[Q] I don`t get it: why can`t I post in dev section?

Hey guys,
I am a member since years. But why I can`t post in devs section?
there is someone posting with just one post.
what is the trick?

You need 10 or more posts. You must have misread the post count of the other person. I personally think time would probably be a better indicator, but maybe that's just me.

so now I have 11 posts. but still no post in devs section possible.
is the a mod around here who can help me please? i have questions regarding a rom and cant post it to the dev (dung).

Wait a few hours. It takes a while to register I think. Also, I saw your username all the way down the Q&A section and thought you were spamming, but it's nice to see you actually contributing to the forums in order to get your posts instead of spamming like a large number of people would

Saurom mods

Rules of development section are very clear : ' if you didnt create it , then it doesnt belong in the development section .
They are to many clones of my rom / mods right now, what my team asks of other devs right now is if they want they can create mods/theme based of our work not a complete rom we will be glad to post links to these theme/mods in the OP of our rom thread .
I have already pmed some devs and will keep doing it , I am hoping some Mods will acknowledge this thread without the need for me to pm them and report the rom chefs still using our files posting it as there rom .
If you guys out there make mods on your own , we/ I am and always have been happy to be of some assistance to help you make the mods yourself , but using my EXACT ROM FILE then calling it your rom has lasted long enough
Our intention here is not to shut down anyone , we encourage variety , and its great thing for the end user to have more choices , but the truth is if you use our files and throw in a few apk and a few *.pngs its not a rom its a theme or a mod at best and it should be posted in the appropriate section that section is called themes and apps .
We have come to this conclusion as this will help clean up the dev section. and help the end user to know what they are flashing .

what you are rambling about is essence of xda developeers forums and you will not win that fight
what you can do is to create own www and take your users there keepin support on forums like xda and so on but you will not win fight with the copy paste developers on xda that again is essence of this place

lmao fun reading but your plain wrong read the xda rules some rom threads have been shut down right here in the i9000 section (not by me) there is a difference between copying the mods of others or using there source .
but downloading there roms, adding a few png /swap a few apk and calling it by another name that is simply NOT development its a Theme , it doesnt belong in Development section , simple asthat

thank you for being done with me, it will save both of us some time as I said read the rules about the work of others ( see bold text in first quote)
fyi accusing me of trolling, I make a valid thread about a subject that is not addressed to you at all Your post in here was absolutely useless and almost of topic ( see second quote down ) so please keep your word and refrain from posting here again , thank you .

If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission, and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. .....
Convincing evidence will result in copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence you created the work then in the spirit of sharing all work will remain posted on the forums.

no not pointing fingers that was not the intention, the intention is to put it outhere so that devs I havent pmed about this know how we feel about it

Forum rules grr

I understand why there have to be rules on a forum, for example the 10 post minimum before I can post on a development thread, but, I have been lurking for quite some time and have a specific question related to a ROM for which I seriously doubt I will receive an answer on a general thread.
I saw one post of a 'Thank you to Wescrip', the creator of ICS Resurrection and the person was told off and post it in the proper thread instead. Of course this original poster had only 1 post so he/she too was actually unable to do so.
So I hope you excuse me but I guess I will have to post some drivel here and there to up my post-count...

No offence, but ranting about it here really isn't going to help solve anything. Best thing to do is to post around helping others until you have the required amount.

I will star first.....vodafone romania said that the official jelly bean in my country will be released on 01 march 2013.

Posts like yours are the reason why threads get closed. In case you have missed it, this is neither Twitter nor Facebook so nobody is interested in utterly useless posts. If you had at least written something amusing about the subject. But no, your post has the intelectual niveau of a 5 year old kindergarten pupil. Yippi, I am first! Come on, I know you can do better

I don't see why anyone should be forced to give out what is theirs to give out in any certain manner. Just because you have your invite thread, it doesn't mean people are forced to abide by your rules, that would just be silly. If someone wants to give out their own invite in a thread other than yours. That is their right and perfectly ok with me.
As that this invite has been claimed.
