edge the other day...it's an AT&T unlocked phone so no doubt has the factory Marshmallow o/s plus bloatware. It hasn't arrived yet but I wanted to be ready to reflash it with Nougat. I looked about but did not find a definitive Nougat package for this handset that removes all the AT&T bloatware. Can you please point me in the right direction? Thanks!
I'm using the 'U' version for my S7 Edge AT&T phone. No bloat and wi-fi calling, VOLTE, etc.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Unlocked ODIN flashed to TMobile G950USQU5CRK1

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8 Unlocked directly from Samsung a few years back. I ODIN flashed it to TMobile and have been receiving TMobile updates ever since. Mostly wanted HD voice and a couple other features that were only available with TMobiles software. My current build is G950USQU5CRK1. Since I ODIN flashed to TMobile am I able to root? I can't seem to find any other post that pertains to this. Thanks

Which S7 Edge phones can be bootloader unlocked?

I just found out that my SM-G935P has a locked bootloader and is therefore stuck at Android 8.0.
If I want to buy another S7 Edge that is upgradable, I just have to make sure that it has the Exynos chipset, correct?
All s7 only had an official update up to android 8. When you say update, are you referring to having other possibilities using custom roms or are you referring to the rom stock update ?? If it refers to rom stock, it is better to buy an s9 or s10.
