I have tried to update to nougat but the camera didn't work even after restoring product_v3 on my l31. I tried to downgrade using the suggested oeminfo and b151 rom.
Now i just get the "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted screen". At the bottom it says "Your device is booting now..." but it never boots.
I can't install anything via dload method as three button combo just boots to this screen. Power and volume up same screen... Power and volume down same screen... Can't boot to fastboot but thinking maybe that's because the phone won't actually switch off.
I've left it for ages and it's still stuck on the same screen.
Any ideas?
vns-l31 ? l21?
Disconnect the usb cable from the pc, turn off hisuite.
Reconnect the usb cable to the pc to see if it starts.
If it starts not to turn off.
Reset bootloader with fastboot or toolkit 0.0.0.8.
Started fastboot or toolkit0.0.0.8, plugged the usb cable and hold depressed volume - and power. He should go.
Code bootloader and twrp meticulus
L31 as I stated above and the phone is stuck on booting screen. Won't turn off and won't boot to fast boot I've already tried.

Thanks but that app just flashes partitions in fastboot. If I could get into fastboot I could flash partitions anyway

Have you tried volume down pressed whilst connecting to pc?
Yes of course but it just reboots to the same screen not the fastboot screen.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
Sorry if it was a silly question to ask...went through all this myself earlier (except mine would power off...) but you said "Power and volume up same screen... Power and volume down same screen..." that's pretty much what mine did and I thought myself "why can't I get into fastboot", but power off and then [*without pressing power* vol down whilst connecting usb] worked.
If I restart my phone from the power menu and then immediately press vol down and connect to pc it boots to fastboot so it doesn't need to be powered off :good: but it does need to be connected to pc with the required drivers installed.
Finally got fastboot working and bootloader is unlocked but can't get anything to boot. Neither MM TWRP or Revolution TWRP will boot up.
Not sure where to go.
I've even tried extracting B151 and B161 and manually flashing boot recovery cust and system in fastboot but still no boot up...

Bootloader, twrpmeticulus, wipe, check all and wipe, install c432oeminfo.zip badwolf (see htcmania), turn off, restart with Dload b130,I read is b130 is best, b150, b160, b161. No matter it works all for me.
Strange thing is whenever i flash meticulous twrp it won't boot. I've tried through revolution recovery and by fastboot!
I can now actually get revolution twrp to boot but it doesn't mount system properly so won't flash anything at all.

Can be the end of the tutorial ultimate guide fo nougat
7.in recovery go to reboot-> reboot bootloader
8.flash stock nougat's recovery with fastboot
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByQ...RYVXdKaU0/view (thanks to @algnerd )
9. reboot to recovery and do a factory reset (if you dont do that your phone will fall in a bootloop)
I think i've seriously messed it up now can't access anything again now just stuck at Your device is booting now... again after trying downgrade method again...
Yeah completely broken now no fastboot, no operating system, no recoveryand no dload. Just boots up to Your device has been unlocked etc and Your device is booting now...
Try to boot one more time to bootloader holding vol down and plugging usb without powering up phone. Then you need to flash twrp for nougat and flash oeminfo trough adb sideload. Do not reboot your phone after this, it won't start. Go back to and copy any app file (for example b160) then try to boot to bootloader and flash boot, recovery and system from nougat app file. Reboot phone holding all 3 buttons, it gonna take a while to boot and it should flash the system properly.
Literally can't get bootloader at all now all i get is the your device is booting now screen and nothingness...
Seriously messed up first phone i've ever bricked and i've been around android since my htc tattoo a LONG time ago
Made the mistake of paying for Phoenix DC as well but that's no use without bootloader mode so waste of 15 euros.
And now i get fastboot again but it says frp lock. DC Phoenix has flashed b151 and b161 but neither boots.
Dload method still fails...
So if now u can get to fastboot, u must unlock bootloader again (frp lock) flash twrp for nougat, copy app file to dload folder, flash oeminfo via adb sideload etc. Look at my previous post.
Send me a message, maybe i can help you..

