Hello. Today I saw, that my phone can't make and recive calls. I can web browsing and send messages, but call no. How to solve it? In my iPhone everything is working. 2 days ago i reinstalled soft. Yesterday I played with "Secret codes" (in diall app, like this http://mobilespecs.net/phone/codes/LeEco/LeEco_Le_Pro_3.html). Today, when I saw the problem, I reinstalled OS via updater and newest version. It didnt work, so I did factory reset. Again, fail. I tried to repair it, but still no effect. If anybody knows, what it is, please to help me. May "Phone Info" from *#*#4636#*#* command ruined it.
Please, help me.
Le Pro 3, x720, 5.9.020s stock.
Tried to solve. Did it. Wiped, downgraded to 18s, wiped (all apps crashed before), did. So, may I stay at 18s...

After rooting, I cannot receive phone calls or SMS messages. Even after making a call and changing "Searching for Service" to "Verizon Wireless", I still can't.
Does anyone know a fix for this? I really want to keep root, but there's no point of having a phone if you cannot receive phone calls.
I would suggest download the STOCK firmware, install it go thru the setup process. Then flash what ever firmware you are wanting to root a d you should be fine. The important part let it boot up on stock and check everything out before you root.
Same thing happened to me today after the pe1 root. I tried everything to get my text to receive. Only would recieve texts the First two minutes. Ended reverting to stock pe1 and got all my texts from this morning to now

I believe I have found the issue. I have returned to stock after the same thing happened to me. Re-rooted and after I set everything back up it happened again. It says "searching for service" in the status bar and lockscreen. Phone status in settings shows out of service.
-- I ended up reflashing the v15 fix for a second time, first was right after I rooted and wiped the cache partition. I am now able to send/recieve texts and phone calls now. Hope this helps
Reflash v15 fix
Do what Kole said – reflash the v15 zip. I had the same problem. I reflashed stock and it worked for about a day before I had the same problem again. Anyways, in order to find the cause, I used my wife’s phone to call mine every time I made a substantial change, for example, after rooting, after flashing one of the fixes, after flashing Xposed… I even did it every time I activated a single module. Long story short, it came back but didn’t seem to be directly caused by anything. After going to safe mode, uninstalling xposed, even calling Verizon to reset my connection with them, nothing worked… until I reflashed the v15 zip. I’ve been going strong for about a month now without any problems.
Same issue but still not working after flash

So I'm in a similar boat, but my sms/calling issues have returned after about a day of flashing the v15 zip. So far I've probably reflashed it like 5 times in the last 5 days. It works without fail so far, but this is not a permanent solution. Could it be some setting configuration? Any feedback is appreciated.

What build are you on?
This is a pretty weird one, so I'm gonna cut to the chase...
Several weeks ago I got my a new phone (Galaxy s7 Edge, AT&T, Qualcomm) and everything was fine. I'd never rooted a phone before and wanted to try it out, even though the Edge was still pretty new. After about 2-3 weeks of owning my phone, I followed a guide to root. The root only worked after a factory reset, so I lost my apps and pictures, but it wasn't a big deal because it was just a couple weeks' worth of stuff. Everything works fine for a month or so, and then most of the apps started crashing. Some, like Google Chrome or Spotify would work, but most didn't. All the services on my phone also stopped. I figured it was a problem with the root and said oh well and factory reset my phone. I set it up normally again and all was well. But then things got weird.
Now, after about 1 week, my phone will do the same thing as when rooted. First Snapchat stops working, followed by a multitude of other apps. Google Play store stops opening, I'm unable to install apps, and several core features of the phone just freeze up. If i try rebooting (how I discovered the issue), my phone gets stuck in a bootloop and I have to factory reset to work again. My phone did this again today after a few times so finally I'm coming here for help. I also recently discovered that factory resetting my phone from the settings app did nothing, as soon as I rebooted it went into a bootloop. So the only way to recover my phone is to factory reset from the recovery mode. It may also be worth noting that I used ODIN to flash the AP, BL, CP, and CSC stock firmware (G935AUCU1APB5 etc...) after I wanted to unroot. I have absolutely no clue what's wrong and any fixes or even an explanation would be greatly appreciated.
go into recovery and try cleaning the caches, there maybe stray bits of old code floating around.

