im sure oneplus 3 owners said the same, then BAM... there was the T model less than 6 months later. never say never in the tech world. with the snapdragon 835 incoming google will for sure want to step it up somehow.
I would hope they don't rush this time and plan it out and come out with a better phone. 2017 and no waterproofing is crazy. Also I'm sick of these metal/glass "premium" phones. I beat the hell out of my GS5 for 3 years. It was always in a case but no screen protector. It's been soaking wet, covered is dirt/dust, dropped, etc.. there is NOTHING wrong with it. Not a single mark/scratch/dent. I have a screen protector and case on my pixel and I'm still scared as hell to drop it and have to worry about it for however long I keep it. It definitely will not hold up as good

ebay link
that looks real good! i honestly HATE the keyboard on the burgundy. Especially when the light turns on it... i can hardly see the keys im about to press. good work bro
Earlier when I turned my G1 over, I found multiple lines on the back of the battery cover, I have no idea what they are but they obviously don't look very good. The phone has always been kept in a case and only today have I noticed them. I have a white G1 so the cover is a light bronze color. The lines resemble lines made by a pen very lightly. However, after applying alcohol (hand sanitizer), water, soap and intense rubbing it will not come off. Has anyone ever scratched their cover? What does it look like? I know this is a very... strange question to ask haha.

Yeah it is. I mean, really...it's probably a scratch.

suppose we can't really tell unless you get us some pics
my guess is, it's either a scratch or a crack.
I cant take any pics... they don't show up very well in the picture. But ah well, my Shield Skin comes in a few days, and new themes will be released in like a week from the competition to make me feel better. In the end I will probably end up just buying another battery case for 10 bucks off eBay. Must be my OCD haha.

Insurance!!! £50 quid excess worth the money haha
Apologies to be a bearer of bad news, but it looks like there is a global shortage of HD2 screens and a big backlog of devices that need fixing . I had a similar but much smaller crack, and my phone has been with HTC for nearly 3 weeks now and was told yesterday that I have to wait at least one more.
Repair price ~£140.
You got ripped on your excess
I did the same with mine, dropped it of a 6 foot locker, LloydsTSB Phone insurance dealt with it and it cost me £30.00 excess.
Just got a spanky new replacement today although they were supposed to email me when it was being returned and didn't, nor did they send it to the requested address, and why they had to wait 11 days to tell me it was shagged I don't know!

Huff and puff. They are 100% confident in it, and they've even gone far enough to hire interns onto the Glass team for the summer. They aren't giving up on the product by any means. Besides, they already confirmed a KitKat update is coming soon.
Google is definitely into glass.
Sent from my One using xda app-developers app
we'll just keep testing these on you guys ok - google
Well you know if it once succeed, it will totally benefited by google glass. The virtual screen is a great invention!
I think we'll hear some news and see some big changes come Google I/O in a June!
Hello guys,
My friend got a oneplus 5 and it has a groove on the upper middle of the camera ring? Do you guys have it to or is it some mechanical flaw
sure it doesn't affect the glass now but I'm worried the glass is more prone to cracking now..maybe. Anyway today is day one so there is ability to get it replaced so let me know thanks!

That's so funny because when I opened the box it was like the first thing I noticed. And I thought, what the heck is that! It's definitely part of the design though. As somebody pointed out I guess it's for NFC. Which makes sense.
