For those looking to buy an LG G3 off contract the 16GB version is an eBay Daily Deal today (7/23/2014).

So Like Many of You I upgraded from the Note 4, and the gear vr 1. I was hoping they would atleast have a date out for the vr 2 but it doesnt seem to be the case. So now im looking for sometype of vr function to hold me out in the mean time before i decide on a occulus or some alternative. anyway to my question , what is the best cardboard headset for the s6 edge? and will the curve screen mess up the vr effect?
I've got the kit from dodocase.com, it's essentially the cardboard kit. It works pretty well imho, the curved edges aren't noticeable, I think they're slightly outside of the field of view.

A bit expensive for what it is imao, it's just a phone holder (pretty sexy I know). Anyway I'm pretty interested on your feedback w/ this one! Maybe someday it'll cost half the price and start to be interesting for me

What about VR apps? Most users complain about a poor app store...
Istill have great hopes on this VR2, since S6 is gonna be a great succes, the amount of potential users is superior, so dev will gain interest on that market.

I felt the same way... But it's supposed to be lighter, have the fan and the charging port. And it's supposed to be more comfortable.
I'm really on the fence lol
indeed, i was a day 1 buyer of the Vr 1 but it looks like i might have to pick this one up on EBAY lol

Over in the VR headset thread there is a guy that said that he has the Oculous headset right now and said the the samsung VR is going to be well worth the money. This pushes me more towards buying it in may haha
They are 199 now at best buy.
I owned a Note 4 with a Gear VR as well. Saw some great potential in it but 99% of the available content is crap. That's an area where the Oculus Rift will definitely be the better option. As long as there is no similar content for the Gear VR I'm holding my money back.
Hello Everyone! So while the G5 was unveiled at MWC 2016, I saw that the LG G4 was available for under $400 on Amazon unlocked. So here's a video I made talking about my review of the LG G4 and whether you should buy it in 2016. I hope this helps the prospective LG G4 buyers as personally I think, for around $380, it is a great VFM phone.

no they have to be listed as a participating retailer. Amazon isn't one of them and neither are the small stores in Amazon.

Hmm, thats so sad, and unfair
Also the promo doesn't work on the S6 and S6E Has to be the S7 line, and participating companies. If you read the promotions terms and conditions it spells everything out.

I am confused should I buy LG G6 @ $359 OR should go to Galaxy A8+ 2018 @ $429 ? (BOTH UNLOCKED VERSIONS)
Reason I'm considering these phones are both of them have IP Rating.
I'm not a heavy user but will need to use GPS a lot may play Asphalt occassionally & decent cameras are always welcome. Please help me to decide from above mentioned models or tell me if there's any other good option in this price range. (In INDIA) Only waterproof capability is must. Thanks fellas.

I bought LG G6 for 264€ and it's great.
I sure hope so! I just bought a NIB, on swappa, for $340.
I have it for a year now and I honestly recommend it. Thoght about upgrading to G7 but G6 perfectly fits all that I need so I'll skip the upgrade. Love it. Unfortunatelly european version doesn't have wireless charging, that's what bothers me most.
