I have an issue with my data. It will just stop working, and the icon in the status bar will be H+ with the upload arrow constantly lit, but not the Download arrow. The only way for me to get my data back is to manually turn mobile data off and on again, sometimes repeatedly, until it works.
Has anyone experienced this?

Do you have proper signal coverage? Your problem seems like having a high data traffic.

Yeah I have bars of signal, and like I said if I switch data off and on again it starts working

has anyone had any issues with the mobile internet not coming on when waking up your phone? i can see that the mobile widget is green, but there is no evdo icon on the status bar. i have to turn it off and then back on to get it going again.
if it's a setting, then please direct me to where i need to go to change it.
running fresh 0.6, clear as a bell theme.
So occasionally, but often enough that I am bothered by it, my Droid Pro refuses to turn on data (the 3G or 1X in the notification bar) despite having perfect signal and trying to use apps that require data. It is not a setting that is wrong, I think, because sometimes the data will turn on by itself and 100% of the time can be fixed with a reboot. A reboot of course takes minutes, so I was wondering if there were a way to jumpstart the data connection besides a reboot. Turning airplane mode on and off doesn't seem to help, only a reboot does. Have many of you encountered this issue?
I've been such a problem when switching from CDMA mode to GSM.
+1
I have the same issues with GSM/3G and often also with wlan.
It sucks.
I haven't found an easy way to get back online fast. The phone does what it wants.

Does nobody else ever have this problem?? It is always fixable by a reboot but I was wondering if anyone else knows a different way?
It seems that problem is gone away with the update...

Hi, I'm trying to use CloudyFlex rom, simply because I love the interface. But, when I run it, I consistently lose my data connection. The 4G LTE icon in the status bar stays on, but I can't access anything. Most times, I can fix it by toggling airplane mode. But, sometimes, the connection won't come back unless I restart the phone. I've asked a few times in the ROM thread, but I'm not getting any responses. I've never had this problem on any other ROM (Pardus, stock, Spiderio, etc.).

Nope, I've tried all the fixes recommended for LTE not sticking. I'm completely losing my data connection, not just LTE.
Hi there
I have a galaxy note 3 from Verizon working on claro dominicana in the dominican republic.
Im just giving you some background. It works perfectly even 4G lte, im not root user and a few days ago i install lollipop update and i love it but something weird is happening. I cant disable the data. Im on wifi at home and when i go out sometimes i want to leave the data off so the battery last longer and extend my data plan cuz im just have 1gb. And i try to use my data plan just when i need it but since im on lollipop even when i turn my data off i still getting massages from what'sapp and everything still working li a dont turn it off.
I try to hard reset my phone to see if i get fix but no.

When you turn it off are you using the status bar toggle or system settings?
I used the notification bar toggle but i check in settings and its disabeled but still consuming my mobile data plan. I also try to disable it directly on settings but no change are made

Hm strange I would try factory reset
I fix it!!!! I enter un safe mode and everything was working fine and i realized that sometging were wrong with an app and it was DU speed booster with the engine + mode active in accessibility. I turn it off and everything it's fine now.
Can't disable mobile data
Has anyone else solved this problem of not being able to turn off mobile data? I have turned off mobile data in settings, wiped the cache partition, turned off background data on every app, turned off the automatic smart switch, tried it in safe mode and mobile data is still on. 4G symbol is greyed out in notification bar, but data is still on. Only thing that turns it off is airplane mode, which is not good as I cannot receive calls. I have read that someone with the same ptoblem did a factory reset and it was not the solution. My phone is a not rooted Note 3 running 5.0 lollipop with no updates available. I also tried SIM cards from 2 different providers and problem persists.
I have the same problem too

I used to have the same problem until I installed another ROM in my phone, in this case, PHRONESIS.
I never found how to solve it.
Hello everyone!
I've problem with switching mobile data on.
I've tried many custom roms and i thought the issue was gone after a week of hassle-free experience, BUT...
yesterday i used mobile data for 3 hours listening to music by Tidal, switched data off and i went asleep. After awaking, i tried to turn it on and the problem appeared again.
What's the problem?
There r 2 symptoms:
1. - mobile data toggle button is active (LTE shown in the left upper corner of the toggle) when i swipe down notification bar , but not on status bar (there is nothing, not even “x“, when i have data disabled, so it looks like it's trying to connect to mdata and it can't). Overall effect: there is no internet, even though toggle behaves like there is no problem, quickly shows this LTE in the corner. Toggling on and off doesnt help.
2. - i practice a lot in the basement, where's simply signal void.
during this everythin-works-week my phone had no problem with finding signal after exiting the basement. now it takes a looot of time to find an operator.
Solution for both, whats also strange: HARD reboot. SOFT reboot doesnt fix anything.
Anyone has a clue whats going on with my phone?
(currently i'm on AOSP-OMS-7.0-20161111-lux-nickv)