The issue I am having is that I wanted to set my phone back to factory, after I relocked the bootloader my phone when booting(with or without the volume keys) would shut off right after showing the ZTE boot screen. Now when I connect it, it shows up as HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5)..
Ive been looking at these two forums similar to my problem:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/help/bricked-a2017u-t3573798
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/help/a2017g-totally-bricked-t3537990
I understand I should use the axon7tool(When I try "axon7tool -r boot" i get failed to connect) , but I dont know exactly what I am doing.. I apologize for me being so dumb about this but if someone could please spell out exactly what I would have to do, to get my phone back to factory settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
RECAP: Bootloader locked, shows up as HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5), It did have TWRP.
EDIT: When trying MiFlash, I get a ERROR_BAD_FORMAT 0
I just did the exact same thing you did and had the same issue. What worked for me was downloading the factory image from ZTE, putting it on an SD card, going into stock recovery (vol up + power) and select apply update from sd card. The file you download from ZTE is double zipped, so make sure to extract the update.zip file from the parent zip before you put it on the SD card. It will be in a folder with the same parent zip name. I no longer can boot into bootloader from stock recovery (not sure if that's normal), but at least my phone works again. Here's the link.
https://www.zteusa.com/axon-7#support
Hope this helps.
EDIT: I also had TWRP when I locked my bootloader, so I'm assuming you're able to get to stock recovery with volume up + power.
Doesnt let me boot into anything.. Not sure how I screwed it up this badly. Im trying a MiFlash method right now to see if it helps
what happens when you hold down volume up and power button at the same time? you should feel a vibrate and when you let go, you should see the stock recovery.
No, Just shuts off after the ZTE logo pops up
The phone might still be on at that point. When the ZTE logo would pop up for a split second for me, MiFlash was able to see the phone. What happens when you just hold the power button for about 10 seconds right after the screen goes off? Does it stay off?
I believe you are right, when the logo isnt up(after it disappears) that is when it connects as the COM5 otherwise when the logo pops up it disconnects the resumes the cycle.
so if I hold it, it just keeps showing the ZTE logo then shutting off
Just to clarify, holding down both the volume up and power button simultaneously at the same time for at least 3-5 seconds after the phone is off (not after the screen goes blank after the ZTE logo) still gives the same result as if you just pressed the power button?
Yes.
If MiFlash can see the phone, maybe you can unlock the bootloader again?
exact same problem as you, except MiFlash successfully flashes B19 but it still doesn't boot
What you need is FLASH stock recovery in EDL Mode.
That will fix your problem..
P.S. as soon you boot your device after Flashing stock recovery ,will perform a factory reset.

I have not tried to flash a redownloaded version of B15 because I cannot move the file onto my sd card. I was able to flash a signed twrp on locked bootloader before to enable MTP, but whenever I flash a signed twrp now, I just get stuck on zte screen. Why is this phone so inconsistent?
Hello. After flashing modded B600 DS in TWRP (everything was ok, no errors) I've rebooted phone. And it stuck on Huawei logo, powered by Android. Phone doesn't boot into fastboot/recovery. No led charging notification. Please help me!
Hey,
On which version was your phone before ? Have you tried to access to the recovery when your phone is connected to your pc ? ( i know it's seems rly confusing but i had access to the Erocovery from Huawei like this and without my phone connected it's started on twrp).
If you can access the recovery, you should be able to start to the bootloader from adb.
Hold POWER and VOLUME DOWN (for a minute or so) until the white fastboot screen comes up. Then follow my comment here
Try to turn it off.. Then connect the phone to the computer but by only pressing the volume- key.. That should get you to fastboot mode..

If Zireveen had no luck flashing Modded B600 and if he wants get it working ADB is not the solution
Because img files from Modded B600 are different from stock img then ADB FAILED (remote: flash write failure)
But for now this should not be an issue anymore because persona78 attend a request to create a backup through the TWRP, then the users now only need to restore it via TWRP, is everything in the first post.
After I installed the stock recovery I got from a thread around here, my phone won't boot. It's stuck at the yellow your phone cannot be trusted bla bla and says Your device is booting now...
I cannot use volume down + power to access fastboot, volume up + power to access recovery, neither both volume buttons to acces the update.img on my sd card, it just boots the logo and then the screen above.
Any ideas, or I should start preparations for a funeral?

Try use Dc Phoenix method- 1 first ... You will need to buy 15 € credits but it's better thanhave a bricked phone! if that doesnt Work, search for Dc Phoenix method- 2 . It will flash your phone for FACTORY FIRMWARE . After that i returned to DC Phoenix and apliyed B160 firmware through method 1 again.

I looked a bit at the tutorials for the two methods, both of them involve booting the phone into fastboot, a thing I cannot do. If I manage to boot into bootloader, I'll fix the phone myself. I just don't have any idea how to do it if the button combinations only restart the phone and do nothing.
you can't enter fastboot via ADB ?

