So I have working OMNIROM 7.1 for my device, however, weird little bugs happen sometimes such as screen rotation stopping, Mobil data suddenly not working (even with LTE+ indicator) and other little things that are fixed for a while on reboot. Is there an official way to diagnose and patch these little things?

Hi all,
I've recently installed the ICS ColdFusionX ROM tillals 15/05 build, on my Orange Sanfrancisco (ZTE Blade) (gen1 - TPT'd to gen2).
After some initial problems I now only have one problem blocking me from using this ROM as my daily...
When I go to make a call (and possibly also when someone calls me) the call is established but the phones screen goes black. The UI and buttons then effectively become disabled meaning I can't hangup the call, or exit without removing the battery :-(
This is a real shame as it otherwise seems to be an excellent ROM... I really can't believe how fast and smooth it is!
I've looked around, and can't see anyone else mention this issue (when establishing calls from the device itself). The few posts I've seen suggest recalibrating the proximity sensor and rebooting, but I've tried that and no luck :-( any ideas???
Thanks greatly.
Update
After re-installing and experiencing the same problem, I managed to resolve it simply by recalibrating the proximity sensor (and not reseting/rebooting).
this problem has been fixed try fixed try flashing the rom again
I just updated to Nougat and after a few hours my fingerprint scanner starts acting really weird. Sometimes it picks up my finger but takes a few seconds to unlock and other times it just doesn't work (no haptic feed back at all). A reboot fixes it for a bit but it eventually starts acting up again. Anyone else experiencing this? I have seen similar issues in the past on MM but never had this problem until today. Also didn't find any fixes (besides other people saying to reboot).
+1 for the delayed unlock. You're not alone. Many others have reported the same problem post Nougat update.
You're not alone. I observed delays as well, especially after the Nougat update
I haven't noticed a change, but have read that if you change the following it should improve
Settings>Developer Options>Animator Duration Scale = .5x
My fingerprint scanner is almost instant.
You can also try installing Ninja kernel. The fingerprint scanner works using the big cluster instead of the little like the stock kernel. My fingerprint scanner is almost instant with this setup.
Hi all,
I recently upgraded from 4.4.2 stock rom to 6.0.1 stock rom and everything worked fine except the GPS. I tried a few different fixes like changing the gps.conf, and a few different apps and could see there was some signal but it could never seem to get a lock. Sometimes it seemed to get a lock for a split second then drop it again.
I ended up going back to my 4.4.2 and GPS works fine again. So the simple conclusion is this is firmware based. I'm no expert but would be willing to help if someone wants to investigate this further. There has to be some GPS related files from the KK firmware that can be exported to MM to make it work

GPS has always been kinda weak and slow due to the module itself. Did you experience the auto brightness bug as well?

Auto-brightness was working fine for me. Just the GPS issue noted.
hey guys i have the phone for almost a year now, without problems but suddenly the fingerprint sensor stopped working and the phone was lagging extremely hard, the sensor works partially but not with a recognizable pattern, sometimes it may work (if im lucky to enroll a FP)
ive tried everything, re-partitioned back to stock, flashed stock, changed kernels, flash non treble, every rom has the same problem
does anyone else faced any similar issues?
Hello everyone!
Recently I installed RR 5.8.5 (android 7.12 nougat), along with nano Gapps and a custom kernel (Raiden Kernel at first, then switched over to HYPER n UPSTREAM). Everything is running smoothly, except during calls.
The problem is that when I have a bluetooth device connected (and acting as phone audio), if I try to switch from bluetooth audio to handheld from the in-call menu, my phone freezes and I have to restart it. It's really annoying and any help with the issue will be appreciated!
There was another occasion where something similar happened, I just couldn't close the call. It kept running in the background even though the other person had closed it and eventually my phone froze again.
Happens under both kernels, which is why I think it's from the OS. I'm a bit of a flash-noob, so I don't know how to get crash logs and stuff like that, so if you need any, you'd have to tell me how to get them.
