Is it worth keeping knox intact ? and if its not so important, is it possible to root the Samsung S6 Edge+ 928I ?
It is possible to root the G928i but not without tripping Knox. If you care about Samsung Pay or Android Pay don't root it. Otherwise I think Knox is pretty useless beyond maintaining a software warranty.

Those things i'm not worried about and i've never used. Is there likely to be an engineering bootloader for the G928I do you know ?
What to do? Root or not? S7 edge sm935f unlocked uk btu. Tell the true is the best phone ever... i had s6 edge , s6 , s5 s4 note4 all of them i used root and flash custom roms. Whit the s7 edge black onyx is verry diff. Its like i whant to keep the phone virgin...
Hi.
Not a very useful title for a thread. Most everyone needs help or help in having a question answered...
And also your question isn't something to be answered clearly...
You could root your device. If you need it is your decision. Do you see clear benefits in it? Are you aware, that there is no way to do it without tripping knox atm?
Do you have a device with an exynos processor in the first place? If it is a snapdragon you could forget the whole idea of rooting at this point, because there is no way to root it atm.
ah.. okay. must have missed the device model type.. yes, you can root. you have the exynos...
Is it possible to root the Exynos 935FD (Duos version) using the 935F method? Can I also have some proof that someone did it? Thanks!
Of course, the method is the same as the 935F version
Check this tutorial : http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/recovery-official-twrp-hero2lte-3-0-0-0-t3334084
During this tutorial, TWRP is installed and the phone is rooted, and it works for every S7 edge powered by exynos
But don't know if CF-Auto-Root works for your phone (http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/sm-g935-exynos-cf-auto-root-t3337354)
Okay thank you! Might try this method
I did it last week-end on my G935F (and I also used a tutorial from Max Lee on Youtube), just had to do the exact same thing as the tutorial, it was quite easy and fast
If you got the "ninja" security patch from Samsung, root will not work.
there's still no workaround for this yet.

I am also looking to root my S7 Edge, G935FD (Exynos) running Android 7.0. Were you able to root it ?
Any problems after root if you have done it ?

Hi, I own a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge with snapdragon and I'm new to this rooting stuff, but I can't figure out how to root my phone. What do I do?
I have a samsung-sm-g935a
And Android 6.0.1
Thanks!
