There is a no way to root marshmallow as of now
Downgrade to lollipop either ok3 firmware or pb1
and use Jr Kruse ok3 root method on xda in the s5 verizon forum
Then install safestrap and then search XDA forums for how to install rooted mm roms using safestrap on a locked bootloader

Root

I originally bought the SM-G935A S7 edge which was full of bloatware so I flashed the SM-G935U rom from sammobile (AT&T) 7.0 G935UUES4BRA1
Do I root it by CF-AutoRoot or by EngKernel

FYI.... if your phone was originally the g935a, it won't work on sprint... regardless of firmware

Yes as long as they have a root for AT&T, you can also view this forum that has a root using the G935U rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-s7-edge/how-to/successful-root-g935u-g935uueu4bqd2-t3598647

As long as the firmware number is the same or higher, yes. You may need a custom version of ODIN that doesn't check the OS on the device, but any US model can run any US version of firmware. I converted mine a short while after I bought it and it's been running 935U firmware ever since. I would warn you that you can't downgrade the bootloader, but in this case the A firmware is almost invariably more recent than the U firmware so this isn't an issue. (That said, you will have to run firmware built around BL8 or later if you do the upgrade)

Is it possible to use a G930F on Sprint?

Would it be possible to run a Galaxy S7 G930F with say a flash of the G930U firmware and open up the other LTE bands to use with Sprint?
Either that or is there any news on a possible root with the latest G930P bootloader? I didn't think there was any root options for the G930P's previous firmware so I upgraded it as it came out...
