[request][unlock additional bands] unlock additional bands for oneplus 2 - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i know there are threads asking for unlocking bands but its been a while and now some people managed to unlock additional bands on oneplus 3, so there are guides for op1 and op3, and i think it could be possible for op2 too, but unfortunetely i don't have any knowledge to make it happen, so anybody could try one more time? and here is thread for oneplus 3
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/guide-unlock-additional-lte-bands-t3519563

I have some progress but too lazy to make a thread...
Basically you need the oneplus one guide with op3's rmt storage patch.
The mi note pro unlock thread is also a good reference because we both use sd810...

Have you actually unlocked more bands though? If so, which ones?
This was something I was going to start testing soon, but the OPO when I attempted this, it did not work and I did not get any new bands.
OP2 that's fine we can use the rmt storage patch, but the question is qcn wise, does it need to also be replaced due to encryption? If so, do we have a qcn template without IMEI that we can do this as they had on the OP3?
Or can we use QPST/QXDM or DFS to read/write values from NV Calculator?
I figured I'd ask here before attempting methods already tried.

New nexus q owner

Greetings xda,
I just got a new Q from eBay and after I have read the last Q related posts in this forum I still have few questions so...
Is there any way to use it with the stock ROM now that the q app is broken? If yes how to configure, connect to WiFi & enable debugging?
If no are there any Roms apart of cyanogens? Which one is the best? Do custom Roms ulitize its rgb LEDs?
Thank you very much in advance.

follow the guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2408799 i made in here you cant miss it. Also you can use the nexus project rom that the dev talked about at the end of he post. Which is better imho than the other due to it being dual boot.

Xperia Z3+ Current Root Status for Noobs

Hello All,
With all the chatters about rooting available for both Xperia z3+ dual and single sim, I thought it would be appropriate to start a thread where noobs may be able to get information regarding the root status of the phone.
Can someone please explain to me (and other noobs, if there are any,) what is the current status? I'm particular interested in the E6533 Dual Sim version with Build Number 32.1.A.1.185. since that is the model of my phone. If there is a tutorial I would be forever grateful if someone can be kind enough to link it here. Thank you all so much, this community is awesome!
I have that phon
I have that phon and I try all rooted kernels but mobile hangs and random reboot I return it to factory reset by flashboot and work some time good then make reboot it seems the developers don't work on dual sim phone sorry for my bad English
So essentially no root for the dual sim? :'(
That would be great if someone writes some "How-to..." Root and Backup and wth are those "different partitions", i think you should backup some of them before doing anything else. I am not a beginner with Android and Rooting and so on, but i come from HTC and this is my first Sony Phone and its really different. I know that there are severall Threads about this, but all the informations are split into a dozend threads and if you are a beginner with Sony its really hard to understand what is the "actually" best you can do.
Great topic, I would also like to know how to. Dont want to lose some goodies such as the excellent noise cancelation and the cameras many functions
Guys, that topic we have already had a number of times. Please use the search function and find (also for the Dual-SIM):

That is basically the problem. These "tutorials" are hidden in several threads and not visible to everybody. Of course you can use the search function and it's highly encouraged to do that. But at the same time we need somebody that has successfully rooted this phone to write a proper decently up-to-date "how to" thread so that everybody knows that they can find the necessary steps to root/backup/etc. their device successfully. Although, OP says noob friendly, I think it's also enough if anyone can follow the steps without hassle and getting lost quickly (understandable = decent English). I mean, I don't force anybody to do this, but it would be highly appreciated by many other users if somebody could take the time to create it.

Again, it does already exist but yes, a little bit of effort is required. Just follow...
Step 1:

Step 2:

Easy enough?

So step one doesnt work, it says device not working.

I have successfully rooted the phone with TA backup, recovery and root for a few weeks now and I have zero problems. I wrote a guide for tablet z4 in its general forum. The procedure is a bit different for z3+. If there is a need for it and I have time today I will do the same for this phone and post it in the general forum.
I posted a complete guide in the general forum.

How difficult is to port Mokee ROM & Recovery from Axon 7 to ZMAX PRO?

Hey guys,
I have been in contact with developers at Mokee ROM, but it looks like they are unable to accomplish the task. One of the developers responded me on the forum that no one has this phone here, so we can't really work on it.
I was thinking we could do something based on our own. Is it possible to port ROM from Axon 7 to ZMAX PRO?
Link: https://download.mokeedev.com/?device=axon7
Phone comparison: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8096&idPhone2=8067
Thank you!
How many forums are you going to post this?
There is no root for the Zmax Pro. No root No custom ROM.

Why? Am I breaking any rule by posting on other forums? I guess, NO!
There are people I am talking to, and they are willing to work on it.

Nemesis Refined galaxy note 8 pprt Rom for note 4

When is the next update for this Rom? I have updated from 3.8.5 to 3.8.6 by downloading the patch. It has solved some problems but I had still problems with 360 surround shot, animated gif and finger print sensor still fails to work. I m using a 3rd party application for finger scanner but it's not a super stable though it's pretty fine. Is there any note 8 port available for note 4? I mean the nemesis refined note 8 port Rom for note 4 with device model sm-n910c? If you have seen please share the link of that post thank you so much.

So easily you're telling. I don't know where to find the main thread and all. It's all damn confusing. You could have posted a link rather than telling me wrong thread so it would helped me.
Can any moderator delete this useless thread please?

Your post is about 3.8.5 and patch/update 3.8.6, well it sounds like you are talking about Nemesis Refined 6.0.1. That ROM has a thread already, so why create a new thread to ask questions or to comment about an existing ROM/thread?. You could post your comment/question in the Nemesis Ref. 6.0.1 forum. That is the point everyone has made, you can post were you got the ROM from, but read the OP first.

which is the best pie rom with dirty flashing or any fota type

Can't clean all data every time... Need your views
I have the same problem. Clearing data every time is just too tiring. One solution is using Migrate but that also isn't hassle-free.
Indeed migrate is helpful, still it's almost 6 months etc, I guess some ROM should be a bit more stable to allow that.. haven't tested all that's why this thread.
Keep your responses coming guys
Don't create threads in the wrong section. This is purely for development of ROMs,kernels, etc of the device. There are other sections to ask such questions.
Thread will be closed

Can you please move this to the right place?
And or suggest where should I move it
There is a Question/Answer thread. You can move it there..
So any updates guys
