I have a problem with my Qtek 9000: The Display shows only white display if I turn it on. I can't see anything like Windows mobile or such thing. I've hard-reset tha phone and it makes a sound. But the display is just white
I've tried to push the POWER+Backgroundlight+Reset to go to bootload mode, but the display is turning to black (like turned off). Then after I soft-reset the phone, it shows white screen again.
Can someone help me please ?
try to reload the rom in a bootloader mode and by the way when it is in a bootloader mode the does it shows anything like serial on its screen while the backlight is off?
"reload the rom in a bootloader mode" --> you mean update the ROM through USB cable from my PC ?
In the bootloader mode, it doesn't show anything like serial, the screen is just empty....
I have a g2 that is broken and I need help getting some things off of it.
the phone works except the screen wont come on. The touch screen works but I cant tell where I am touching.
i want to use Droid Explorer to allow me to use the screen emulator but there is one catch...
My wife never turned on the USB Debugging.
I would like a few screen shots of the STOCK G2 from TMOUS
1) I need the home screen with the menu button pressed
2) The settings screen... If "applications" fits in the first screen then just that screen... If it is below the screen then could you show me a shot of the last item on the first screen scrolled to the top so as to be able to see where "applications" will lie.
3) The shot of the "applications" page and where "USB Debugging" is
Thanks!!!!!!
Don
Well I'll try and help (My replacement got the 2.3.3 update so no root)
If you can get into settings swipe down hard so you know you're at the top of the page. From there Applications should be lateral from where the charging port is on the side. Tap the same spot for development, and USB debugging should be lateral from the top of the volume up button and tap anywhere on that line (At least on GB) and it should come up with a pop up. Now put your finger right above the home button and just tap in a straight line up and stop before you get to the middle of the screen and USB debugging should be enabled. ( The phone is upright during this, make sure phone is unplugged during this or it may go to the USB storage screen, just hit back in that case and continue with your phone above the home button.)
Let me know if you need more help.
Just did it with my eyes closed so works from my end =p
Thanks!!!
That worked!!! Thanks!!!
Now we are cookin!!
My wife says thanks!!

This is probably going to not get any responses as most people aren't using the on screen keyboard, but I'll post it anyways.
Has anyone's on screen keyboard had the mode switching button break? This is the button in the bottom right that lets you switch between full keyboard, thumb keyboard, and transcriber. When it stops working, the icon disappears. If you click it, the key turns white and stays white and does nothing.
I don't know what causes it to break, but once it's broken, I can't get it to work again. It seems to be user-account specific. It works fine on other user accounts I create, but once it breaks on one account it stays broken.
this happens to me too, ms forums only ever says refresh your pc, that work for less than a day, hopefully it is fixed by beta
Has anyone else noticed all 4.0.3 roms have this bug? Plug your phone into your computer with USB. Turn on phone. While at slide lock screen, slide down notification bar. Select USB connected. The screen turns off. Every other notification, if selected from the slide lock screen goes to the corresponding location. Only this one thing is broken. Is there some way the devs can fix this?
The screen is broken. I cannot see anything and cannot unlock the phone.
But I am sure the phone is work because I can still using the web Whatsapp.
Is there any adapter without app installing can output the screen to TV?
Or any dock / adapter support hdmi out (without app installation / usb debug mode enable) and mouse control so that I can backup the data?
I installed AnyDesk in my PH-1 but it only available when the app is open
Howerver, I cannot unlock the phone to open it

So you have black screen of death (BSD) ie software or you think it's actually physically broken eg screen cable disconnected etc?
Anyhow, have you tried forced reboot (Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power keys together for up to 10 seconds ) which will perform the simulated battery disconnect, also try without SIM card as this used to sometimes fix black screen issue on other phones.
You could try using a mouse with a USB OTG adapter with talkback turned on (long press both volume keys at the same time for 3 seconds, you might have to try a few times) ... then you should be able unlock phone & turn on anydesk. ,(Basically you move around by swipe right or left, or click mouse pointer once to move that area & once you hear the option you want then double click anywhere to select) (I'm assuming the otg mouse will still work with talkback on)
[if it's software issue then maybe screen will work in recovery ... but if screen doesn't work you'll have to be very very careful not to select a wrong option!]

You can use most any USB-C to HDMI adapter. If it works for a MacBook Pro with USB-C it will probably work for you.
No special software needed. It automatically mirrors the screen.

Thanks for your reply. I am sure my phone is working because I can capture the screenshot and wait for auto upload to google photo.
OTG Mouse and keyboard is working, but no screen so I cannot unlock the phone.

so did talkback work with mouse pointer? You don't need to see screen it will "talk" to you so you know where you are on screen. Though using the HDMI adapter would be easier

No. Cannot active the talkback function by press Vol Up & Down
I tried to connect Travel Inspira usb-c => hdmi adapter with my broken PH-1 or new PH-1 (updated to Android P version). Both of them no signal show on TV / Monitor.
The PD power supply is necessary? Any setting should I set in PH-1?

It worked with mine but maybe I changed the settings, as shown in screenshot, when I was messing with using the accessibility settings with an automation app, I can't remember what the default was now. Sorry.
Hope you get it working with usb adaptor.
[Update]
My broken's PH-1 does not work but OK for the newest PH-1
I get another adapter which is for Nintendo Switch use and it is work
However the screen is too narrow.
I guess it is because my screen is broken, the resolution goes wrong. (width of resolution was set to 130px)
By adjust the font text to smallest and go in "Developer Option", it is more better by changing the width of resolution to 400px
But it still have a navigation bar at the right hand side of the screen
