Ordered a Yotaphone 2 from BangGood last week and encountered a problem.
The phone would reboot after turning off my screen.
Occasionally, I would get a blue screen before it reboots while playing with the phone.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue?
I do, but only recently. I haven't done anything like flashing or upgrading my phone, it started by itself .
I am experiencing reboots whenever battery drops below about two thirds of its capacity. Also, charging and handling some load prevents this.

Hey guys,
I've bought my Nexus 4 end of January (first revision) and am having a major issue since I got it:
Sometimes (once a week, first two weeks even more often) it is stuck in standby. So when the phone is turned on, but the screen is off and I try to turn the screen on, it won't react at all. Most of the time, the notificationlight is blinking.
This is totally sporadically, but I think more often, when the timer is set, to get me up (or not^^) in the morning.
It won't even react on charging or attaching it to my PC. I logged it twice, but there was nothing special in the logfile (logged it with su; logcat > /sdcard/log.txt)
This can get quite annoying. All in all, this makes the Phone quite unusable, because, without trying to wake it up, you never know if it's still running and you are reachable or if it's already stuck...
First I thought, this would be, because of some softwareproblem, but I got this issue with every ROM I tried (even stock, where I got this problem the most...)
Should I send it back to Google for RMA or do you have any idea why this could be?
Thanks in advance,
acid_g
Same problem here. Also bought it at the end of January. At least once a week the screen won't turn on, and usually there is a notification light flashing. I've found lots of other people online with the same problem, but no solution. There's a ticket for it here:
code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=52926
I called Google support, and they recommended doing a factory reset, but it didn't help; a couple days later the problem happened again. So yesterday I called them back and started the RMA process. I hope the new unit works. This problem is so annoying and frustrating. You never know if your phone is going to work when you pick it up.
its called sod, sleep of death. it can happen with undervolting, and some apps can bring it on
Hi, lately i have noticed that when i am rebooting my phone it get stuck on the first screen when booting. This happens 1 out of 3 times and it is starting to annoy me when this happens, the only thing that fixes it is to pop out the battery and wait a half minut or so. anyone else who has experienced some sort of The same thing?
Thanks habuen
Hi
So my Nexus 4 ran great until the 4.3 update. Since then it has started doing random shutdowns. I have searched the internet and forums looking for possible causes. I first swapped the battery and the problem continued. Since then I have done two factory resets to try to see if the problem was app related. Still no luck. My most recent attempt to fix the issue was doing a manual upgrade following a posting on here to upgrade to 4.4. Which installed successfully, but still did not fix the random shutdowns.
After the random shutdown I cannot even get the phone to boot back up without plugging it in to some power source. When I do get it booted back up the battery has dropped from the usual 60%+ to usually under 15%. While plugged in however the battery then seems to "charge" at an accelerated rate...
I have been dealing with this 4 to 5 times a day and it is a major inconvenience
Anyone have any other suggestions or ideas on what I can do to possibly fix this?
Patterns
I've been trying to watch for patterns as well and it seems that the phone signal completely drops out shortly before the phone cuts off as well
help
same problems and attempts here no luck with no luck finding out what happened and no way finding the way to fix it
Dear community,
I own the phone since 1 1/2 years and so far I haven't had any problem, but since two days I have an issue with my N-900. My phone turns itself off several times per day. This happens when I don't use it for a while, or when I turn the screen off. Once it shut itself down, I can't even turn it on again. It behaves like a brick, it doesn't respond to any actions. Taking out the battery and put it in again, doesn't help. When I am lucky, it works after a while again, this can take between 5 minutes or half an hour. I already bought a new battery for the Note 3 and replaced the old one, it seemed like the most obvious reason, why I have this issue. Since I changed the battery yesterday the phone didn't make any issues, but this morning the problem occured again. So it can't be the battery. Currently I am doing a factory reset and reinstall android. My phone had been rooted. But smehow I think, it can't be a software related issue, otherwise it would be at least possible to turn the phone on all the time, wouldn't it?
Has anyone here exerpienced an issue like this before? Is it a hardware defect? If somebody had that issue before, what costs can I expect to fix it?
Thanks a lot guys!
I've got this weird issue. it's now happened twice randomly.
the screen fuzzes out, goes weird. nothing helps other than a reboot.
Does it possibly mean the screen is dying out?
here's a photo
It has happened with other users of this phone too. However it happens hardly once in a while like once or twice in a month or something. A simple reboot solves it as always. I would say no it's not dying, just some low quality panel used in this phone.
I've had this happen when on stock 7.0 and only recently. But like stated before only remedy is a restart.
I had the same issue with my moto x style. Its an hardware issue.which occures on both marshmallow and nougat.I replaced the display and it solved the problem. Only thing different in my case was, 1/3rd of bottom display had gray vertical lines.I got the display from aliexpress.
