Hey everyone I'm a newbie in chinese smartphones cuz I haven't use one before , I'm actually on LG G4 and I want to switch to another smartphone !!
My Budget is 400$ Maximum !!
after many searches I've found 4 devices in that price range ,what I really want of my next future smartphone ,is to be an upgrade over My lg G4 camera and more performance.
My priorities are , Performance and longevity !! , good Camera , Solid build (Durability) , and Battery.
But I also want a good and Sharp display, good loudspeakers !!For Multimedia
I know that this is a lot to expect from a 400$ smartphone but I just want the best bang for bucks not that Perfect as flagships!!
I've found myself stuck with Oneplus 3 , Xiaomi Mi 5s, Honor 8 , Axon 7 and Zenfone 3 !!
it's very difficult for me to choose please help me , if there is another smartphone that you consider better please tell me !!
Best Regards,
Youssef
Mi5S Plus i think. Merter battery or OnePlus3
Where do you live and how much do you care about OS updates?
I live in Morocco , So I don't care about the warranty since I cannot get any support ,
as for the OS updates ,unless the smartphone is smooth and not buggy,I don't really care about it.
What I do care about is durability , smoothness , Multimedia ,good camera for social media , and of course battery ( 4.5 of sot or better)

The battery of meizu mx 4 is not good. So I still prefer OPO.
i had the oneplus one and now i have the mx4
opo has a lot of problems ( search google ) touch screen wont work properly ,sometimes i had those ghost touches and a lot of touch issues ,microphone stopped working suddenly ...
the big problem is the support of this company ,in one word ,a big joke , just bought the mx4 with 2 years warrant in my local country, not as fast as the opo but perfect touch screen and a lot of nice features , im very pleased with it more then the opo
Hello maybe i can give some feedback, i actually used an Oneplus One for over 3 months and then switched to meizu, i didnt experience any issues with my oneplus one unit, now yellow band nothing stupid ~
i switched to the mx4 for the following reasons, for my hands the oneplus one wasnt as comfortable to hold due to how the phone is build up, the rouned design of the meizu is way better for me to hold in one hand and do something on the go ~
camera hands down i always thought the oneplus one takes descent shots untill i got my mx4..really compared to the mx4 pictures the oens of the oneplus just look washed out noisy and lack detail (they are still good but just way worse if you compare it to the mx4)
i also prefer the mx4 deisgn..performance wise they are equal..i dont see any difference even tho i score 51k in antutu while i had "only" 46k with my oneplus one, same antutu version
the only downside for me is the battery life, i get easily through the day with my mx4 but i would say i had around 20% more battery with the oneplus one
but as long i get through the day i'm fine, i would never switch my mx4 for a oneplus one.
Yeah I have an MX4 and the camera is probably the best I have ever experienced on a mobile phone and I'm just not saying that. Amazing detail in the pictures, good colors and many options to get the shot you want. Only thing I miss is image stabilization.
I consider buying the MX4. The only thing that bothers me is the software. Will there be the official CyanogenMod support? Or can we expect an upgrade of their OS to Lollipop?
What also bothers me is that there is no subforum here on XDA. Why is that? Is there really no custom software for this phone?

I don't know about Cyanogen but Lollipop is confirmed for the MX4 but I don't know when it will be released. Basically there is no development for the phone. But I like the stock software personally. One of the reasons I bought the phone.
Sent from my MX4

This set avail yourself of the iPhone's camera ( of course having more beyond ) and it actually almost made me buy an iPhone .
But on the other hand the Galaxy comes with a 16MP camera .

If you want to take it h=to even hobby level buy cheap DSLR
photo spotted ..
so it will have QHD screen so defo 4K record.. our mate 7 wont be supporting 4k ..
http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_ascend_mate_7_plus_possibly_spotted_in_a_spy_photo-news-10555.php
The question is how many people are interested to sacrifice battery life for QHD ?
Will you see the difference between the two devices holding them together ?
If they have solved the problem with batter life plus a better camera then they have made a real beast!
However considering the price of the Mate 7 one could only imagine the price for the plus version will be more in the note 4 price segment.
Hi guys,
I am going to sell my G6 soon as I don't really like it and I thought about getting Mi Note 2 or Mi6. Would you buy your Mi Note 2 again or you would rather go with Mi6? Mi Note 2 has audio jack, OLED and curved screen, while Mi6 has IPS (so it won't burn-in), better camera I guess (?) and powerful SoC. What are your opinions?
Regards
Well , i'm gonna say my opinion. You can agree/disagree with it tho XD
I would buy Mi Note 2 again because:
1.Good price
2.I really enjoy a 5.5 inch-6 inch screen , so this 5.7 inch one is perfect. It has vivid colors as it is an OLED , but it's true , it's not that sharp. If you really need sharpness and display is a big thing for you , maybe you might consider Mi 6.
3.The design is very nice and a lot of people said that it looks very good when they saw it.
4.The audio of Mi Note 2 in headphones is the best i've ever heard coming from a smartphone. This applies to the loudspeaker also. It's really loud with punchy bass and clarity.
5.Camera , indeed , may not be as great as mi 6 , but it does the job for me. Untill now, i managed to get good shots in every condition , without complaining about the results.
6.The SoC upgrade, for me, has no value as sd821 already runs every game very well. Also, it runs good a more demanding game that just apeared , PUBG for mobile .
Those were my thoughts. Maybe i'm not that pretentious when it comes to have a smartphone. I hope you make the right choice and your new phone will please you

I'd love to see Google Cam with HDR+ on Mi Note 2 as well as it's portrait mode However I think that Mi6 has more ROMs to choose from and better dev support

Yeah , it depends on what you are searching for
I would say that you should buy the one you have a feeling it will be the best for you. Don't get distracted on reviews .
hello fellow mi note 2 users.
im on mate 9 now and as we already know the phone cannot be rooted while i need root for every phone's that i've buyed . the main reason is for adaway and v4a .
is mi note 2(6gh ram 128gb of storage) worth to be switching at , what is the common problem in mi note 2 , overheat?
if you play intensive games or are a gamer forget it..not worth it..if you are a camera fan, forget it..its average,i need more tests but i take few photos so its not a deal breaker for me....if you like sound and image quality, decent battery for amoled display this is for you..i bought also this week 4/64 version and i love the phone..beautiful design, great sound (bass is really good) great colors..no lags for me but im not on global rom,i have developer rom 9.4.25 by xiaomi.eu after unlock the bootloader..
