When someone send message to me on WhatsApp, i can't see that Emoji in the notification, instead of emoji i can just see square

So i just rooted and installed handcent and turned off stock sms notifications but when receiving text i was getting a notification from handcent and what i thought was the stock app. But then i turned on stock sms notifications and now i get notification from handcent, one from stock app and and one that says New Message(s) You have an unread message and it looks like a little picture of envelope or post card. I have no idea where that notification is coming from. its very annoying please help
Never mind thread can be closed found out that even if you don't use beautiful widgets sms that the notification will still show
Hi, When I receive any massage (Whatsapp, sms), I see a preview only when the message is only one from one contact. When I receive more then one msgs I only see an avatar and count of msgs. I can do two fingers swipe down for msg preview, but i would appreciate if I can see the preview imediatly after scrolling the notification bar down. My friend with the same version and settings of whatsapp on Nexus 4 with the same version of android could see the msg previews without two fingers swiping down. Any ideas? Thanks a lot
When I send Smiley Face in text message on Emoji keyboard I get this message pops up when I click Send, "Message may be corrupted on recipient device. Change input mode to automatic" Message sends but Smiley does not show up on other end. How can I fix this??? I get their Smiley when they send to me. Settings look the same. Please Help

I have a Galaxy S4 from AT&T that just updated to Android Lollipop last night. I've been trying out SlideLock, but I wanted to try out Lollipop's new lockscreen and liked it - except for the group message notifications. For regular SMS messages, I can see the sender name and a preview of the message. However, for group messages, that come in as MMS, I just get the notification "a new message has arrived." I don't know why this is happening, and I made sure that the option for enabling a preview of the message was enabled in settings. I have a passcode on the lockscreen, but I can still see previews for SMS, just not MMS. Thanks in advance!
Hope someone can help me. I've recently moved on android from iPhone and use whatsapp alot and whenever I get a message, either in lockscreen or status bar, it only shows 1 message received from 1 chat, on iPhone I could see the name of person and the message they sent. Is it possible on do this on Android and how please.
Not sure it's what you ask for but I use the whatsapp widget. You see all messages from all users without sending a read receipt.
In notification I can pull down to see the messages.
