Before someone is going to point out 5.7 inch screen size is not correct, I just wanted to tell that even my Redmi Note 3 shows it 5.7 instead of 5.5 and also the clock speed is 1.4 GHz at gfxbench for me.
IMO, this could be a custom ROM with an OC kernel.

I have Redmi Note 4G 2014 which I really like. I broke the glass and selling it. I have ordered the 2015 version which is 64 bits, 16GB or rom, and dual sim.
Can I flash the same roms as in the original Redmi Note 4G?
I am answering myself. No, as the redmi note 4g is known as Dior and the redmi note 64 bits is Gucci. There don't seem to exist custom roms yet.
Aw man the gucci has 1gb of ram. The experience might not be as smooth

Yes, looks like a good phone, perfect for using Miui 6. Too bad for the custom roms though, I hope someone could port CM12 as it is already 64 bits.
Ok I have received the beauty today. I can confirm the following.
Snapdragon 410 Quadcore 1.2ghz 64bits,
2 Go ram
16 Go rom
I don't see a difference of speed with the 1.6ghz version. The battery is delicious. This is impressive. It supports my 64Gb Sd card.
That's pretty much it. Very good device.
I hope we see Cyanogenmod or at least Mokee rom.

In case you were wondering about MIUI 9,
Redmi Note 4 MTK will get it but it will be based on Android 6 Marshmallow. Split screen apps will not be supported.
MIUI 9 Developer version or Beta will be released on September (dates not confirmed). If you want to try it, you might want to head to MIUI forum and keep an eye out for the Beta recruitment.

Xiaomi is my number 1 most hated mobile brand, still on Android 6 how pathetic, ffs the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 has Nougat planned for it (yes a different brand but still same year)
Stick to v9 - 7.0 never ever going to this tomorrow.
Why did there build this rom when a newer port is working so good???

I dont understand the point of upgrading...
Seriously I wl never go back to miui official ever.finger crossed . Miui 9 port by orochixxx is my daily driver now and Hopefully they will fix the bugs like cam recording, brightness very soon...so *** k miui official.

This is not a port, this is official rom from Xiaomi. This is first Close Beta rom Miui 9 China Developer for rn3pro, 7.8.28 is first close beta for all phones from third batch.
Official link,official rom and md5 its good.
I test on mi4, redmi4, redmi note 2 and redmi3.

Hi, circa 15-30 August will be global beta MIUI 10 Oreo for MTK Note 4. Sadly, there will be no kernel sources. Now is closed china beta. Works perfectly, antutu 98000. Thx xiaomi!!

Years of experience with Xiaomi.
Take a look at the other Redmi Note 4 (Mido). It got MIUI 10 but still runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), not even 7.1.

It was question to OP, not to you. I am using Snapdragon version and I am angry that Redmi 4x and 4a got 7.1 and Mido only 7.0. And I cant believe too that Nikel will receive oreo update. So OP should prove this.
I think they will receive the Miui 10 yes, but in version 6.0 of the android.
I do not even care, I really like miui.

As we all know xiaomi dropped support for redmi 3s and it is nowhere to be found on the released list of miui 11 update roadmap. So is it possible to port last stable rom to miui 11 from any similar spec'd officially supported device like redmi 4. If it is possible it will hold on to this device as its working solid till date otherwise I'll switch to new one. I know there are so many custom roms but I love miui and currently rocking mi rooms last update. Not really fan of miuipro or miui eu.

I need just one not exactly perfect but close to perfect ported ram on oreo or pie. All current roms have no stock reading mode, theme store and so many performance issues and random reboots.
