I Flashed some zips with some pixel features (Found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/themes-apps/flashable-zip-night-light-round-icons-t3486794).
Things went well and worked properly. But recently I received an OTA update and, after that, the navbar's home button (which was modifyed to enable pixel animation) stopped working. Everytime the home button is touched, SystemUI fails (shows an error) and restarts.
I am not interested exactly in the solution for the issue, I want to learn here.
- What are my options to get rid of this issue?
- Am I able to revert the navbar to stock?
- Is it possible to debug the error and fix it myself?
- Is another flashable navbar a viable option?
- I have a backup from before the OTA update. Is it useful somehow?
Thank you all in advance!

Hello guys, after an upgrade from Purity 4.3 to stock 4.4 (by flashing the factory image) it seems that I've lost all my notifications. Even when I hit the notification button, nothing appears. I can hear notifications, but I don't know where're they coming from, kinda disturbing :/. The menu button on the navbar doesn't work either, both were used to work flawlessly on my N4. Any ways of solving that ? Maybe flash a custom ROM and/or kernel again ?
After flashing TWRP in fastboot mode I can use it as the default recovery like it should and it works flawlessly except when I want to reboot.
As soon as I click on reboot in TWRP the phone freezes and I have to long press the power button to turn it off.
Is this a known bug or is there a fully working TWRP build somewhere?
Thanks in advance
There's currently no official build of TWRP for the OnePlus Two, only a few chinese versions which seem to be slightly customized. Are you using a theme for TWRP? I got the same behavior due to a (seemingly) custon dialog which asks if you want to disable automatic reflashes of the stock recovery and a theme that couldn't handle the described screen.
Hmm, I am using the Play theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/theme-twrp-materialised-dark-light-play-t2915584 which works without a problem on my LG-G2.
Could it be a problem on the OnePlus 2?

Click to collapse
Do not use a theme on the OnePlus 2, the chinese TWRP has an extra screen that themes cannot handle, leading to it essentially freezing when you click restart/shutdown etc.
Simply remove the theme and all will be well. (or hold the power button to turn the phone off if you really must use a theme, I had no ill effects when doing that, but reverted my theme anyway.)
when the official TWRP comes out, you can use themes again.
Guys, as I had faced some major problems related to the flashing yesterday for which I had created a thread Zenfone 5, Stuck at ASUS Logo . Now After solving that problem by flashing Kitkat and than back to Lollipop. I can't access the notification panel, home button and Recent apps button are not working and the whole background is just black . May be it is a issue with the SystemUI ( don't know). But after Updating from UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.540-user (Flashed through ADB as suggested by Paktepu in the previus thread) to UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-3.24.40.87-user by system update notification, this problem is occurring. I have tried to restart the phone many times but nothing has happened till now. Screenshots are not working . Lockscreen is not working. Unable to set a wallpaper.
So suggest a way to fix this.
What I am gonna try is :
1. Going to flash the UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-3.24.40.87 Lollipop Rom through ADB.
2. Going to flash the UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.540-user(Kitkat) -> UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-3.24.40.60(Lollipop) -> UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-3.24.40.78(Lollipop) -> UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-3.24.40.87(Lollipop) Rom through system update using the same way I had used to Update my phone to Lollipop which was successfully worked.
If there is any more possibilities by which this can be easily fixed then Do share. Your valuable suggestion can help me fix this problem .
Does nobody else have this issue? When unlocking my phone all I see is my wallpaper about 50% of the time, the only way to get to my lockscreen is to keep pressing the power button until I get the lockscreen. I have had it on EVERY firmware available and now am wondering if its not a hardware issue. I finally updated to the latest firmware after being on .198 since nougat xposed was released and even after a fresh wipe and ftf install locking and unlocking on the get started screen results in a blank lockscreen, WHY?
Hi guys,
Tried several pie custom roms in the last 2-3 months however now I am back to stock i.e. "potter-twrp-flashable-OPS28.85-17-2-aroma" I am rooted with latest magisk also have twrp. Viper4androidFX is working excellent.
On stock 8.1, I am facing below major issues:-
1) there is no vibration on call connect/disconnect, call waiting. (I have root but how to enable?!)
2) I am in the process of "enabling wireless display" through build.prop editing.
3) the volte icon on status bar is taking up imp space, tried system ui tuner but there is no option to simply disable/remove it.
Have some more issues but those are minor I can work with them because stock has excellent battery and stability also no "Force Close" $hit.
Edit: I have successfully edited build.prop and enabled wireless display, it works even after reboots.
