You can try lg support tool and hit update recovery also firmware can be accessed by lg open source!

I am trying out the method mentioned af LG site, i will report back.
EDIT : i tried LG site's method, it did not help me with my issue, some how it thinks my mobile is a windows mobile which it aint.
I'd like this too, the 5.0.1 it ships with has the memory leak bug ?

I have the latest firmware package for the LS777 Virgin Mobile Stylo 3 if anybody needs it. The July 1, 2018 security patch build. Leave a reply if any members need it and I'll upload.
Namely, I have stock Android 7.0, Build No. NRD90U, Software Version LS777ZVE; Kernel Version 3.18.31.

I'll be uploading and posting today. Please take note that this firmware is not in kdz or TOT format. Rather, this package consists of .img files for all the device partitions. It can be flashed using the engineer version of LG-UP or, alternatively, a kdz compiler can be used to create a kdz firmware package for flashing with the LG Flash Tool. Use caution attempting systemless root. The stock boot image can be patched with Magisk and pushed to the device with LG-UP. However, to prevent a secure boot error from occuring, you will first need to modify the bootchain (/aboot) by using an insecure /aboot configuration.

Hello i have the LG V20 64GB H918 10t I see lots of links to patches some to the tool but with the wrong .dll
I must be an idiot because i can get this working so i can update via KDZ and then use lafspot. I set up what i think is the right version of LGUP and patch.
I get DLL for H91810t is not properly installed. Any link to the uncracked and cracked h928 10t.

Can i install the H870's Oreo kdz file using LGUP to my H870TR? The update is not available to me with OTA or LG Bridge. If i can install it, is there a guide to it? I looked through this forum and couldn't find anything.

yes you can, nothing will go wrong. Go ahead...
i did that with LG V10 about a year ago when i have H960A and flash a H960TR kdz so, will work for sure.
I advice you to wait because no one know if it works and how to restore in case of brick.
