I have a FRD AL10, and I Updated for EMUI 5, tryed to rooted, but, when I Install TWRP for nougat 3.0.2 something strange happens, I cannot set a password. Anyway, I could downgrade to EMUI 4.1 with dload method, but because I am really stupid I tryed again, so I couldn't do this again but, when I try to downgrade with dload method, it says this is the wrong package, then my real problem began. I tryed flash by TWRP, but, sometime ago I tested to dbran my FRD al10 to FRD L09, anyway I flashed FRD L09C432B320, without hw eu firmware, now I am without Bluetooth, NFC and other things, and when I try DLOD method, this even says that wrong. When I go to fastboot, honor says it is unlock, but when I try to flash something by fastboot, this says "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)" .
I tried SRK Tool, Team MT tool, because this problem with fastboot, I couldn't do anything. Does anyone has a Idea how can I comeback to original firmware? I already have update.zip and Update app of C00B175. So, I need some help, thanks!!!

OK I'll try it with fastboot, as mine is unlocked. I guess I'll take the risk, however I believe that it should work.

You should unlock your bootloader and flash ROM via fastboot. That will upgrade your phone to 6.0. Would you like directions on how to do that?

Check here to unlock bootloader
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/development/honor-6-rooting-method-t2962795
Then download Latest Full upgrade package for Honor 6 plus
http://www.hihonor.com/in/support/details/?DOC_ID=91145
Honor 6 drivers can be found here
https://androidmtk.com/download-huawei-usb-drivers
Download Huawei update extractor
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
Extract Update.app from downloaded firmware.
Use Huawei update extractor to extract system.img, recovery.img, boot.img, Cust.img
Also, Copy update.app to dload folder on your SD card
Install adb and fastboot
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
Power off phone. Hold vol down and connect USB to enter fastboot mode
Use the following command to flash the files on fastboot
Fastboot Flash boot boot.img
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot flash Cust Cust.img
Fastboot flash system system.img
When completed, hold power, vol down, vol up till phone starts upgrade process.
Alternatively, use honor multi tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/general/honor6-multi-tool-t2963060
Use the unbrick option.
Why rom india?
Last Update is not 571 Europe?
I had try with multitool . Mode UNBRICK
cannot write.
For each file (boot, cust, recovery system)
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
I can try to install driver, install Hisuite, check on debug mode phone. But nothing
On boot screen "fastboot % rescue mode", I see "Phone Locked"
UPDATE
Impossible to get unlock code
https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/detail
correct data but "Verification Code error" on submit
I have a very strange serial number: "EMUI3.1_PE-TL10_6.1.1" ?!?!?!
I see another SN on Settings> About Phone and then "Status". It should be correct but does something not work (16 decimal numbers(0~9) or capital letters(A~Z)
always correct data but "Verification Code error" on submit
You have to unlock bootloader before you can use fastboot mode to unbrick. The SN in settings - about - phone status is the right one. give it a try again or pm me needed details so I generate the unlock code for you.
ROM for Europe B571
Write you soon. PC crashed
I sent PM
I am stuck

correct data but error message on submit "Verification Code error"
HELP
I've completed this step
Created Folder dload with ROM on phone
unlock bootloader (Honor Multi Tool with SuperSu folder on phone).
Unbrick with ROM for Europe B571 file (done, no problem)
NO TWM or ROOT
(Up to STEP 5)
Phone has rebooted.
Freeze on HONOR LOGO. STOP
I tried with VOL down, VOL up and power to flash ROM, but it fails (!!!)
Installing update stops at 4% : "Software install failed"
Any solution?
Now the phone is always turned on with logo HONOR and if I turn power off it restarts

For me, this ROM has reported problems. It could be the reason for the failed flash.
I do not think of being able to access the internal memory (with USB) to replace the ROM.
I thought that I can:
1) to performed hardreset (vol+-power, EMUI menu)
2) To put another rom on an external memory
3) Do unbrick again
What you think?
but I check now, Your rom is perfect.
I don't know what to do anymore

Try to find EMUI4.0.1_PE-TL10_7.1.1 it is for your version of Honor 6 Plus PE-TL10. I flashed this version over PE_EMUI3.1_Android5.1_6.1.1. (PE-TL10 EMUI 3.1 Android 5.1) and works fine.

Hello,
This thread will help you:
-Unlock bootloader (you must have the unlock code)
-flash oeminfo
-put the rollback package in dload folder (a little xda search)
-put B160 in dload
and you will get MM.

