I am not smart with smart tech but have this GT08. The shop man said it connects to wifi but I have no idea how to connect it.
Can anyone guide me like I am a 2 year old? Like Step 1 do x, Step 2 do y - because I really am lost.
I can connect it via bluetooth to my mobile but when I try to send anything to the watch the watch says there is a driver problem. I have not put a sim card in the watch and would prefer not to if it's not mandatory.
Can anyone please help?
TIA

Internet via Bluetooth
Hello.
Try the "Passthrough" option in your ActiveSync settings. Once you've enabled this option, your PDA should use the internet (network) connection of your desktop-pc through ActiveSync.
By the way: I'm still looking for a bluetooth-dongle, for using the passthrough-option, the same way, as you described. Is there any special bluetooth-standart for the dongle, I have to look for? I'm asking because I'm a little bit afraid, that the whole bluetooth-connection doesn't work, with the "wrong" dongle.
Thanks much.
I have a Belkin Bluetooth dongle that I am going to try the activesync with later tonight when I get home from work. If it works, I can reply to this post if you like and let you know the model number of it ?
Rgds,
Rob.
Hi
Thanks, working now
I bought my dongle off Ebay
only a £10 + Postage of £3.00
And works perfect
Thanks

HI, i just recently got the htc xv6900 from verizon, but i didn't get the internet plan. Is their any way for me to get internet through bluetooth or anything else? Any answer would help thanks
Anyone? plzzzzzz
Not that I know of.
you're not asking if you can be online when active syncing are you which you can. There's ways to active sync through blue tooth and I'd guess you can be online that way also but I haven't done it.
i have the sprint version (basically the exact same unit) with evdo service, but when i dont want to use it, i active sync via BT to my computer -- which has inet connection.
once the connection is established, then yes, u can get internet on the vogue. other than that, no other real way i guess...
for the activ sync could you guys tell me step by step how to do this? and my computer comes with bluetooth so i don't need a dongle right? OO and thanks for the replyes
No internet plan
You could also buy a microsd card that is a wifi adapter. Unless someone has cooked a rom that unlocks the WIFI capabilities
set the active sync to com7 and have ur BT dongle connect to ur fone.
thanks for the respons i will try it out as soon as possible
There is no wifi on the cdma vogue
Alright now i just got the usb sync with the xv6900 and i got internet. So i decided to use the bluetooth, but i was wrong: i don't have bluetooth on my desk top so i'm soon going to go to staples to buy a bluetooth adapter. I'll keep you guys updated. THANKS for all your help guys.
WOW guys!!! THanks for all of your advicess. I got the D-link Bluetooth Adapter DBT-120 for 30 bucks. And WOW it works. Not only is the internet fast, but it's free. I just plugged it in and installed in my besktop (with the given CD) and BAM it works. On the program just set it to recieve any invite. So far i've been to pocket youtube, and weather bug. Do you guys know off any good sites for games and wat not?? Thanks
So i recently bought new HTC Touch Diamond, have to get used to all of this windows mobile stuff, but there is one thing i can't do.
I can't connect to my wifi router.
It shows that signal ir full power, but it is connecting all time and then shows it unavaiable, after few secods it again apears as avaiable wifi network.
I get signal from it, and then again it's lost and so on all the freakin time.
I heard that there is such a tool, i forgot it's name, it's something with Advanced tool. And about disabling WPA.
But really i can't understand it at all. Can someone write or send me a guide please step by step how to get fix that problem.
I would really apreciate your help guys,
Thanks
Hi,
2 questions please for people who own the Ticwatch Pro 3 LTE smart watch:
1. If you're using Vodafone OneNumber with it (UK), do you need to connect your watch to your phone via Bluetooth, or are all notifications synced over as long as both the phone and the watch are connected to the internet?
2. Isn't this watch supposed to have a GPS as well as LTE??? I can't get the GPS to work at all unless I connect the watch to the phone via Bluetooth...
Thnx

Hi !!
1) with LTE enable, the watch can read notification (like sms) , but you need the App.
2) Yes, you can use GPS without the phone.
i am returning it. Google blocks all the apps from Modvoi plus sleep tracing stopped worked
Also support from the community - just does not exist
(pitty it could be the best wearable out there)
