So I have this ROM here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/sm-g935f-nougat-t-mobile-wifi-calling-t3514431
It's basically a modified version of a different Nougat ROM in order to get WiFi calling and VoLTE on T-Mobile networks.
I want to know if there is a way to use Android Pay on it.
In the install, there are ways to not install root and leave it stock but Android Pay still won't function.
Is there anyway to make it work?

Hi all, I am getting a sprint LG G2 soon and I am wondering if there is a way that I can use a verizon rom on it. If I can what do I have to do to port it over?
BEFORE YOU DO THIS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACK UP!!!!!!!!!!!! Flash what ever rom you would like and immediately flash a kernal over top of that rom FOR YOUR DEVICE!!!!!!! I have done this with several roms not compatible for my tmo including Verizon international and att and rom. If you use a rom with an aroma installer DONT CHECK REBOOT NOW FLASH YOUR KERNAL OVER TOP OF ROM!!! ANY OTHER WAY AND YOU WILL BRICK. i have had great luck using trwp recovery to do this hope this helps. Also make sure you have titanium backupor something like it to remove what is not needed, also you may lose features doing this, and one more thing please make sure you know the programming code for your data setting to make sure you can switch the rom to evdo sprints 4g data. It may also be verizons code im not sure
I would not recommend this. It will definitely not work 100%.
What features are you looking for? There are several options with xposed mods.

which version of phone are you coming from?
personally I am using U.S tmobile version, i have flashed international and ATT version. Verizon and Sprint seems to have additional hardware and network differences so I never try.
Hi,
Currently I have a i337 galaxy s4 which I am using with tmobile sim card. I made it unlocked by ATT before I switched to tmobile. It has baseband UFNI1 and Android 4.4.2 installed. I managed to get it rooted using the Odin software, so I can use the tethering with the tmobile.
Now I am trying to find a way to use the Wi-Fi calling. I searched it a lot and figured out that I need a tmobile rom installed but it quickly got very confusing. It looks like what you need to do also depends on what android version you are using. For some you need safestrap, change the kernel for some you don't. For some you have Wi-Fi issues and need to change the modem etc.
So, I am trying to find the easiest and safest way that will make the Wi-Fi calling work. I don't necessarily need the very latest android version or the fancy custom roms etc,I only need something that will work without any issues. I am perfectly fine with a tmobile stock Rom if that's the most convenient way.
So,I would really appreciate if someone can help me on this. It would be great to have a set of noob friendly instructions. Thanks a lot.

Hi There,
Were you able to root your device for Wifi Calling. I followed the instructions of http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...nvert-i337-to-m919-wifi-caling-t2896719/page6 and went into the same issue. After TMOBILE stock rom, the phone does not boot. I was able to install the first rom and then able to get onto the latest version and able to use phone again with AT&T latest software update (android 5.0.1). Actually, this is the version I have when I started rooting.
If you find any solution, please let me know as I am on the same boat with you on installing TMOBILE ROM using the other thread.
thanks
Ram
You cannot install a T-Mobile stock ROM to an AT&T device. Samsung has safeguards in place to prevent it. You would need to root and then install a custom ROM, which on an AT&T is difficult to do with its encrypted bootloader.
However, this is not the appropriate location to ask this. Questions related to AT&T devices belong in the AT&T S4 forums.
Hi
Just brought my Mrs, A Tab 4 Wifi edition. I want to see if it is possible to bypass the three network block on tethering.
Just recently updated the Samsung S4 to lollipop.
What i would like to use is the phone as hotspot or internet sharing for the tablet.
i hope somebody has some ideas or has been able to do this.
thank you.
I don't think the operator can even see that you are tethering to your tablet.
I've tried every route possible, creating a wifi ir bluetooth hotspot, but not possible. Get message saying I cannot tether, need to purchase a add-on.
No add on available until I upgarde.
update: just tried her sim card in my s5 which is running Phoenix Rom, tethering working fine no message nothing.
she is running stock rooted android.
It's likely the firmware was customized by Three to remove tethering. Your options?
1. Root and install a custom ROM.
2. Install the BTU Samsung firmware for the S4. BTU has no carrier branding or modifications.
I don't think changing the rom is a option coz she doesn't want to lose all her photos messages etc. Baiscally she has already TOLD me I'm not allowed to do that.
Is there anything possible I can do without changing the rom.
Unless you want to pay for the tethering, there's no way I can think of other than changing ROMs.

You know you can back them up? And even so, if you flash a custom rom, then you won't wipe the photos.
Yea I know I can back them up and stuff it take some time though. You wonder if there was a work around like a exposed or hack or something.
Is there anything special I need to do to get custom roms working on my HTC 10 for Sprint? I am looking at Viper or LeeDroid. I was concerned because they state I should upgrade to the latest firmware, and Sprint uses a different firmware version than both of them (they appear to use the international 1.96). The installation pages for 1.96 all note that you cannot use a cdma phone with the firmware. Thus, I can't upgrade to the same firmware edition that the ROMs seem to have.
Am I over thinking this? If my sprint firmware is up to date, should I just go ahead with bootloader unlock -> twrp -> install viper?
Thanks
You're over-thinking it. When you flash either of those ROM's, simply choose Sprint as your carrier in the Aroma installer.

100% correct.
I'm on Sprint, Viper works great with our current firmware.
I'll suggest going full S-off using Sunshine:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/guide-root-optionally-s-off-radio-t3373025
Follow this to a T, you'll be right as rain. Then flash away Merle.
I'm rocking leedroid with 0 issues on 2 sprint phones. Yet to try other roms since I ran a few of his roms in the past. Will say I'm also running the no root option and have Wi-Fi hot-spot working and no safetynet fails for Android pay my bank and pogo

I'm currently on a NATF rom trying to get back to a stock state to use [email protected] and Touchdown. I plan on removing TWRP, my root status, etc. as I need to be able to access work emails remotely.
I can get most of the features I want without using root (mostly Adblock and some unimportant audio mods). However, the only thing holding me back is the ability of custom roms to come completely bloatless with out the useless apps that T-Mobile preloads on their stock roms.
Are there any ROMs that work with [email protected], retain the un root status, without need of an unlocked bootloader, and still have minimal bloatware (much like the Samsung U roms that you can flash)? T-mobile features (hotspot, wifi calling, VoLTE, etc.) should also work if possible.
I know this is too much to ask, but I just hope i don't have to deal with the headache.
