Hello friends, I found this rom for g355h (galaxy core 2) and I wonder if anyone can convert it to the galaxy core prime g360x. I made a comparison and I saw that they both have the almost identical hardware specifications so I think that in the hands of the right person they will get it because I do not know how to do it.

I do not know who the credits are from rom!

Anxiously awaiting working cameras (at least front facing camera) on my Galaxy tab 10.1, I was wondering why one can't use the source from some of the other models that allready have got source released.
Sure, the Galaxy tab 2 series use a different cpu, but are the camera modules different? Is there no other phone/tablet with source code released that use either the same camera, or a phone running tegra 2 and ics with a similar setup?

Pershoot will try to adapt the driver from the 10.1v for the 10.1, however we should also get our own source soon enough so try to be patient a bit. It can get very tiresome to see so many people asking for camera. Please try to understand the feelings of people who read a lot of posts about the camera. Asking won't help. I know you tried to help with your suggestion, but it will be done when its done, so please be patient.
Thanks for the reply
I used to have a Xperia Arc earlier, and I saw alot more porting of firmware back and forth from related phones on that forum. I just haven't seen the same method beeing used on the galaxy 10.1 part of XDA, but of course, the xperia range is made up of a bunch of (almost) identical phones with different screen sizes.
I guess the only samsung phone with Tegra 2 is the Galaxy R, which hasn't got a ICS build either yet, and all of the other tegra based tablets from samsung are also still awaiting ICS.
I am getting a bit annoyed with samsung though, what's the big holdup? This tablet was also given away on Google IO for dogs sake! You would think that they would prioritize it a wee bit since they know that several thousand android developers own one of these tablets.
Porting roms is not the same as porting drivers.
Also, there is a thread for such complaints.

Yu Yureka. (assuming the build quality is good)
The Yureka is delivered with Cyanogenmod and the source codes needed to allow custom rom development will be provided. That means you have a decent guarantee of future updates (in the worst case, you have the code to build an update yourself).
Lenovo generally ships dead-end devices with no source codes and locked bootloaders. It now owns Motorola (who make great open devices) but, I generally avoid Lenovo-branded smartphones and tablets (and I am a long-time IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T user).

Now if you want lots of customization, themes and all.. a phone with great software, go for YU Yureka.
In my opinion i suggest you to buy yureka handset because it comes with Cyanogenmod rom and that allow allow custom rom development with under warranty and it will give you Lollipop update for this handset.

The question you ask is basically personal choice and what is available to you see this link for the differences.
Mainly 4G or no 4G, and the Platform processors 1.9GHZ Oct-Core against 2.3GHZ Quad-Core otherwise they are the same
Answers to the others
1.-Never had a problem so no idea what you mean
2-Yes, best battery life I have had on a mobile and very stable and smooth (personal opinion)
3-Too general can't say what you should get that's up to you.
Hey all, i am thinking of buying a note 4 and in my country they sell both variants the F and the C, I dont care much about custom aosp roms and i would like to ask, the S6 firmware when it comes on what variant it can be ported more easily? If not the whole rom then maybe most of the features?
Thanks
Up!

It's possible but I wouldn't expect to see it for some time. First we need the device. Also the Source for said device/kernel. Also the source for your device your porting to. Then there has to be a developer; with both devices, has time to develop, willing to share it, has not left XDA, and is willing to support and fix any problems. Basically flip a coin. Guess heads or tails. That's your answer.
There is a posibility that we'll get the new touchwiz UI in a later update..5.1 maybe.
That is why i am asking, to me as i understand N910C is the more powerful CPU, i don't play many games so for me its my first choice, but in terms of support we all know that the exynos doesn't have any sources, so i am asking if and when the S6 comes, will i get the ported touchwiz hypotheticaly or the snapdragon version is easier way to be ported?
Hi there
I am looking for a Rom higher or Android 7 for my Samsung Galaxy S3 MIni VE GT-I8200N?
Is there such a thing? Has anyone had a good experience with a Rome like this?
Woud be nice. Thanks
If there is one, at least it's not known here ... The 'development' for this device is dead since many years
I haven't found a good ROM here @ XDA.
I found a link on youtube. It's not entirely clear to me whether you have to install both files. There are two available for download. The 1st file did not run smoothly and so I pushed the 2nd afterwards. Now the device runs very stable and relatively fast. But it's only Android 6.
I cannot give any information about the seriousness. Maybe you don't have to do online banking with it.
Well, what you've found is a fake ... just Marshmallow skin/style, but based on Android 4.2.2
