Kcal is actually the hardware's display settings exposed by a sysfs interface
What zip? You need to compile a kernel with the patch to get this feature

Are you sure you didn't unknowingly flash a kernel?

I can make the kernel show perf+ too
Just need to change one variable in the defconfig and 2 exported variables in the shell
Why don't you try a ROM that comes with kcal, like seraph's build or try out something like halogenos
Or maybe you can find my thread in the development session and flash my ROM and custom kernel from there?
Anyways if you want kcal on hydrogenos, boeffla kernel, I'm not going to say it again

This does not work for me. Exactly how and where do I put this line? By the way, while were talking about init.d, init.d doesn't work in your XT1031 Stock Optimized 4.4.4 ROM with Archidroid init.d. Been meaning to go on your thread and mention this.

I compiled a permissive kernel of SM-T705, based on the stock kernel, I basically changed nothing but the Selinux status. For those who do not like "enforcing" status, you can use this kernel for a while and wait for further optimisation.
I flashed this image with flashify on an SM T705, everything works fine.

Have u tried with kernel adiutor? I never used stock permissive kernel, but u can tweak the Corsicanu or Bulgaricus kernels very straightforward to stay permissive...
I suggest u to update your TWRP to lastest and official one for our device 3.1.1. by Vince.
Also using the command "getenforce"u can change selinux state, but u said don't understand using terminal...
I try this kernel auditor, but i dont found anything about selinux on it, i have terminal installed as well, ive try what ive found on another topic about comands (setenforce 0 etc) but it doesnt work, I dont know anything about this kernel thing will it change my phone? UI, apps etc?

Kernel will not change your ROM, it's like changing the motor of your car for example.
There's plenty of TouchWiz kernels for j5 from Bulgaricus and Corsicanu, as they're custom kernels for stock, they have different settings and options than stock kernel lacks of. With kernel adiutor you will find selinux option in some of them if not all.

For this app to work you have to patch your kernel with hid patch and then recompile your kernel. If you have a custom ROM then try resurrection remix ROM, it contains the required patch in kernel.
For any other information you can ask me...
