Damn right you should, it's amazing! [emoji3]
When you have them on it's a completely different experience. The 3D and VR material available out of the box is impressive and of high quality in my opinion.
For a mere Eur 100 it's worth it to unlock the full potential of your device [emoji6]

I got a free one when I got my Carol Blue phone over Black Friday. It was nice to experience VR. For the price, it's worth it. I mostly enjoy watching short 360 videos and pictures to "visit" the world.
I think VR still in its infancy, while the experience is good, it still has a long way to go.
I am a busy professional so don't use it much. As I said, i got it as part of the phone promotion and use it occasionally.

It currently kicks playstation VR's ass with regard to video quality and access to apps/media. Cant increase video quality on ps4vr, ps4vr cant run youtube 360 videos or any other 360 videos not officially from sony. Gear VR is a helluva deal, other than gaming, I'm utterly dissappinted in the software video capabilities of the currently jailed ps4VR headset. PS4VR also cant load any stuff not in the playstation ecosystem like all the cool stuff on cardboard/out there on the net. #sony #VR #playstation #bummed

I'm another person luckily enough to be given a galaxy s2 direct from samsung anyway i've already done a short review if anyone cares to watch...and i plan on doing a few more videos too!
you can get to my videos at my youtube through my twitter account which is staceymobiler, or you can head to my blogspot which is staceysamsungmobiler.blogspot.com
Any feedback is welcome, i think some of you might have already seen some of us samsung mobilers around before on here anyway!
Welcome Stacey!
Yes most of us have already enjoyed your video review.
Thanks for chiming in here, hope you will provide even more useful info and compliment our friend Dom here
Hey Stacey, first of all thank you for your review, was quite nice to watch
The recording quality was nice, you let us have a look onto the stuff that comes out of the box with our beloved SGSII. You elaborated on the hardware specs as well as software (OS/Hubs). Then you told us about the battery life which sounds very promising
ahh yes Dom! he's a great guy! we're both loving our new phones! But yes, any questions don't hesitate to send them my way and i'll do my best to help!

Hi stacey.
Does it come with the Samsung package any cable to connect to the TV? Like HDMI?
Does it refer anything on specification of having NFC?
Can you know if there are any available to buy? at what cost?
I would really wanna know that before buying. Sorry so many questions.
Regards.

In the box i received it only had the usb cable, however i do believe hdmi cables will be available to buy.
The model i have doesnt have nfc, i believe that will only be an option in some specific markets...or if the phone comes with the hardware (rf arial) it will be enabled in software at a later update.
Currently the new sgs2 is available for pre order, however i would check with your local vendor for network availability and specific release dates. In the UK the sgs2 is currently retailing for around £500 sim free
Hope this helps!
Hi Stacey.
I have a question.
Have you tried transferring movie files bigger than 4 GB to the internal memory
and SD card and checked if it’s possible to play the video?
It’s probably the same limit for the internal memory and SD card.
There has been discussions in forums that the max file size is 4GB.
You probably need to copy/rip a bluray movie to get a video file bigger than 4 GB.
EDIT:
Could you also test this with USB memory/stick containing the video file and connected to micro USB if possible ?
SGS2 is supposed to have USB On-The-Go.
Hi, I was just wondering about this phone. In thinking of getting it because of its gaming pad, but is it as good as its made out to be? Also, the phone in general, good and bad things and whether or not you like it. Literally everything

I bought one on saturday from Phones4U £130, there are a few games free for it -Dead Space, sims3 , battlefield- the pad makes it a joy to use, I did have a desire, and chunky fingers meant using the touch screen for gaming was awkward. Although there is some bloatware that cant be removed this phone has been an excellent purchase for that price it runs all the usual Android apps, build quality is ok and you will need a bigger memory card -8GB isnt enough IMO- I havent used the music player yet so I cant comment on that side(despite having 300+ songs on it) best get to a shop and try it
Cool, thanks. The fact that ICS is virtually confirmed makes me want it more

You certainly have, I only wanted a new phone and this is easily the best value out there at the £120 (don't forget the £10 christmas day credit that's included). Another £8-£9 for a dock and it's just about perfect. All this before you get to it being a nifty games machine too!
I came from an iPhone and couldn't be happier.

Know where I can get it for less than £150 on tmobile? That's the cheapest I've seen it

yeah this phone is awesome! sometimes i wish it was dual core but its so fast who cares!
Yeah, I got spoiled by the game pad quick. I can finally play shadow gun and nova the way it was meant to be because it's so much easier to move, look and shoot at the same time now.
Plus being able to play all my childhood games on snes and n64.
This phone really is a one stop shop. Watch movies, read books, web surf, play games...the best phone I've ever owned.
My next phone will definitely have to have a built in game pad.