Yeah I've done that a couple times. I went ahead and did it just now though so we'll see
I recently updated my phone to Nougat, about two days ago and was working fine, but suddenly the phone calls started to malfunction. I can't hear anything, even when it's calling another phone. Is someone experiencing the same with the same phone or similar models?
Hi, backup all of your data and perform a factory reset from settings. DO NOT perform a wipe from recovery as this will turn on FRP lock. I had the same problem after updating to nougat i couldn't hear anything when calling and also couldn't receive calls. My model is also J510MN. Factory reset seems to have solved the problem.
First of all, I'm going to describe the problem:
Daily, apps keeps crashing, random apps (but mostly google ones), and after that or them continue crashing or the phone freezes itself and I'm forced to reboot or itself reboots. Not so often, in addition (it just occured 3 times, in several roms), it appears that "Can't load system. You data mau be corrupted" and I have to restart again, and It says that I the error happens again, I'd have to do a hard reset.
About the phone:
I bought it knowing the issue, someone tried to flash a rom and it probably deleted the imei and this person flashed another imei (I think it's probably someone in a center that didn't have the box of the smartphone and knowing nothing about chinese smartphones, since I live in Brazil, and just flashed a random imei found in internet). I bought another one mi a1 with the imei deleted but I could recovery with the one in the box normally and it didn't have the reboot problem after fixed the imei and persist.img.
What I tried:
I didn't know about the imei first, so I just flashed a nougat stock rom and thought the problem was solved, but it wasn't. I tried both nougat and oreo stock roms and it just happens the same. Then, I found in some discussion here that it could be the ambient display, even turning it off, failed. After that I found that it also could be the Chrome webview, turned off, failed again. After all that I realized that the imei was wrong, did not match the box, and I could affect that way, I tried then changing the imei to the ones in the box, and I did change using the QPST: I flashed the stock using factory reset to erase the old imei and flashed some rom, flashed persist.img, changed imei with QPST. Failed again. Oh, and I tested a custom rom 8.1 too, the LineageOS, failed.
What I'm considering to do now (without a lot of hope):
To flash Nougat stock with EDL mode. (Is it different from fastboot mode?)
Someone have an idea? I'm running out of options.
Hi all, earlier this morning, my phone was working perfectly fine. Somehow, 5 mins later after checking my phone, the screen was unable to be switched on, so I decided to hold onto my power button. My phone came alive subsequently, but all my apps were missing, and all that's left were the MIUI apps. I've attempted to reflash 10.3.15 xiaomi.eu but to no avail. My "other files" shows that it's 20gb as well, so could it be that my old files were there? Anyone has any encounters or solutions for this?
I experience same problem. But the thing is im using official MIUI and havent done any bootloader unlock. I dont know if this is hardware problem or what.
Same issue here. Stable Rom on the 9T (10.3.11). Phone just went dead this afternoon. Screen wouldn't power up. Held down the power button... Took a few extra seconds to start up then a few minutes to boot.
I lost all my settings, my data, my whatsapp messages, all my apps... And the phone started with just my miui apps. Ironically, sms were still there, fingerprint still loaded, call settings gone... Weird.
This is concerning since their hasn't been a Rom update in months and this issue popped up out of nowhere... And it's happened to a few of us.

For some reason partition was corrupted.
Happen usually when FSYNC is off.. but it should not on stock ROM.
I would suggest to flash another ROM, even if stock since your version must have this nasty bug
Or you just booted to safemode? Just reboot it normally and you get all of your apps back.
Rebooting doesn't replace the apps. They are gone. The file manager showing that the phone has 10GB more available storage reinforces that. Whatever the bug is, it's affected 2 different official roms and a xiaomi.eu rom. This isn't good.
i experience the-same thing on miui 10 eu stable. that's why i switch on miui 11, even if it is beta i think it is most stable yet so far.
Same here. On stock ROM, over the last months, my phone crashed and was hot. I had to press the power button during 10 seconds to reboot. It happened 4 times, and the last time it happened, all my apps were gone. I contacted xiaomi support via chat, they told me to ask for a RMA if it happens again.
I unlocked the bootloader & installed xiaomi.eu MIUI 11.0.3.0 yesterday, I'll give it a few weeks to see how it evolves. If it crashes again, I'll ask for a RMA.
Hello does any one knows why is this happening?
Yesterday happen to me.
