I used the stock cable, pressed the right buttons, used administrator mode, everything.
But it keeps booting up into the stock recovery.
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks in advance!
- Zombysz.
me too
I am having this same problem (and a lot of other problems) with my SM-G935F also... would very much be interested to hear from other "international" S7 Edge users if they have experienced this too...
Bob
When flashing in odin, turn off auto reboot. and it should work.

Hi
Own a galazy s7 edge g935f (exynos). Was trying to flash stock rom as I was facing a few issues and i think I flashed the wrong firmaware by accident. I think my phone is now bricked as I am stuck at the 'samsung galaxy edge. welcome to android' screen. I can't get into download mode (bootloop) or recovery (no response) and I'm starting to panic. Is there any chance that once the phone's battery has been drained I will be able to boot into download mode and flash the correct stock firmware?
If not does anybody have any suggestions.
Any help would be appreciated I'm freaking out!

Really uncommon not to get into download mode. Keep the 3 buttons held for at least 20 seconds - it's sometimes taken even longer for me (assuming you haven't already done so).

This happened to me when I first tried to root my s7 edge. I googled and apparently the file i used was for the s6 edge and not the s7 edge. The post above is what I did, don't let go of the volume down, home and power off buttons. You will eventually get in to download mode.
Hello
I've got an s7 edge exynos doesn't power up! it shows in device manager of pc as exynos8890, I tried recovery and download mode but doesn't work, I also made a jigg cable but doesn't want to get to download mode.
Please help.
Do you have a Samsung Service Centre nearby.
Have you tried the known operation of holding a sequence of buttons to see if that wakes it up.
That did the trick
Anyways the freezes a lot and restarts by itself, I wanted to try os 7 and did a btu flash with csc, not home csc, now even when I use smartswitch with sn to restore the full stock I don't get the carrier logo and wonder if that is the problem with the freezing and restarts, I also flashed the very first firmware but it is the same!!! any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
Hi Guys, I just DOWNgraded my S7 Edge from 7 to 6.0.1 via ODIN. After completing the process my phone is stucked in the "Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, powered my android" boot screen. I cannot seem to enter download mode anymore. What can I do now?

Try a hard reset from buttons...probably ur sticker bexoz u downgraded
Samsung has warned already that it's not safe to downgrade after updating to 7.0. Since the bootloader gets upgraded it will cause problems. If you have good skill in software you can manage.

I've upgraded to 6.0.1 to 7.0 then downgrade again to 6.0.1 many times on my G935F without encountering any problems. I prefer MM with Xposed better than 7.0.
If phone doesn't boot after upgrade or downgrade, I just do factory reset/wipe data in Recovery.
But because the phone doesn't have a detachable battery, to go to Recovery you have to press Vol down + Power + Home first then when screen goes black you have to immediately press Vol up + Power + Home buttons to go to Recovery.

have you solve this issue? i'm facing the same problem...please help...
Downgrade is possible without repartioning? Any advanced member guide pls. If you are flashing files separately, you will need the pit file too to downgrade and if you are flashing with full rom image in single tar file containing pit file , then its ok , i think in major os change partition table changes , so any advanced member opinion about downgrading process is needed.
Hi,
After a LineageOS update, my Samsung S5 (G900F) was working and suddenly shouted down. I tried to restart it but it was booting in loop (always without passing through the first Samsung Galaxy S5 logo). As I wasn't being able to restart it I tried to fix it by installing the stock rom through Odin. It installed successfully and the phone rebooted with images in the screen. If I touch the phone I can hear the touch working and volume also works but I don't have image, not even while booting the phone.
Now, the only way I have to see image (in the download mode only) is to take off the battery for a few minutes and then restart the phone while pressing the download mode buttons.
I tried several times to install the stock rom through odin but the same thing happens everytime so I am still without image.
Any suggestions?
Thank you. :good:
My S7E suddenly went into boot loop mode yesterday when I was driving and I cannot bypass it. It gets stuck on "showing S7 Edge - Powered by Android." screen.
I have tried the following:
-Enter ODIN mode and flash the official S7E ROM. Bought the phone as a EU model but using in UK. I flashed Nougat ROM of UK and France T-Mobile version. They all passed on Odin (windows) but they still came back to boot screen and stopped.
-Tried flashing Marshmallow version - same issue
-Smartswitch doesn't recognize the phone as plugged in.
I cannot seem to be able to get into wipe cache mode. (Tried to hold Vol Up+Home+Power buttons together before restarting).
I am kind of lost for options on what else to try.
Any suggestions please? TIA
