Meticulus will start working on a nougat custom rom within 3 months. Could be cm14/14.1, could also be a different one.

It doesnt just switch names, its a new project. Cyanogenmod's custom roms are still here but cyanogenmod will not be updated to newer versions.

Yeah I know, but I still wanted to know, as I have participated in porting cm to my old phone, but I haven't seen any actual changes from cm in lineage OS, even the source name is not changed in most references, so if there is a dec group already up and running I'd like to join it as 1) I could polish my skills and 2) I have a little experience with porting cm in dev groups. If there is no actual groups yet made, contact me with PM and we shall see how many devs there are.

There are a couple of things on github, some for the p8 lite, I haven't managed to track much down. Would love CM as well.
Quite satisfied with the latest Gratitude ROM though.
I saw this post, but project seems to be dead. Can any dev confirm working on it?

MultiROM, Flyme, MIUI
I hope MultiROM Support, MIUI and a Flyme OS port come to the Axon 7 in the future. I miss those days when I could switch between the three on my old M8.
So.
since the last post is some months old.
Would anybody be so gently to port this rom to our loved Axon 7 :fingers-crossed:
or can anybody can tell me why it should not be possible to port this Rom to the Axon?

Hello, if you don't know the specs of Redmi 4 prime: here is a link
As you see, specs are pretty much the same except screen size.
Now , we had @Razziell who quit( 1, 2)(His Source Codes)
But @Blackeyed73 had an idea, since you are big community compared to us
so if anyone read this and want to help,
youre welcome!
Thanks for reading, and sorry for bothering you guys
Do you guys have a Nougat kernel source?

Not officially from Xiaomi, but Razziell sources are very good, his last RR is almost bugless.
Latest ROMs are based on the newest 3.18.31 kernel.

I own a redmi 4 prime and since xiaomi almost left us for dead, please if someone with skills develop for us it would be great, unfortunately our community lacks official support. They don't care about R4P even if it's the same hardware as Note 4X which is vastly supported by xiaomi.
I wander is there some tool to tell us how similar or different markw and mido? We know about screen size, is there something else ?
If they pretty similar is it possible to add some hardware in kernel and use same kernel for markw and mido? That would be a best scenario because practically same ROM will be working on both phones and development of ROMS for R4P will be merged with RN4SD. This is probably just a wet dream

ro.product.name=markw
ro.build.product=markw
Hope someone will confirm them with TWRP terminal.

Thread closed as OP has posted in the Redmi 4 Prime section
Hi guys,
I wanted to try out a new ROM for my device and so, I'm asking you: which are the best ROMs for our device? I know that there are a lot of GSI and other devices compatible ROMs, but which are them? I'm afraid of flashing something uncompatible and causing bootloop, that is a bit hard to face since it's my primary and only device, and for this I'm asking you.
What I need: no great bugs (it will be my daily ROM), smooth feel (I'm kind of obsessed by things like this, call me a fool, but THAT feel is half of the beauty of a ROM imho, lol) and Pie-Based with all the gestures (maybe Google Now in the launcher, but I don't know if this is possible mantaining the gestures).
I hope I'm not asking something that is impossible and thanks in advance for everyone who will answer!
I'd recommend the openkirin RR rom, it's oreo but it's stable as hell and made for kirin chipsets.

Most treble roms don't work well with Huawei devices, OpenKirin is workin on an AOSP Pie rom but it's still in early beta stages, you can find it on xda forums.
