Thanks
PS:sorry if it isn't in the right thread, you can cancel this.

Because If I loose the phone no one can access to the photos and other documents. I don't want to use the google remote block service because I don't want to install/use google services.
By the way I tried also OctOS and does not work either. I think it's a problem in common with every custom ROM. (Sadly the stock one has integrated Google Play Services)

Yes, can someone inform the developers that there is a bug? I don't know "the right way". Thank you, hope this will be fixed.

Just for reference: its reported https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-253
I am also quite sure that this bug was already in cyanogenmod and also reported there.

There is a bugreport about encryptiong: https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-253 Maybe give it an upvote.

Encryption is working
The Bug got fixed in the latest LineageOS Version (14.1-20170424-NIGHTLY). To prevent a bootloop, the latest TWRP Version(twrp-3.1.0-athene_shreps) should be installed.

Bug or feature ? The app reloads webview on icon click (even if already there)
Didn't liked the back button behavior, it goes back through all history
Can you remove the "motocheck.co.cc by Vazay" from the first screen, maybe to another tab also I think the best of testers must be named inside the app

It lets you connect Motorola Development servers, and look for updates.
This could be done before the app, but it was troublesome, but with this app, is way easier. Even someone with no experience can help in the quest of our ICS leak.

Neither, i just haven't design a behavior for the different fragments. i could technicly freeze the fragment, and have it load back to the last state. but is not necesserly a bad idea to reload the fragment either.

Hey guys awesome work but 2 questions.can I use this with notchtrix 1.3.1? And is it possible to use this without factory reset?
It should work on any blur based rom. You must factory reset / clear data to delete the blur account. You will need to create a new fake blur account for each server you check.

lol. ROM Factory 2 is on its way. but with the pressure put on me by cwm recovery 6 with having the same feture and all, im working 100% to do something new!
Hey Sam and good work. I was wondering if it will ever be possible to make this app like on ATRIX 2 where no reboot or factory reset needed cause for some people like me, we work 16 hours a day on construction where we don't really have to to do factory resets. Don't get me wrong im not saying ur app os bad or anything but do u think it will ever be possible? ( for people that don't know on ATRIX 2 u just press on the server u want and it checks. No factory reset needed or even reboot

The previous app was not working correctly, it would switch cloud server but from there it would not properly authenticate because of the fact that the blur. authentication never re occur. i havnt pin point just yet what files require to be remove. so for no im sorry cant do, factory reset remains a need. can't you nandroid back up?

[Q] Can anyone post a fixed Mokee rom for the Redmi 4G?

I have installed Mokee on my 4G. But I have some security concerns with it. Google throws up a security warning when you reboot it complaining about an app that is trying to be installed. Numerous antivirus applications have problems with some of the apps.
Does anyone have a clean version of this rom that has the crap removed? I tried and failed. I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate it. Thanks!

As development for this device appears to be mostly at a standstill, you are more likely to be successful if you do it yourself. I lack the time/patience for this (might change during the summer) so unless someone else jumps in, you're on your own. In the mean time, there is nothing wrong with MIUI 5 at the moment.

I have done that with Titanium. When I reboot I get the Google security warning when an app installs itself. Antivirus programs Avira and others throw up warnings under a full scan for different things.

Excuse me? If I had a computer with Linux that I could work on I would, but I don't at this time. See the issue? This thread is rather redundant as you could have just as easily asked that question in a topic where it is discussed.
As a side note, I am able to delete all the Chinese apps, don't even need to use Titanium Backup. Just take the app from the app drawer and drag it to the trash. It worked for me, chances are good it will work for you.
You may find this interesting: http://xda-university.com/as-a-developer/porting-aosp-roms-using-source-code
By the way, CM11 and Mokee are so similar it's ridiculous. Mokee is basically CyanogenMod with all the icons and names changed to 'Mokee'.

How would I know? I just did a fresh clean install. It was the first thing I did after it booted. I uninstalled the apps like you did from the app drawer. Next reboot they are re-installed. Others have the same problem so I don't know how it can be different on your phone.
Uninstalling apps with Titanium/Link2SD/other apps won't work due to the non standard location of the apks.
With Root Explorer (or similar) go to /system/third-app and delete apks of these chinese apps. They won't reinstall again. I did that when installed Mokee, months ago, and they never reappeared.
Remember to uninstall also System Server (probably ad/analytics/spy, not needed)
r ex
i used built in root explorer to delete those chinese apps except fm . no problems now.

Google play services force close [temp fix]

The only fix is changing location to "DEVICE ONLY". If it still happens after that clear all data associated with "GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES"
Until google does something this is all we got as far as I'm aware. I've tried everything and this is the only reliable thing. Minus reverting versions.

This looks like a problem with an Xposed module. The posts I highlighted below are all from today and they all have the same problem. If that's the case the thread doesn't belong here. That's why I ask. Troubleshooting problems and not posting your phone's configuration is completely pointless. im using stock 5.1 and stock kernel and i had those FC issues. I recommend to anyone having those issues:
1. Disable Xposed via twrp using terminal command like it says right here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-lollipop-stuck-bootloop-t3055816
2. Update every module to lastest version.
3. Delete disable file at /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/ with root explorer to able xposed to work again.
Solved my problem.

