Anyone notice that apps close in the background when you switch between them even if it's for a second? Currently on the b08 version. If it has happened to anyone can you tell me how you fixed it please if at all?

You have to go:
Settings>Energy Management>Energy Management for Applications>App protection list.
From there, you go to "Allow screen-lock cleaning" and you disabled all the applications you want to keep on background.
After that, you have to reboot and it will work like a charm.
Even when I disabled all the management settings for Google clock - it won't wake up me

Strange, did you reboot?, another thing you can try is to delete de cache, just restart the phone and leave the Vol+ press and you can have the option "Wipe cache", and then reboot.
That's what I did exactly, even when other people is reporting strange bugs that are gone after factory reset, because it seems that some configurations get stuck between updates.
Thanks I think your first post worked for me but tbh I already had most of that disabled for my apps it's just when I restarted it all worked haha but thanks for that

Long story short, my gps just kept coming on by itself even after turning it off multiple times. Even after rooting, installing twrp and flashing Clean Rom 1.1 (THANKS SCOTT) it was still there. Looks like it was the carrier IQ causing the issue. I've done these three steps and haven't seen it since. Step 1: Settings>Location access> check 'Wi-Fi & Mobile network location' then uncheck 'GPS Satellite'. Step 2: On your device go to Settings>apps>runnings>Android System> IQServices> Stop. Step 3: Download 'Disable Services' app, open the app and go to android system the uncheck IQServices. That should solve the problem, also I use Wakelock and Greenify. Wakelock allows me to see what apps run while my phone is suppose to be idle and Greenify lets me put apps in hibernation so they wont do anything or process anything unless I actually open the app. I have an ATT G2 by the way..
Do you have any issues with knock on with greenify?

There was someone talking about how greenify broke knock on, but it ended up he just had a craptastic screen protector out on it. After he took it off it was fine.

Nope! So damn, I factory reset after I rooted, maybe I need to do another one :/
I noticed that my phone would heat up and the battery would drain quickly... then I found this gem.
Activate developer mode... then go into it and all the way at the bottom you can limit background running apps. So far I haven't had a problem

Few days ago, Huawei release the final "stable" firmware for our MT7... But as all we know, this rom is like other previous betas, maybe it's more stable, good feeling, smooth and long battery life. But still we can found many bugs. Lets make a known bug list for this release, like...
. Fingerprint sensor, doesn't work on "Slide down to show notificacion panel"
- Turn off vibration on silence, Just work once. When you press + volume, option to vibrate it's turn on again.
- Fast screenshot, strong double tap with knuckles doesn't work
Any bug else ???
Will go the pin screen at random.
Sent from my HUAWEI MT7-L09 using Tapatalk
I don't know if it's a bug but it's bugging me - dual windows feature is just available for a few apps, I don't understand why Huawei won't make it for all. It's just a joke.
Many people mentioned swipe gesture on fingerprint sensor, I can't find this setting, where is it?
Sent from my HUAWEI MT7-L09 using Tapatalk
Knuckle is working for me. No random pin screens. About that notifications with fingerprint there is no such option. In b324 if you clean install. You only have it if you came from beta or if you flashed transition package to fix some bugs. Ofc its useless never gonna work as its not included in b324.
Suggest you do a clean install from b137 as huawei suggests and then start a port for bugs because obviously since you have that notification bar - fingerprint option you did not follow official steps

-WiFi takes ages to connect..
-when locking phone sound is same as when unlocking
-swiping down on right side won't open right side or left
-I don't think battery is any better (will test again from 100
When I opened Messaging app twice by tapping on the messaging icon, I saw 2 separate instances of it when I pressed the square button.

From what I belive. This is simply what I belive. That because China don't really allow anything other than their China region app. The notification file for anything other than that might not work. Assuming if you own the international version(English ). Notification might work.

after rooting just uninstall phone manger apk and it will be fixed with receiving notifications like my old p8max
phone manager is crap app just holding receiving notifications all the time
Don't uninstall phone manager!
Just change the Doze settings to an interval that you are happy with for receiving notifications. You have to root to do that, too, though. But you will save more power this way.
New firmware update
First thing I noticed after the update (B137) is that alarm clock notification has stopped working! WTF!

None. I have a L29 that was given to CES press. There are some floating around on eBay.
Hi guys
I did a clean installation of C00B220 ROM on my PLK-AL10 (reverted from B395, formatted the phone) and put Google play store back from backup, using Hisuite.
However I noticed that programs relaying on Google Play services won't sync on mobile network when the screen was off. When I woke up the phone they SOMETIMES synced but mostly not.
I think the problem is based on "Google Play Serivces" is not properly installed.
I removed it and all google apps and wanted to install play services from apkmirror. I tried both 270 and 280 variants, and after installation, when I want to sign in, they say "Wi-fi or mobile data aren't available" (of course I have connection). When I start e.g. Gmail, it says Gmail relays on Google Play Services which is not supported by your device.
The phone is not rooted but I can root it if needed.
Pls help.
1) wrong category, next time put it in q&a/troubleshooting
2) As far as i know, all necessary Google stuff should be included in the stock Rom...

1) Ok.
2) I could install Play Services, first I tried with the wrong version. 248 is the correct one. Sync is still a problem. Right after the installation I received emails (gmail) immediately, but after a while I got them just when I woke up the screen.

Yes but as I said I had many apps running in the background even when the screen is off (they're protected). Screen is far not the biggest consumer. Currently the top consumers are: Android OS - 21%, Android System - 20%, Google Play Services - 17%)
Bluetooth, Mobile network / Wifi are always on.
I did not see a big difference between "Smart" and "Performance", maybe 10-15% battery drain by the end of the day. This is fine for me. And I have Lollipop, it may consume more than Marshmallow.
