Unlocked bootloader seems to not trip SafetyNet for Z2 - Xperia Z2 General

Reverted to stock .291 since I plan moving on from the Z2 and I found that SafeNet was passed despite bootloader still being unlocked (therefore Android Pay and Pokemon Go working). https://imgur.com/a/WlA4A

Only /system integrity is put into consideration for Sony devices, it seem.

PCC update put my arc's BL relocked?

hi,
I had my Arc's BL unlocked using some TestPoint method before, but after a try upgrading to ICS through PCC, it seems get relocked... Is there any method to check if the BL is locked or not?
Thanks in advance.
Try putting it in fastboot mode.
Sent from my Phone.
That actually happened to me before, I had to unlock via testpoint again. As above try flashing a custom kernel.

Nexus 7 blocked in bootloader

Hi, I just upgraded my nexus 7 to android 4.3 and then I have unlocked the bootloader with a tool for Ubuntu users. Then, I install a recovery, and then I root it but it doesn't work. So I decided to downgrade to 4.2.2 with the tool with "flash Google factory image" but an error occurred and the nexus doesn't boot
I can just go in the bootloader, I have the bootloader unlocked, but no recovery, and no root.
Here is my question : how can I install for example cyanogen 10.1.2 but blocked in the bootloader ?
Don't forget that I have just Ubuntu.
Thanks.

I don't know if I'm hearing you right... But you can't have a locked bootloader and a custom recovery and have CM.

If your bootloader is corrupted you can't boot anything. You're going to have to find a way to get your bootloader flashed. I don't know much about this but on my S3 I used Odin.

wugfresh updated nrt for rooting jss15r yesterday

the version is still 1.7.2. if you have nrt 1.7.2 installed, just connect to net and start nrt, which will update automatically. the rooting process is exactly the same as for jss15q. customized recovery is just optional. you can keep the original recovery with rooted jss15r. but unlocking bootloader is a must

I noticed. Thanks!
I unlocked and rooted once before upgrading to JSS15R
It turned out that after upgrading to JSS15R, I don't have root access
Do I need to unlock again before rooting?
Will all my data be gone after rooting?
Thanks!

once unlock, always unlocked, unless you lock again. This root would not affect to your app data at all

I used wug but when using your latest version of SU 1.65 I could never get root. I finally booted into TWRP and flashed SU 1.5x and it worked! Don't know why the newer version wouldn't work. Then, after booting it updated itself to the newer version of SU. Go figure.

I experienced the same after I unlocked my BL with flashtool 0.9.15 (fw .681): no data lost
Was it the first time unlocking ? You too removed SD and sim card?

It was for the 2nd time and both cards were still in the device. Earlier I also posted this in the Flashtool thread but till now no response. Curious, after Xperia S and SP this is my 3rd device and the 1st one which did not wipe data after unlocking
My xzr never wiped even on the first time

And what about after relock?
Or relock AND flash back TA partition?
I relocked by flashing backedup TA

I followed that guide for rooting and back up ta then unlocked. That time it wiped. Then relock using ta restore. Again unlocked using flash tool as I mention in op.no wipe this time

You flash the SuperSU again? Preferably 2.79
Not sure how you are bricked, what exactly did you do?

I don't understand the issue. There is a very clear guide on how to root here https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/guide-how-to-root-pure-style-t3503958. I was able to install TWRP and root with relative ease. The hardest part is just making sure you read for the details.
I successfully downgraded from marshmallow to lollipop and unlocked bootloader installed TWRP and rooted, then bypassed the factory reset protection so I could log in to Google on the set up screen.

It was easier for me to root by downgrading. If that makes any sense, which it probably doesn't lol. And thanks

Im glade I bought this phone. I was so aggravated the past few days because of the factory reset protection crap, but after I learned how to bypass it all is good now. Could anyone recommend a app or modual to use to change the navigation keys?