The worst part about this is the new play services work perfectly fine on the stock rom. The only roms that seem to have problems are AOSP based roms. The developers of all of the AOSP roms have said over and over that it's not the rom and that it's the new play services causing the issue. But if play services works fine on the stock rom and not on AOSP roms then how is it play services that's the problem? So that, to me, tells me that it's something that needs either fixed in AOSP source code or something needs changed in the rom config to work with the new play services, right?
I have flashed back and forth like 20 times between stock and AOSP based roms all weekend to test this and I never get the problem on stock. It's always just the AOSP based roms. For now I've managed to stay on chroma with play services 7.3 without it auto-updating, but I'm betting that will be short lived.

Our Device doesn't work with Android keystore?

I tried running the "bitwarden" app without success on omnirom, AICP and paranoid. I was able to get it to work once on AICP but then never able to recreate the scenario or know what was different. When I provided logcats to the developers they came back asking why our device doesn't work with the android keystore. Specifically:
01-23 23:01:06.816 11841 11841 E AndroidRuntime: android.runtime.JavaProxyThrowable: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: The configuration is invalid. Creating the instance for type ISecureStorageService failed. Key not yet valid ---> SimpleInjector.ActivationException: Key not yet valid ---> Java.Security.InvalidKeyException: Key not yet valid
Namely
Java.Security.InvalidKeyException: Key not yet valid
This is the error. For some reason that device doesn't work with the Android Keystore. Any idea why?
I was going to say something about Chinese phones and not having good encryption due to the Chinese government's need to snoop on literally everything, but I don't think that's the case. Have you tried it on other ROMs, namely, stock/official LeEco ROMs? Or eUI? If bitwarden still doesn't work, you ought to contact a veteran dev like codeworkx.

In the bug report I opened at bitwarden a second user has reported the same issue with AICP 13.1. I personally tried AICP 12.1, Paranoid Android 7.3.1 and Omnirom 7.x. Oddly I did manage to get it working on AICP 12.1 one time but then was unable to identify what was different or recreate the situation. I did leave a PM for codeworkx identifying the issue since it appears to be a problem on both nougat and oreo. If it's an issue with any app that tries to use encryption in ANY form it could be a big problem. I don't see how that could be the case though since they have android pay working on some roms and it certainly uses encryption in it's processes (or at least I'd think it would).

I personally tested the app on Omnirom 7.x, AICP 7.x, and Paranoid Android 7.x.
A 2nd user in the bitwarden bug report stated it crashed for them as well under AICP 13.1 (Android 8.x).
https://github.com/bitwarden/mobile/issues/264
So if you have it working please state Rom, and kernel used .
*update*
Are you using the "stock" kernel in your personal build or one of the available ones like darkobas's or blackscreen?

I have no idea if it works or not, i never used that app before, but i've created an account, adding passwords, cards, notes works fine, no crashes. Maybe you should clearify what exactly makes an app crash. Is it when you open the app? Or is it when you add something?
The rom is here, you can try and see if it works for you: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75333479&postcount=797

I'll give it a try. For me and others the bitwarden app crashes immediately when you try to open it...you never get to actually use it for anything.
I'm currently on the "official" paranoid android 7.3.1 with it crashing like that so will try yours. Hopefully just a drop in replacement.

I just flashed your rom, open gapps 20180123 mini and finally magisk 15.3...booted up and had it start restoring apps from backup...installed bitwarden as one of my first apps and tried to open it...it promptly closed....so tell me what you are doing different please.

Magisk could be your problem or backups, maybe try without them first. I did nothing unusual really, just downloaded that app from play store and it works, but i don't have root.

Are you using open gapps as well? Are you using mini or another version? I'll try it without magisk and without any type of restore.

I tried your rom and open gapps..no magisk...no data....did the bare minimum to get to the desktop and installed bitwarden via playstore. It crashed the same as always.
Will download opengapps stock and give it a try.

@voron00
Tried the unofficial version of paranoid + opengapps stock...nothing else.......connected to my google account...installed bitwarden via play store...it crashes.
Until I can find a 2nd person that says it works for them I have to consider you the lucky one
@voron00
After alot of testing it looks like a clean install of AICP 12.1 is the ONLY rom I personally could use that will let bitwarden work. Titanium Backup can be used to restore user apps and the data for those apps but that's it. Thanks for the information that it was possible to get it to work although I'm still unsure how you got it working on Paranoid Android unless perhaps you restored data from AICP 12.1 that had whatever bitwarden is looking for. Here's hoping android pay works on AICP 12.1. The low volume in calls on AICP is very bad or I'm going deaf..will work on that next.
I got works on AOKP 7.2.1 everything works on this great ROM.

How is in call volume and speakerphone? So far the only ones that I found with good in call sound were pixel experience and omnirom.

Someone might be able to help, but it does make a difference which device you use.
So you need to give us that information.
If your device supports LineageOS, you should go with this one in my opinion.

yea so look for Roms that say "Vanilla" this means they don't have any google apps, it's just pure apps like file manager, messages and dialer.

link. this might be helpful for you to get TWRP but i didn't find a single custom rom for your device on XDA. But wait, got something in getdroidtips. I found some lineage os roms too (versions : 14 and 15). Maybe you could just flash them and check whether they are without google services or not. If they are with google mobile services, try rooting your device and remove the bloatware manually.

LOS doesn't have google things installed.
That's why I recommended it above already.

You are right but there are few exceptions in unofficial builds.
I've used a lineage os ROM for my Gionee S6s which was an unofficial build and it came with GMS preinstalled.
