HTC One 4.2.2 Manual update to 4.2.2 Sense

Hi Guys,
I upgraded few days ago to HTC one from nexus 4. (Simfree unlocked version)
Since then I have hit the check update millions of times with no joy.
I currently have no need to custom rom or root (mainly because bank apps do not work).
So I decided to do some reading and found that Norway version has the update.
I want to keep stock up want 4.2.2 now! As I write this my device is downloading and updating
I followed this guide to unlock BL

used the revone-0.2.1 file
Once this was done I followed the guide to change my super CID from HTC-WWE "HTC__001" to HTC-Nor "HTC__Y13"

fastboot oem writecid HTC__Y13
Then reboot the phone and checked and there was a small update (1.7mb or something) then the phone rebooted and I checked update and found it!!!! 4.2.2 :victory:
Took few mins to download and then update took 10mins
I then went back into fastboot and put my CID back to normal
fastboot oem writecid HTC__001
I wanted to lock the BL again but android 4.2.2 has a security feature which you get a pop up like SuperSU to grant permission but this box does not come up on the HTC one ( did for my Nexus)

I can live with not locking BL for now untill people figure out what version of SDK/app is needed to re-lock BL.
But hey 4.2.2 on UK HTC one

If your boot loader is unlocked then why no s-off?

Changing the CID so that you can identify as a different HTC one?

I've got a One with the original CID as Orang001 changed to HTC__001 & HTC__Y13 and nothing. am I doing something wrong?

There's already enough guides on how to unlock the bootloader and change the CID... Its really not very difficult.

You need to be rooted to use revone on hboot 1.54. Try using fastboot oem lock. That should set your bootloader to relocked. Really though there's no reason to do so.

My problem was I needed to flash a stock 1.28 ruu as the stock EE wouldnt give me updates no matter what CID I put. Once I did the ruu problems all solved.

why is the system dump bigger then the rom?

what i did yesterday is downloaded all the dump files posted in this post.
then i extracted all the .img files from the zips and put them in 1 folder and when i checked the size its 1.6gb but then i downloaded the rom posted by Kunal.Kene.1797 and when i checked its size its around 840mb so my question is why is the system dump so big and the rom small is my download of the rom damaged?

the command for flashing all the img files are the same just replace file name with the name of the .img file but i would recommend u to flash the stock rom and not the dump u can find it in the q and a section

Same problem here, if anyone know some fix pls post it.

My phone is the exact specs with exact baseband and all, but the Wifi is not working after flash. Apparently it shouldn't! because "You can't get WiFi work by just restore TWRP backup. You need to flash Lollipop firmware.zip that come from official OTA zip."
Now, looking for that
*EDIT*My wifi problem is fixed now. you can find the correct firmware and guide here.

Can You post URL for ITALIAN RM-1104 NO BRAND?
Has nobody reflashed his ITALIAN Lumia 950 RM-1104 NO BRAND that we can download it?
If somebody has do it, normally the Folder of the Rom is in C:\Program Data\Microsoft\Products.
Usually this folder is hidden, you must deflag options in Folder by Control Panel to see It.
Please is important!

Hello djtonka,
I have a RM-1104 (Lumia 950 single SIM) PC- 059X5H7 (Orange RO - Romania). I installed the version from the first post to debrand it, but I cannot see Microsoft app updates in the store. Probably related to the product code. Everything else works perfectly as far as I can tell.
Can you provide a generic, non-branded version for this product code?

It is your factory variant? If so please use WDRT to flash it back

This is the Orange branded version of ROM with that product code that the phone came with.
What I wanted was to flash a generic, non-branded ROM for this product code.
WDRT does not help me, it sees only the Orange initial ROM...

One PC = one variant, if you would like to flash it with CV Romania please provide me an PC number first.

I purchased an HTC U Ultra device but the seller sent me by mistake the Chinese version with no google play services and only English or Chinese languages.
I already unlocked the bootloader according to htcdev site guide.
I want to be able to change the system firmware totally to one that have built in Google play services and multilingual, prefer the ability to have future automatic updates from HTC.
Is that even possible ?
I already installed ADB and Fastboot and flashed TWRP.
1) Is the S-off necessary ?
2) is Rooting necessary ?
3) What do you recommend ?

That did not work for me.
Later I tried flashing gapps but the device stop working.
After that flashed this ROM:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/u-...-leedroid-ultra-v1-0-0-apr-18th-fast-t3591645
It is now working good but seems that I will not be able to get HTC official updates.

Yes. You need ruu to go back full stock and then you can update

Yes, but you need S-OFF and make sure your U Ultra can flash that RUU.
For example: HTC One M9 AT&T can flash RUU for HTC One M9 Unlocked/Developer Edition

Enter download mode and you can see your device S-ON or S-OFF
