For my Christmas I do have received a Smart watch GT08S.
It's a cool gift, but unfortunatly I cannot pair it to my phone... a XIAOMI MI4 LTE running MIUI 8.
I have been browsing the web and XDA for some info... The only one that I could find is that the GT08 cannot connect to Android version above 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
But I managed to connect it (without any other app than the bluetooth) to a 5.1 android. So i'm wondering if there is a special thing with MIUI?
I wonder if any of you is experiencing this problem and have any proposal?
(for now I havent tried to flash the device with a new rom as I'm not sure it will solve the problem.)

I'm running CM10.1-nightly and I've been trying to connect my inPulse SmartWatch to my N4, without success. It appears to pair successfully, but the client app never connects and I can't send any commands to it. Has anyone successfully paired their device with an inPulse watch? I wonder if it has anything to do with the changes in the bluetooth stack in 4.2.2?

I have the same problem too. I upgraded my Motorola Atrix 2 to 4.2.2 and also cannot connect. My Ubuntu netbook however has no problems. I'll reply back here here if I find anything, but I'm not too optimistic.

I just receive the DM368 (android 5.1) SMART WATCH and I want to use it with my iPhone (with out SIM cart on watch)..
I have pair it and get only notifications from the phone. Do you know if there is any android app which I can install in watch
in order to transform it to a Bluetooth handset and answer calls from iPhone with my watch ?
Also I have problem with caller ID (I cannot see it from my watch) do you know if it;s possible ?

No. It's not possible.
These watches are stand alone phones. No voice call tethering is possible

I'm thinking of entering the smart watch world. I have researched a few but can't find one that caters for what I want but am sure it's out there.
The Zeblaze Thor 4 nearly was the one till I saw it doesn't track GPS when running (I'd like to ditch the phone when running etc).
So I'm looking for something that can be a phone outright not needing to be connected to smart phone. Tracks its own gps. Optional NFC. They are main things , cheers for any suggestions. :good:
What made you think you can't use GPS while running? Isn't it just a question of adding a screen-compatible tracking app, as I did on my older Zeblaze Blitz?
Hello, i bought zeblade vibe 4 hybrid smartwatches.
But iam still trying but i cant connect them with my phone via bluetooth.....
I tried with this "zeblade app for this watches" but app couldnt find watches.
did anyone had problem with that watches ?

Hey guys, I've just recently got my hands on a OnePlus 2 phone that belonged to my brother and I'd like to set it up as my primary device but my biggest issue so far is that the Android version is kinda low, being it Android 6.
I'm wondering If it is possible to get it up to at least Android 7 with some ROM, preferably OFFICIAL but it can be CUSTOM as well as long as its stable and have the main functions working (WI-FI, Bluetooth, Celular Data, Camera, and so on).
I was searching the forums and found the LineageOS and in one of the threads regarding it, the title had "(...) Android 10" so I'm wondering If that's the version that comes with the ROM, letting you have OnePlus 2 running with Android Version 10.
I'm also open to suggestions of a workaround.
