Anyone can help me about this error please !?
your device has been compromised. because of a new security policy introduced in version 5.0, knox is not available on compromised device.
Are you rooted or Knox 0x1 ?

Guys I was rooted and 0x1 of course. I now wanted to sell my S7 edge and flashed the 7.0 FW for the new owner and was shocked about the S Health pop up that literally says that the device was "hacked" and S Health can't start! Is there a way of getting S Health behave "normal"? Maybe downgrade to M? Or was is it the same with S Health on M? never used S Health so I don't know...

Im so sad bro no one gives correct answer but i lost 3 4 day on internet searching to do something but unable to do anything for s health or know.
To the best of my knowledge, once Knox has been tripped, there is no resetting the counter. I don't think you can get said app to work irrespective of the version you have installed.
[EDIT]
Try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/help/s-health-warning-nougat-final-rooted-t3536942
I contact live support they entered my phone remotely and all they did was to FORCE STOP app and then to open again
cannot get it work either, is it related to tripped knox itself or it will be working on non rooted knox tripped device?
I have the same error in S Health after installing BTU on a NEE S7 Edge device using Odin 3.11.1 and then I also did a factory reset. My Knox Counter is NOT triggered. Force stop does not help, no updates available. Any ideas?

I got this error when I only installed "AP" using Odin. I ran Odin again, selecting all files and then S Health works as expected.
It seems some people are getting these errors when flashing a CSC firmware that is not the phones original. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The only way around it without rooting, is to keep re-installing the firmware (making sure you flash all 4 files using CSC not HOME_CSC) until it finally works.

Hey Guys,
My friend just got a Note 3 from UAE. He just wants to know whether he can flash an Indian firmware via package. I mean he wants to know whether it'll cause any issues with Knox or something. Thanks

Stock rom flashing will not void warranty, India has already kitkat for SM-N 900, for UAE only God knows when it will arrive, any how warranty is only for UAE so nothing to worry.

In normal case should not be any problems, but if he dont know how to flash than he must read, read & read in this XDA forum before flash to be sure all goes well.

Yeah that won't be a problem. But just in case, could you send me link on how to flash?
Also to flash via Odin, do I need to disable Knox like when the S4 users do while rooting?
Just flash the file via Odin - no need to disable KNOX or play with it or you'll trip it.

If u are going for clean install & clearing data & catch from recovery(recomonded) before flash knox disable is not requierd but disable reactivation lock, download latest firmware from sammobile.com,make sure kies not running while using odin, disable any antivirus also, Clear data & catch after flash is better also,u can search for Dr.ketan in this forum for more reading guied how to flash, I m not very good in writing.

Open your S Health application, touch the menu that is at top left corner, then, touch to "coach". Complete the rest.
The problem is that i there is no coach icon. !
That why i need some help.
Ok either you need to edit your Csc because it depends on location or install this xposed mod

Are you rooted? If you are it's a very simple fix. The coach in shealth is location dependant. If you flash a btu firmware through odin then you should get it without tripping knox

I mean you want a generic rom unbranded. I thought btu was the Csc for generic unbranded phones. Other than using odin to flash a rom that has coach enabled I think you may well have to root
I managed to try root method using SpaceX kernel yesterday, and grant a root access, but I think I messed up on something. :crying:
I tried to freeze and delete some stock apps like Google Music and anything else I think I don't need. And of course before I delete them, I made a backup using Titanium. But then I realize my Private mode is not working whenever I tried to activate it. It said "Failed to enable Private Mode, try again", it is not working no matter how many times I tried. And then I realize maybe because of those apps I uninstalled earlier, to be precise I think it is "com.sec.knox(something)". When I try to restore it, Titanium said I don't have a backup of it, but it is on my backup history just without the backup file (see attachment). If I'm not mistaken it can be found in Play Store, called Samsung Security Policy Update, but since it is originally come with Samsung device it is not downloadable.
I'm still trying to figure out what the actual cause for this problem, and if anyone could help, I'd be so grateful if you can share Titanium file for those apps come with "com.sec.knox" (see attachment). Or if I have to restore Stock Firmware and go back, where can I find it and how to restore it?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards
You need to flash stock firmware in order to fix! Bcoz of the custom kernel, maybe you lost the private mode functionality.

Thanks, I got back to STOCK with the Indian latest Firmware and it works fine, the Private Mode is here again. I lost root access, but I still have all of my data (picture, apps, everything) even tho I flash back the Stock ROM. And no more Red Notification on Bootloader from SpaceX kernel. I only need to find a way to reset Knox Warranty Void value if I need (hopefully not) to bring my A8 for warranty claim. :fingers-crossed:

Triangle away may or maybe not work, actually its risky, if anything goes wrong, it will brick the device, it mostly works on Qualcomm Powered Samsung Device.
Hi guys
I have run into little problem that I'm hoping learned members here can help me with.
I have a Note 3 SM-9005 that was running Kitkat 4.4.2 and I got it updated to 5.0 from a mobile repair guy. Everything looked smooth until I got home and noticed that now the WiFi does not work anymore. It always stays greyed out and never turns on.
I have tried turning on download booster, smartswitch, nothing helps. I have wiped cache, wipe data / factory reset but that's of no help.
Can you please help me get my WiFi working again.
Many thanks.
Cheers
Boot into download to confirm that the model # is sm-n9005. Is the phone running the latest bootloader and modem?

Should a reinstall be enough? Can you guide me which file should I flash in case the phone was flashed with a wrong firmware previously?
Wondering if following screenshots are of any help figuring out what's up with the firmware update mishap?

Try look at this at Sam mobile:

Would it be compatible with my phone which has a UAE version installed currently?
Ok just checked. It looks to be the Phillipines/Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand version. With some of them branded. Not sure which one I should be picking up?
The stock ROM may be slightly different for each country but you can try the latest Singapore version.

Will it trip Knox? As I would be putting a SIN firmware on a XSI (UAE) handset?
Flashing a stock rom will not trip Knox.
Personally, unless there is warranty left on the phone, I wouldn't worry about tripping the Knox counter.

I have also just noticed that the WiFi hotspot (tethering) doesn't work either.
I downloaded the latest XSI (UAE) firmware and installed it using Odin. But the problem still persists.
Should I try downloading and installing a Singapore firmware?
Is there a possibility that this phone is actually a carrier branded phone and was later debranded and that's why it's having this problem?
Please help life is difficult without Wifi
Does Bluetooth work? It's possible that the phone has a defective wifi chip. I have two galaxy s4 phones that have dead wifi chips but everything else works.
You can try flashinga another country's firmware but not sure if that will help.
Do you have a backup of the efs folder?

Yes the bluetooth works.
The phone's WiFi was working fine before being updated to Lollipop.
No I got it updated from a phone repair guy before I got my hands dirty and put the new firmware my self. So no efs folder backup, unfortunately.
Hmm without knowing what the repair person did to the phone or how the update was performed, it's possible something went wrong during the flash process. Does the phone show the correct imei and MAC address?

He did it in front of me and from memory I can tell that he took a firmware file and used a software (probably Odin) to flash it in download mode.
The phone does show the correct IMEI as written under the battery spot and in device info does show a WiFi mac addresd however I'm unsure how to verify if that may be the correct one.
I have browsed Google and found few other people's posts on different forums who have this exact same problem. Someone suggested that I should reflash the firmware with bootloader checked using Odin.
Do you think it may be of help?
I have just discovered that the serial number on the back of the phone under battery is different from what is reported by the device.
Does this give any hint to what may be the issue?
