[q] brief the flashing procedure of fxd google play edition flashing>

i am sorry bt how to flash gpe rom ????i cant understand the thread so plz anybody help me to brief it step by step.thanks in advance
It needs to be flashed via fastboot. If you don't know what that is or aren't comfortable doing it, then I would wait until you've done some reading about fastboot.

Easy root Xperia Z2 5.1.1 Stock 23.4.A.0.546

Hi guys I have found an easier method to root 5.1.1 (By accident )
steps
1)flash the ftf 23.4.A.0.546 based upon you device version(d6503 or d6502)
2)Download the latest custom kernel of Androplus(v62 recommended)
3)copy the same into your phone (.zip)
4)flash the boot image from the zip in fastboot to get recovery then install the zip copied earlier
5)download suView attachment UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
6)install the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46 in recovery and congrats you just got your phone rooted
I did test the same,got my D6502 version rooted:angel:
Credits
Androplus for his awesome kernel
give a thumps u if your problem is solved
This is useful only to those who have their bootloader unlocked...
Plus this method is not new... It has been around for quite some time
If you're rooted on previous version, you can make a backup of your TA partition, then do OP steps, then flash stock kernel, and restore TA... Easy

I just found the same as all the methods to root 5.1.1 found to be quiet complex
so this one may prove to be much simpler root method at present time.
Thanks working Xperia z2 D6503 Android 5.1.1 23.4.A.0.546 open bootloader. fast and easy [emoji106]

Sorry, I am just a newbie in this.
I just wanted to know how can I flash the kernal? If you could explain the procedure
Secondly, in serviceinfo>configuration - it says 'Bootloader Unlock Allowed: Yes'
That means my Bootloader is unlocked, right?

I am rooted right now.
I just downgraded, unchecked the data, appdata and cache and flashed the kitkat rom but it caused bootloop, I flashed again and wiped all the data and cache in the flashtool and it worked.
Rooted, installed recovery and flashed the pre-rooted file from recovery.

Please mention For unlocked bootloader in your thread name.. New people will get confused and may try to flash kernel on locked BL and get bricked. You can root or do whatever you want if you have unlocked BL.. Nothing accidental..
Hi
How about root for z1 5.1.1?

Yotaphone 2 backup

I can't update my yotaphone 2
via ota or yota flasher.
I think it's because my phone is branded with a stupid Italian carrier, that didn't feel like distribute the update.
I rooted it and installed TWRP but I can't find any rom or backup with Android 5...
Anyone could help me?
Thanks

If you can't update it and are happy with rooting etc then just flash a different firmware instead of using OTAs. A load of us got bored waiting for EU updates and are now using the RU firmware as they get updates sooner.
I can't flash the firmwares from ftp://fw.ydevices.com/YotaPhone2/Firmwares/
maybe I don't use properly TWRP?
(it's actually completely fine with backup and restore, I was able to flash a new bootloader too, but I can't flash those firmwares)
If someone has a clean backup and would like to share it, I would really appreciate.
Or any other suggestion, please.
Thanks
Emiliano.

You have to flash system.img and boot.img via fastboot... Don't flash other stuff or you will lose IMEI!

[Q]Back to stock and saftynet

Hello everybody,
I'd like to test the "new" B05 on my Axon G, just to see if my battery is better with the stock rom.
But i have a small question. My bootloader is unlocked, my phone can't pass safetynet without a trick in the kernel.
Somebody know if a "safetynet" kernel is avaiable for our stock G variant? or i need to relock my bootloader?
Thanks for your lights

Magisk is your friend, search the board. Ask google. No special kernel needed.

You can use my guide if you want to return safely to stock - over at Guides, News Discussion
And about safetynet, you'll pass if you follow the guide that's on the XDA articles. That article you sent is from October 2016 lol
I've been passing SafetyNet for at least two weeks but only tested two days ago. Now that they updated safetynet you might need to execute those commands in order to delete stuff and whatnot, and it will pass
Effectively, it's work !! thanks all.
What i do. :
Backup everything. Titanium etc...
Reboot in recovery, backup on OTG
Wipe everything (system/data/cache etc...)
Send via adb twrp zips files (bootstack, system and magisk)
Installed TWRP version bootstack and system.
reboot recovery
Installed Magisk.
Reboot and it's work
Now i need to check if i can have more thant 4 SOT