Phones4U as a PAYG upgrade.
Its been bought and is waiting to be opened on christmas can't wait!
I am thinking of getting this phone, i have read so many good reviews on it but i want to know from people who actually have it, what are the best things about it? how is gaming on it such as playing GTA3 etc and how good is the screen quality when watching movies?
£499.95 is a lot of money so i just want to know if i'll be making the right decision.
Thanks all.
in terms of gaming performance and quality for watching movies - you won't find anything better at this time.

Trust me man this is my first samsung phone. And to be honest in the past every phone i owned i moaned about somethingvor the other. But this phone is brilliant plays my HD tv shows no problem with MX Player. Plays games really well. Overall i feel this phone was worth every penny. My brother bought one for £549 the other day after he saw me not complain once about it. Usually he hears me moan about all my phones so he was suprised haha. Anyway it is your choice and that was just my opinion. Whatever decision you make good luck mate.

I had a gnexus and had a lot of problems with it. The camera was crap, no additional storage, crappy audio on headphones.
Then I bought the SGS3 and I am very happy with it, the only minor downside is that for it to be perfect you need to root and remove the bloatware, but for me is worth it. The hardware is amazing and I love how it feels on my hand, it is very ergonomic.

RAM is good for multitasking. Lol if your into gaming you should get the quad core international version and not the other way round.
You will not regret getting this phone. Usable, simple and if you want an iPhone buy a Samsung Galaxy S3!

Absolutely, I've have the i9300 about a month and love it. But if I was in the market today I'd pump for the quad core 2gb LTE version that is available in a couple of weeks, and thats even if I didn't planning on using LTE on it!!!!
ps I paid £430 for a 32gig i9300 so you shouldnt be paying £499, shop around.... Hell you can have mine for the right price and i'll go get the i9305 lol
i decided to go with a contract instead, it works out cheaper (i think). the phone was free with orange and it'll be £28 PM for the 16GB which is pretty good.
Does the smart stay also work when watching movies?, i hope so because the amount of times i have fallen asleep with it still playing xD.

It's kinda stupid to buy a smart watch. No offense but it really is. How many ppl do you know that has one? Why? Consumers dont need it nor do they want it. It's useless tech that company push out to create hype to attract attention. But in the end, the reviews come in and the tech just rots in the stores or at the company's warehouses.
Get her a necklace, buy her a regular wrist watch or buy her a car.

The pebble is the best one out but the display is terrible, so if the "best" one out there fails in the one aspect that is most important in a device you look at...you don't buy one.
Plus apple has the iwatch coming which is forcing samsung to get into the fray, so in a year there will be FAR better devices out.
iWatch will come out and then EVERYONE will be making a watch ....including HTC, Moto, Sammy, and LG.
what is the point of a smart watch? what can it do that a phone can't and at what time would you have a watch on and not your phone? if I am going to wear a watch it will be a good looking one not some dorky looking one that does the same thing my phone already does.

It's a companion not an independent device, like a bluetooth headset, you sync your phone with it and you can receive/reject calls, respond to texts...and that's all i can think of but I'm sure it has other uses.
As for carrying something even though my phone can already do it, I have a bluetooth headset, 4/3 camera, ipod, etc. that I carry at different times along with my n4 so I don't see why that matters.
Hi all, I just wanted to know if I buy the 32gb nexus from google play store it is the full uk version becuase the price is way higher on ebay-amazon etc for a uk version, is there a reason why google play is so much cheaper? Also i just came from a Onda v972 which suffered from bad firmware and lag/force closes, is the nexus nice and smooth and reasonably error free most of the time and fast? Thanks for the possible help guys

No. Google are selling faulty products hence why they are so cheap. And again, no, google are not choosing to update their own tablets. It's about as smooth as sand paper.
Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 2
Google Play store prices are almost always the cheapest for Nexus devices. Amazon and the like are using the fact that the 32gb model is always out of stock to push up the prices.
It's a pretty stable product - I've kept away from modding mine (yet!) and have had only one time when I had to reboot it -got stuck trying to change a lockscreen widget. Worked on the second attempt.

Thanks a lot for the reply, i was just wondering why amazon and ebay still sell them so high when stocks are building up in google play. I have seen some great benchmark videos but had soooo much trouble with the so called "powerfull" onda that I wondered if any tab is quick enough.
Can't compare it to other tabs but it makes my Galaxy Nexus look really slow and that's overclocked with custom rom and kernel.
