CM13 for LG-G3, test builds out already

I was sleepily clicking around last night and came across cuzz1369's AFH dump, containing Cyanogenmod13 builds for our G3 variants. Im psyched things are actively being worked on.
Heres the link..
because everyone will want to ask; flashing this, I cant boot past the optimizing dalvik screen (tried on another phone), maybe its the gapps, Im not sure. Flashing back 12 any 5.1 rom (or nandroid backup) went without a hitch.
I am not really a hardcore developer, and I hope I am not breaking any rules by sharing this information. If This post doesnt belong here please let me know, or MOD take care of it then let me know. Im just a long time lurker, getting excited, I hope this is the right place for discussion

I't works decent, sound wifi, data worked. But i couldn't use facebook, so a whole lot of FC.

Here is a build from the official cyanogenmod maintainer for the LG G3 (d855). He says the most is working but the camera and the gaaps at this time does not work. So it is an experimental Version.

There are already newer builds with working camera.
So far I think I tried most things in the last two hours, and all is working

Can you get facebook to work?

I don't know. I don't use Facebook )
But for now I reverted back to android 5, because in cm13 there are still some fc of system ui and other graphical problems and I need an reliable phone for work.
But I think I will put it again in an month or so

Doze activate itself automatically. You don't and can't do anything about it.

Yes.

Most everything works on VS985 on the cuzz 11/9 build. Baseband is unknown, and you can't change the network type off of global, but data works fine. Messaging works but I didn't try to make a call to see if everything is good on that end. It's pretty good for a "test" build.

None of the varients are confirmed working for d851. Even his versions
Few devs commented on if on a thread I made

New batch of cm13 d851 boots!!!! no ls990 yet...

Did someone test this latest version already? I'm really curious...

Does the D851 even have a CM maintainer anymore? CM12 or 13?
Or do we just tag on to the D855?

There is a new LS990 build posted, downloading it now. Gonna give her a spin and see how it goes.
I got stuck at the Android is updating screen. It took about 5 minutes to get past the boot animation. I wiped Dalvic, cache, system and data. Then tried flashing the ROM only then 2 different sets of Gapps and still got stuck. Maybe I'll try again later when I have some more time.

Oh This CM13 build is work great with my D855.

Are there any custom ROMs with NFC support (XT1604)? Or how would you add it in?

So I own a XT1604 and it has NFC support. I'm bootloader unlocked and running on crDroid, but I've tried AEX and RR and none have NFC support. I'm not sure about Lineage but tbh I don't want to switch unless it's confirmed. Do you guys know any, or can I add NFC support manually?

I don't know but I think finding the right libs in the /system/vendor folder of the stock ROM and moving them into your ROM should work, but I haven't tried it since I am on stock.

I have my stock backed up and etc so this could be a thing but idk

Im going to just bump this if anyone has any ideas.

It's anyone's getting the ota with Mokee??. If so help me with that. I think I am getting error 7.
And is u touch working fine. In the older builds it was working fine.....
Is utouch feature is added in linage. And is there any ways to add it..

I dont use Mokee...
But i can confirm that LineageOS does not support U-touch...

No Netflix playback with Custom Rom

Hi all,
ever since I've installed a custom rom (various) on my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5110), Netflix is basically not working.
The Netflix app itself does show up in the Google Playstore and I am able to install it from there. The app itself will open and its menus do work. I can start a video, but for example it might play for 20 mins and then just stop - it fades to black and then cuts out to the main home menu. Similarly, I can sometimes play a full episode of a series, but then the next episode will almost immediately fade to black also. It's sporadic, but proper playback is basically not possible like this.
The device was unrooted when this problem occurs by the way.
I've tried various custom roms and different version of then, Lineage, Omni, Resurrection Remix, Slim etc but all have this issue.
I've tried Magisk but that didn't help.
I wondered if device spoofing might help so I wanted to try the Xposed Framework for that but it seems there isn't one for the Galaxy Tab 2.
Netflix is probably the app I use most on my tablet so this is a big problem for me.
At this point, I'm almost ready to reinstall the old stock firmware and download the apk for the last version of Netflix that will work on this device (for which Google Play doesn't give the app anymore), but obviously that's far from ideal and basically defeats the purpose and benefits to installing a custom rom on this device in the first place!!
Has anyone else had this issue using Netflix on a Galaxy Tab 2 with a custom rom?
Any one have any idea how to solve it?
Would really appreciate any help!!

I guess you mean LEAN-Experience - I tried this one and still had the Netflix problem....

I've changed my setup from omni 6 to slimkat for use as navigation on boat, but used omni on vacation a month ago...I might have time this afternoon to check it out on a 3113.

Thanks for reminding me... Playing making a murderer on the 3113 with slimkat right now, It did crash on play next episode.. I don't think it's the roms fault though.
Omni 6 has no problem with starting next episode (streaming or downloaded) for me

Anyway I've tried both now and neither allow Netflix to work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5110).
I even tried Omni7 now for good measure....same deal sadly :crying:

WiFi and BT not working on custom ROMs

Hey everyone,
I am currently trying to get some more live out of my trusty old Redmi 3s, but I am encountering a strange issue. Every custom ROM I've tried (e.g. ArrowsOS, PixelExpierience, HavocOS) has the issue that WiFi and Bluetooth can't be enabled. If I flash it back to stock everything works fine. Is there a known way to fix this? I've been looking around for a solution for several days but didn't succeed.

I'm running LOS microG (Android Pie) and both wi-fi and bluetooth work.
