I know this has been covered in a few topics but nothing I have tried works. I have this headunit and trying to mirror with my iphone 7+.. So I open the easyconnect app. I have both my phone and headunit on the same wifi.. I select the ECM on the airplay dropdown. It connects then on the headunit I just get a gray bar that flickers. It also sometimes freezes my phone. So it never displays my phone on the headunit. I have restored the unit to factory settings and uninstalled and re installed the easyconnect app.. Same results. Does this just not work? I did get a replacement unit the first unit I got was messed up but the easyconnect did work. Just odd how this doesn't work at all. Any thoughts?

I know this is older post but if you have not figured it out as of yet.
I have the same unit. if you go into settings password 126 or 12688 most units. there is a way to set the type of radio stations as well as canbus and steering wheel map from drop down menus for make and models of vehicles.

I'm generally happy with my head unit but i want to ask you is there any updated software-firmware for my unit which i can install?
If i use default media player application i can use steering and other controls, but if i use any other media player i can't use them. Is there anything i can do about this ?
Can i change ringtone of my head unit?
When i'm making a bluetooth call, sound is bit bad, Is there anything i can do about this?

i got this android head unit now for a bit more than a year and since then i´m not very happy with it.
i cant really change the style, the "main screen" got a big ass ugly clock and if i change my hotkey apps in the lower bar, they dont stay there after turning off my car.
this are my main issuse with this head unit.
is this a problem with my device in general or is it a problem with the android rom?
and if it is so, can i change it easy and wich rom should i flash?

the problem is I can't find the Make of this unit in the system info says UNKNOWN and I would like to root it but can't find nothing about this device no info

some of the settings drive me crazy
can't access bluetooth settings cant connect nothing apart my phone I want to be able to see the list of bluetooth devices ner me example OBD2
I want to delate the nasty player on the second half of the screen
I want to be able to make bigger volume buttons those are very small
and meny more
please any one with similar unit have you done some changes ?
or is just me with this unit

I have a wierd problem with chinese 7'' android 4.4.4 on audi q5
Unit does not want to switch to reversing camera, got power, pink is connected with trigger and camera power but no picture on screen.
Is there any settings in interface what should be looked at ?

Everything else works good, if i switch reverse camera to front input and manually add power to camera and start DVR function, it shows good picture.
