HELP - TWRP and Root for SM-500FU 6.0.1 - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi everyone. I have a Samsung A5 2015 (sm-500fu) and i updated yesterday from 5.0.1 to 6.0.1 . Now i want to root it and install TWRP. I tried to install TWRP twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-a500.tar, odin say SUCCESS but if i go to recovery mode there is the stock recovery. Can someone help me? Should i downgrade to 5.0.1?

Dont let the phone reboot by itself...uncheck the reboot option from odin or take of the cable directly when it gets success

GT-N7102 Samsung Grand 2 stuck on Samsung logo

Hello friends, i was trying to root my friend's Samsung Grand 2 and i rooted successfully using https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ and it was successful (was done via odin). I booted to screen, then i booted to recovery and it was stock, i tried to flash custom recovery following this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-2/general/guide-easily-root-galaxy-grand-2-sm-t2812807. I downloaded CWM-Test-4.4-ms013g.tar and flashed via odin, since then it is stuck at Samsung logo, i have tried to boot into custom recovery and wipe cache and davik to no avail. I have refalshed CF Root via odin and it has restored stock recovery but still stuck at Samsung logo. Kindly help, what can i do except restoring stock image to fix this?

Which Version of TWRP for Note 4 SM-N910U 5.1.1.

Hey guys,
So yesterday i had a NIGHTMARE.
I had a note 4 running on 5.0.1 which was rooted with CF Auto Root. I decided i wanted to install TWRP. I flashed it with odin using the version i thought would be correct. But ended up NOT being able to boot my phone and being stuck on the Samsung Logo screen with the SEANDROID red error message.
I tried everything and eventually just downloaded the STOCK 5.0.1 rom and flashed it with Odin and my phone was back to normal.
I now need to Re-root my phone again and hopefully get twrp installed.
My main question is which version of TWRP should i use?
Also when i look at the CF Auto Root page, i see for the SM-910U they seem to only have a file for 5.1.1. So does that mean i should update from 5.0.1 - 5.1.1. first before rooting?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Yes, you should update.
Look for twrp at xda. There are threads about twrp for note4

Mast flash twrp hero2lte
YES I know , i reflashed The firmware and then installed the right file.
Im not a beginner , but sometimes my folders get tricky ???
My question is , is it going to affect the device if that red screen popped up ?
Or is it just because i flashed the wrong file

[HELP] Note 4 boot loop after installing TWRP recovery (possibly soft brick?)

I have Note 4 model N910H firmware 5.1.1 and I rooted it using chainfire method. I checked using root checker and it says my phone was rooted properly. So I install TWRP latest recovery using flashify. The phone rebooted to recovery mode fine but it says that my phone not rooted so I'm confused and I let TWRP rooted it again. After that I reboot to system and I can't enter it instead it was stuck looping samsung and android logo.
So, what can I do? I can enter TWRP recovery and download mode. I know I can flash it to stock 5.1.1 but I dont know what version to use from SamMobile (XID/XSE, I'm from Indonesia) and there's different PDA/CSC version. So if I just pick one of them and flash it to my phone will it be okay? I want to avoid flashing to be honest because the rom size is so big so is there's a way to fix it without flashing?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