Sorry but....are you trying to enter fasboot tihe Vol- and power button WITH the phone connected to the PV via usb cable ?? If not, you cant't entre fastboot. You need to be connected to the pc

Which version of firmware u used? Was there MM or N. If you didnt flash some custom rom method with dload on sd card full stock firmware in format update.app and three butons power+volume down+volume up for full recovery must work. If Oeminfo corrupted during some unapropriate flasing then try toolkit for p9 lite. You can find it in our section. Regards
Thanks for all the advice. I left the phone to discharge and completely shutdown by itself, when I powered it up the problem was solved, I even had the operatign system running.
Bullet dodged.
I think I've made a boo boo.
I need help with this.
Device is mate 8 64gb dual Sim.
After rebranding to c185 and getting the phone back to nougat nxtL29c185b560. I flashed the wrong twrp version. Everytime I tried to install SuperSU it would bootloop.
A basic wipe in twrp would fix that. So what do I do?
I reflash an older version of twrp via ADB and then it wouldn't boot into twrp at all. Booting into the phone is fine.
Then....forgot to enter into bootloader before relocking bootloader.
Now all I've got is the Huawei logo. When I power off, it restarts and hangs on the logo.....
Can't get into fastboot mode. Tried 3 button method just to see what happens as I have b560 app in dload folder on SD card and cactus..niet, nothing, zilch.....
WONDERFULL!!!!!
I need help with this guy's. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to get into fastboot mode by draining your battery totally..ZERO.
Press vol- button and plug in USB in phone and you will get into fastboot. Try again if does not work first time.
Then flash al images of your last version including recovery, kernel and see if it works.

Hi,
I did a TWRP wipe (everything checked) to prepare for a restore to stock, but my device is now stuck at the very first "Google" screen with the pad lock icon at the bottom. How do I get it to boot?

So since everything was checked, that means you wiped the system partition. The device will not boot if you do that unless you flash a factory image via fastboot or new ROM via TWRP
OK, I thought wiping /system would just bring it back to factory state. 2 questions now
1. How do I get to recovery when it's always stuck at the Google screen with no adb access? Would I have to wait for the battery to run out (hence turn off), charge it for a while, then use the buttons to boot to recovery, or is there a faster way?
2. I am actually trying to revert to stock ROM (downloaded at https://developers.google.com/android/images#angler) by following step 10 of the Heisenburg guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928) which advises me to use fastboot to flash the individual images. In my case, how do I boot to fastboot?
OK, so I managed to boot to the bootloader and run the following commands as per the Heisenberg guide (using the stock MTC20L firmware)
Code:
fastboot flash bootloader C:\angler\images\bootloader-angler-angler-xx.xx.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio C:\angler\images\radio-angler-angler-xx.xx.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash boot C:\angler\images\boot.img
fastboot erase cache
(above command is unnecessary on Android 7.1.2 and above)
fastboot flash cache C:\angler\images\cache.img
(above command is unnecessary on Android 7.1.2 and above)
fastboot flash recovery C:\angler\images\recovery.img
fastboot flash system C:\angler\images\system.img
fastboot flash vendor C:\angler\images\vendor.img
Everything was successful, and I did a fastboot reboot after that.
However, my device still doesn't boot up. This time. It's boot loops for a few times before turning off.
I tried booting up to bootloader with power/vol-. Curiously, I can now only do this when cable is connected. If cable is disconnected, the orange LED just blinks once when power button is pressed, and nothing happens. Once cable is connected, then I'm able to boot up to bootloader with the button combination. I then retried the flash process again, but still no go. I noticed after fastboot reboot that the orange LED blinked a few times before rebooting and boot looping.
Kinda stuck now, any ideas?
Try booting into recovery and doing a factory reset. I've had that happen to me a few times after flashing factory images and a wipe in recovery always fixed it.
Just for future information: if at any time the device is stuck in a bootloop you can get it to robot into recovery by holding the power and volume down buttons for 10 seconds, or get it to boot into bootloader by holding power and volume up buttons for 10 seconds.

Thanks. Booting into stock recovery shows an exclamation sign with "no command", since I don't have TWRP anymore. Would I need to first flash TWRP before I can do a factory reset?
I just tried flashing to the same sock firmware as before the problem happened (7.1.2 N2G47W) but still same problem. I notice that after the Google logo disappears and the screen goes blank, the orange LED blinks 10 times before rebooting.
Edit: Tried factory resetting in stock recovery (by holding down power button and pressing vol+), the rebooting after factory reset. Still getting a boot loop.
OK I solved the problem. Apparently if you reboot after the flash, you need to disconnect the USB cable, else it will boot loop.

brother help me! i am facing same issue
first little info abt my device.
my device was running on android nougat with twrp recovery installed but the device was not rooted.
so get back to stock and install oreo I followed every step given on http://www.androidexplained.com/nexus-6p-revert-stock/ but somehow my phone is stuck at bootloop with no recovery installed.
Please help me here.
As per the Heisenberg guide, if you don't install root (SuperSU or Magisk), TWRP won't stick, so you'll go back to stock recovery.
For me, simply unplugging the USB cable after rebooting after a flash solved my problem. For some reason, if the cable is connected during reboot, it would boot loop.
brother, somehow I managed to install twrp. but everytime I touch it 2-3 times the phone gets switched off.
then it keeps rebooting to 'Google' logo.
can you tell me what should I do now?
