does axon 7 eu edition 2017g have voLTE?
US edition has voLTE , how different is the hardware in terms for VOLTE
Up!
I got VoLTE on Orange in here, and it seems it doesn't stick on latest 7.1.1 B04, even with forcing LTE.
If anyone got clues, I'm in! Thanks.

Hi everyone,
After switching from the Dutch provider KPN to Vodafone I lost the ability to connect to LTE/4G networks. On KPN in both Stock and RR remix LTE was working perfectly without any problems.
What can be the problem? My first thought is that Vodafone is using different bands than KPN, witch are not supported by the Axon 7. But all the Vodafone bands should be supported.
Is there a frequency band or channel that is somehow blocked a custom rom? Also my device is listed as a A2017U instead of a A2017G, is this an issue? Looking on this forum it seems not really of an issue. I flashed the right Modem in TWRP before installing the ROM.
Is there anyone that knows how to fix this issue?
Hey Maxhuisman,
A few months ago i switched from stock 6.0.1 MM rom to RR Nougat and after that Darkrom and a few others. No matter which kind of bootloaders/bootstacks/modems i flashed, the 4G/LTE data service from Vodafone NL just did not work even even after making sure the right LTE bands were enabled in the free app Network Guru. After asking for advise in a few other treads i was told to go back to a stock or near stock rom.
I am currently on Sl1m's B08 Nougat rom where my 4G+ worked instantly after flashing. I am not going to try other roms for now until i'm 100% sure that vodafone LTE works on those roms.

Really? That's too bad to hear
Thanks for your reply, I guess I have to go back to stock or to Sl!m then. Very strange that it is not working with Vodafone.
Have a retus XT1687 rooted with TWRP on 7.1.2 Lineage 14 Rom with simple mobile for carrier. Have never flashed Oreo Rom. Not able to get VoLTE working. Trying to determine if problem with phone or service. Any one else with same phone and carrier have VoLTE working?
Some screenshots
Called Simple Mobile and found out they don't offer VoLTE.
Has anyone got VoLTE to work with Verizon Wireless? Forever ago on lineage 14 I got volte working but I havent since. Anyone?
I got VoLTE on stick B12 Oreo.
I got an LG V30+, and wanted to give my Axon7 to my wife to replace her LG G3.
The Axon7 is currently running stock SL!M ROM, but wifi calling showing "error". Phone is A2017G.
We need it to work since in our home , it's like the Devil's Triangle for data service. Just wondered if anyone has wifi calling working on Tmo?
Hi, for future seekers. A2017U b20 firmware support wi fi calling. I think that 2017u b12 could also support it but have not tried.
Unfortunatelly i have some issue on A2017U b20 firmware with g modem. Details in following thread:

I need to use VoLTE service on my s7 edge G935F , but its not the option I am getting easily. I need to use the Vodafone service, but I don't have that option on my G935F (single sim) Global variant. I could have flashed the official ROM and CNX firmware, but is not working (no VoLTE or VoWifi). So, what are all the avilable options for me to get the VoLTE working on my G935F?
I am using a custom rom from a supported phone for VoLTE, isn't working too.(Note 8 custom rom, using Android 9.0)
Is there any particular solution for getting VoLTE? Eagerly waiting for a solution, thank you! Have a nice day.
