Have you tried booting recovery from adb and fastboot?
It requires PC / computer. You can search it in google.

Yeah,it's booting into recovery when I use minimal and and fast boot. But when its booting to recovery,it's saying me to enter into read-write mode. When I swipe to enter read-write mode, iam not able to wipe any partitions and I am not able to install any custom ROMs.

I think it's because the encryption on your internal storage.
Try re-installing your TWRP and wipe all including data on recovery option.I hope it can solve the problem.

bricked?

Hi,
I tried out ubuntu touch and wanted to revert to stock before flashing cm (because I havn't had a rom on my storage).
After flashing the stock image via fastboot (using that flash-all.sh included in official download) my nexus stucks at boot animation.
Then I flashed recovery (I tried both, CWM and TWRP) and tried to do a factory reset -> unable to mount internal storage, also the space of my internal storage was 0MB (obviously because it can't mount anything), so it exited with an error. Then I formatted just every partion in CWM and I was able to mount again, flashed stock image ... stuck at boot animation. Tried flashing cm via sideload... stuck at boot animation.
Google didn't helped me.
Does somebody know what to do now?
Thanks
Bagbag
After you flash the stock image boot into the stock recovery and do a factory reset. Should solve your problem

you should only have to clear the cache...factory reset shouldn't be necessary. Remember if you do have to do a factory reset, it will wipe all your storage completely if you use stock recovery to do it. Don't forget to back everything up first!

Does not work, it just stays at the screen with dat red triangle. Also vol up + power at same and other things I found in google don't work.
I already made backups, but anyway, they wouldn't help me in any way, if I don't have a working phone..

Boot into fastboot mode. Then from your pc with your device hooked up via usb type fastboot boot recovery. See if that will get you into recovery
Sent from my Nexus 5
It says 'cannot load 'recovery'' and also, I tried flashing ubuntu touch again and it worked.
Edit:
I think it has something to do with my /data partition. It said unable to mount /data again. After fixing that (for some reason it works if I select "format /data and /data/media (/sdcard)" (CWM) I can also format /data. But there a difference between that an all other partitions: for every other partition its like that: mount -> format -> unmount, but for /data it just don't do the last step, it stays mounted.
No on an idea? Do I need to send it in?
Try downloading The Root Toolkit Here.
Connect your phone, open the toolkit. On The First Page select "Soft-Bricked/Bootloop" and Flash Stock+Unroot.
This should Help.
Yeeeeeeey, I have no idea what the tool did, but it works now
Thank you for the tip

I have rooted stock firmware installed in my Asus Zenfone 2 laser with bootloader unlocked.

Kernel Version : 3.10.49-gf41b7aa
I have tried to install custom ROMs ( XenonHD , Lineageos and CosmicOS) but everytime phone stucks in boot just showing the logo. and I have waited for around 30mins.:crying:
How to install custom rom then? why is the phone always getting stuck there? Please help.
And I follow the following steps to install any custom rom:
1) Boot into TWRP Recovery.
2) Wipe dalvik, cache, system and data.
3) Install Rom.
4) Install Gapps.
5) Reboot.
Is your TWRP the permanent one? Or you'd have to flash it via fastboot evetytime?

It's dm-verity or encryption. Believe you need to find a kernel that disables forced dm-verity. Magisk should disable it when you install it. I'd sideload it using adb.

Even if you install Magisk, the problem persists. How would the adb sideload situation work? I read the topic on the TWRP site but I was confused.

Flash an another TWRP, like latest 4PDA TWRP => https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RXCY8_a2dwUXGF7uO5B3yg9Tu93hkRdR
And use "Reboot to System" in TWRP.

Damaged File System - Need Fastboot Help

Unlocked Mediapad M3 wifi 713, damaged file system showing 0 storage, managed to get TWRP installed via fastboot, but TWRP is unable to change/repair any partition. I've tried to use "fastboot format:ext4 userdata" but I get the "remote: command not allowed" error.
Is there some way to use fastboot commands? Or some terminal command from TWRP?
thanks, jf
Bro have you unlocked the bootloader and it would be very helpfull to know how you corrupted the data partion,it could be solved maybe if you enter the second recovery (erecovery) and click on download lastest firmware install or so , then after its done with the installition it will probably not boot click power and volume down wait, do it some times until you get to the bootloader and unlock it, after factory reset it should boot but first explain a little more about your issue we dont want to srew your device up

Not sure how things got corrupted, had installed Linage on it, but was not able to download files from any installed program. Reinstalled Linage and it blew up. Erecovery fails to download anything, don't know why. I followed the instructions here https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/help/format-data-using-twrp-3-0-2-t3371137 to format all partitions, and still TWRP only sees 0 space, can't do anything with it..
In short - can't see how anything could screw it up more!
which version of twrp is currently installed and normally for format matters only data partition is used, have you formated the system partition too,
maybe we can try to force install the update zip / you were on nougat then lineage oreo and then in the current state right?

TWRP is 3.0.3-0 It is failing to mount /data (Invalid argument) nor can it mount any other partition.
Yes, was on stock nougat, then Linage oreo, then reinstalled Linage and got current state.
When I try to install zip from PC, it appears to be successful - but apparently is not.

I'm having the same issue basically storage is off limits to my apps.
The developer of the Linux 15 ROM is aware of the issue, it's on the list to be fixed.