I tried that yesterday after i posted this and it says FAILED stat does not match or somthing simular i will try again tommrow but that is probaly what it said.
Hello Guys,
Sorry that I post this here, but I don´t know where to put this else.
I have an Asus Zenfone Selfie ZD551KL and wanted to root it. It was still on Android Lollipop and I tried it according to a guide for Android Marshmellow. As expected it didn´t work. So I tried to flash a prerooted system with adb. That didn´t work either but now I don´t have a running system left, just access to fastboot and recovery. Recovery.img (version WW_user_1.15.40.1582_20160510) and boot.img got flashed in the process, system.img failed "FAILED (remote:size too large)". Even with the command -S300 (don´t know which parameters to use, think those should be right), it didn´t work.
So I tried to flash the original ROM from asus. I tried the newest version "UL-Z00T-WW-21.40.0.1923-user.zip" and an older version according to the recovery version "UL-Z00T-WW-51.15.40.1582-user.zip". Both didn´t work, neither with adb sideload, nor with updating from SDCard. When I try to flash the newer version, I get the message "patching system image unconditionally" and in the DOSBox the flash process just stucks at 83% every time (faced same procedure with other ROM´s too).
The older version gives me another errormessage "System update fails with status 0, fota return code 409"
I wiped data and cache partition before every try.
Sadly Bootloader isn´t unlocked and I cant unlock it with ADB, as every command, which should unlock it, doesn´t work.
Every firmware I tried was WW SKU, as recovery log says my phone is WW, when I try to flash a ROM. But I bought this smartphone from china, so should I try CN ROM? Asus Website just has Lollipop CN ROM and I don´t think I could find a way to root the phone, when needing to flash CN ROM. But Root is what I need on it....
I hope you are able to read the text. English is a foreign language to me.
I would appreciate help alot!
Greetings
BrickedGuy
Hi, second post on the forums, I'm in bigger trouble now.
I unlocked my bootloader and then rooted my VNS-L21 so I could edit my hosts file. I tried going back to official and unrooted firmware afterwards, but something went wrong along the way.
The stages:
-OFW VNS-L21C432B504, obtained bootloader code through DC-unlocker (developer options on, OEM unlock on, debug usb on)
-unlocked bootloader with SRKtool using this method get-instant-huawei-bootloader-unlock-code/
-rooted using Magisk and made a full backup through Revolution Recovery using this method https://ministryofsolutions.com/2018/05/huawei-p9-lite-root-for-nougat-new-method.html
- some tinkering here but don't remember exactly plus I guess it's not that relevant ; I think I got rid of root here
- downgraded from Nougat to MM using dload method according to this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...torial-rollback-n-to-mm-c432-devices-t3563955 (first flashing rollback package from C432B504 to C900B300, then flashing C432B160 - full)
- everything went fine, bootloader relocked; but I was unable to upgrade to Nougat/B504 - settings-update showed "no updates available", putting update.app in dload folder (obtained from firmware finder, TeamMT, full B504 file) didn't work, pressing three buttons resulted in error (the version not compatible or sth)
-tried dload with previous rollback file
...and now I'm here:
- phone constantly stuck at boot screen (red Huawei logo)
- dload not starting by pressing three buttons
- recovery not starting by pressing volume up
The only thing I can get is white fastboot screen when connected to PC. It says "phone locked" (bootloader) in green, "FRP unlocked" in red. As usb debugging/oem unlock were not enabled this time, platform-tools/adb with command "adb devices" says nothing is connected, similar goes for SRK
Is it hopeless and my phone is thrash or is there anything I can do? Please help!
PS. All I wanted to do with my root was to change hosts file and then unroot/relock phone, seems like it wasn't worth all this work ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/help/retaining-modified-hosts-file-unrooting-t3868641 )
Update: "fastboot devices" in adb directory resulted in detecting my device, next I found and tried command "fastboot oem [PASSWORD]", now there's a change: "This device cannot be trusted" is showing again, in fastboot I see "PHONE Unlocked" in red now. So time to flash some firmware with a command? But which firmware and how exactly to do that?
You have again unlocked your Bootloader? I suggest you flash a Nougat Compatible TWRP and then from within TWRP make wipes. After that use Hurupdater to flash Nougat firmware. First flash TWRP. If it boots into TWRP then format data and then wipe Dalvik/Art Cache, Cache, Data, System and Internal. Next download Hurupdater and stock Nougat Firmware. You need to download three ZIP update.zip, update_data_full_public.zip and regional update file. Next rename them as suggested in Hurupdater thread. Finally place all four files in same folder in SD card and then install and select only Hurupdater.zip to flash. After it complete reboot to stock recovery and factory reset. If all goes well you will be on Nougat.
Thank you so much, HuRU update method was what finally got me from Marshmallow to Nougat
So. I take it your phone is working now? Glad to know and be of help. If you need help with anything then just ask
Yes, it is, I'm currently struggling with systemless hosts on my Magisk rooted Nougat but other than that - everything works fine. Turns out that most of the recoveries I found then were meant for Nougat, only one recovery file worked on Marshmallow (and I've tried quite a few of such files and they were hard to find).
________________
After flashing TWRP recovery, updating Magisk to 17.3 beta and installing newest (4.0.10) version of Adaway - the problem is gone. My guess is that the fault was on Magisk's side as after updating it the "systemless hosts" function in Adaway was no longer grayed out.
